Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

It's almost embarrassing, but despite flying the life out of this lovely airliner, I simply cannot find a way to adjust the altitude in 100s, in the FCU. All I get is 2000, 3000, etc. Can't find a clickspot or any other way to change the altitude scale. Anyone got any clues?

To my knowledge, Pilot2ATC is using the Windows Speech Recognition feature. Microsoft has announced that starting September 2024 they will remove the speech recognition feature in Windows 11. See link below. Users are supposed to be using the new "Voice Access" feature instead. Does anybody know if this will work with Pilot2ATC or if P2ATC is planning any updates/patches to address this? I have a question regarding scenery and settings. I've noticed that when flying into large cities such as Chicago, New York, San Fran, LA, etc, my photogrammetric scenery only looks good when looking down. When looking into the distance, it looks flat, washed out and triangular. The scenery then loads as I get closer. My question is, do I have a setting too high or not enough that is causing this? To give a little more context, my specs are in my sig and I think I have a pretty high end system. I am flying the Fenix which i know can be a bit more taxing on my system. I have always gotten a smooth, jitter free flight so that is good. It is just the scenery that I f…

I just cross posted in someone else's topic but thought this was important enough to call out independently if you are having the MSFS won't load issues: All of a sudden after the last Win10 update I am in the same boat and MSFS will no longer load. Tried getting updates from the store, none available, signing in and out of the store and XBox, repairing, removing Community, no luck. I have just had what can only be described as a waking nightmare..... I decided to take the PMDG 737-600 out for a quick spin around the hand crafted version of EFIV Ivalo (which I think is a decent rendition of the airport). When I was turning onto left base in preparation for a landing on runway 22, I received one of those annoying red "Connection Lost" messages. I have a friend who suddenly has a strange problem with the time slider on the World Map screen, and with the weather widget once be loads onto the runway. They all are greyed out and not adjustable for some reason. Seems to be a general problem, not aircraft specific. I have read that something like this can be associated with multiplayer where only the team leader has control of time and weather, but my friend has not participated in any multiplayer flights (at least not intentionally! 😉) We are looking for some ideas on what to check. I located the heading bug setting control knob on my new PC-12... but when i activate it by pushing it with the cursor and then trying to set a new course by moving my trac ball, nothing happens... any help appreciated... John Helms

This afternoon, everytime I start MSFS i am told my bandwith is too low, going to switch to off line mode. My bandwith is not to low it is 1300Mbits. I seems to be seeing this on week end days? Anyone seeing this problem? Thanks Jim Brady

I'm hoping someone out there may be able to help. I'm adding some drone shots to a short video that someone is making about the crash of a US B24 J Liberator, that came down on the Mendips, in Somerset, during WW2. It's only for a historical society's website, but I wanted to offer some help to them. In addition, I thought it could be fun if I could grab some video footage of the actual flight path in the sim, if I could get a B24 on FlightSim.to, but sadly I can't find anything. Was at LKPR preparing my LKPR-EGLL flight. Loaded everything up, asked EFB to load via GSX, aircraft was refuelled as normal, passengers started boarding and then just stopped at 70 passengers (should have been 128) and NO cargo. So irritating...any ideas?

Since last night i have been through this update sequence six times. This morning 'I thought' I was getting somewhere. After having lost all my 'Control Options' settings I was now able to input new profiles but the Default name would not change to the new profile name that I gave it. Then I got the message that I had to install some other essential update. I thought I had better do this before continuing. This I tried but after another 30 minutes it turned out to be the same update that I had previous installed !!! Then it finally hung with a blue screen with a '/' at top righthand side. Hoping someone in the community can help me with this issue. I have tried binding my SimWorks PC-12 throttle both through MSFS Control Options and also FSUIPC. I select the axis, and although the throttle works (with both MSFS and FSUIPC), in that it goes to full power, idle or reverse as selected - the throttle movement is very jerky, far from being smooth. Not sure why, or as to whether this is a known bug. Anyone else experiencing similar the same? Prefer to use FSUIPC for bindings - but if you know of a better way to resolve this issue - I am all ears.

Is it possible to load a flight plan directly from Simbrief into my Black Square Barron GTN750xi. Also not sure where I should save my files from simbrief into the correct folder. Not the community room right? Thanks Walt

The famous airship with a historic end is coming to MSFS soon. Would you consider performing a 1:1 recreation of the transatlantic flights? At 2 days in length, even hard-core 'no time acceleration' guys may struggle! Personally, I'm unsure about putting this in the sim, much the same as I have a hangup about the Twin Towers, or the Titanic in ship simulator. Plus, you just know that someone will release a livery with the Swastika emblazoned on it. Following the Caribbean update (without watermasks) I've recently installed and flown to quite a few airports in the region by Lexus2000 all of which are of a pretty good quality, but I note that Toto3312C has developed some of his own versions. Before embarking on the task of installing Toto3312C's new versions and trying to compare them with Lexus2000's, has anyone else tried Toto3312C's and have any comnents? Otherwise I am in for a lot of swapping and restarting msfs which is pretty time consuming.

In a recent post on the FlightFX Discord channel they have announced development of the Bombardier Challenger 350 & 3500!! Biz jet lovers such as myself are going to have a really busy and fun year ahead! Keep on brining the Biz Jets! Folks Bizarre thing has just happened. Started up MSFS and it commenced taking me through setup screens - for graphics, assistance etc etc. Decided to close it down and restart the PC. Same thing. This time I went through it and chose to customise each of the settings to the best of my memory. Got through all that and it eventually started, but all my keyboard settings, mouse setting and joystick settings are gone! All my camera views are all gone too!! Plus the damned music is playing. This has never happened before and been with MSFS from day one. Any ideas - please help

Hi Everybody, What's with the molten buildings I see everywhere. I have a top of the line (7950X3D, 4090, DDR5 @ 6000, 990pro 2TB nvme) setup with an internet speed of ping 2.7ms / down speed 937.55Mbps and an up speed of 937.17Mbps. I've cleaned out everything with an unlimited cache. What gives, server end not able to keep up with demand?
