Having issues with auto throttle engaging when I’m climbing, I drop from MCT/FLX to climb and THR LVR stays in green but THR CLB flashes below in white. when doing this I get a message on the ECAM saying move throttle forward, which then i go into MAN Thrust. I’ve calibrated the throttle as I just use a controller and played around with the nullzones. Can’t figure it out. Ive used the CFM before the B2 update and input everything directly into the MCDU. Pretty sure I’m doing everything right, but unsure if procedures regarding this are the same in the IAE. Hoping someone can help me on this one!

Not sure if this is strictly related to the 3rd party scenery airport that I'm using or something else. But does anyone else get this?

Hi all, Since about a week ago msfs control settings is not recognising the axis of any of my controllers. Instead it is seeing them as buttons that are either on or off. The software calibration for my controls shows that my tca airbus quadrant and joystick are working fine as are my Logitech pedals but I just can't get the settings within the sim to recognise the sliding/moving axis. I have tried deleting profiles but when I create a new one the axis doesn't even show as moving although it does in sensitivities! Never had this problem before and it is definitely not the controllers. Any clues/help would be greatly appreciated as my throttles are currently eith…

I had gone a LONG time without any crashes (over a year) but now I'm getting occasional CTDs when pausing. It doesn't happen all of the time, just occasionally when I pause the sim to get coffee, use the restroom, etc. VERY frustrating - I'll pause a nice flight, then come back a few minutes later to find the sim gone. Anyone else experiencing this?

Upon my return to FS I acquired a new computer and just recently installed MSFS 2020. After several uses, I noticed that upon closing the sim Microsoft Edge opens (along with the “personal” file folder). I have searched for a cause but have come up empty. The closest I could find was similar behavior upon starting the sim not closing it. I’m a bit overwhelmed coming from FS9 and learning this new FS world and I could really do without this kind of annoyance. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have a Navigraph subscription. Today suddenly I am having problems with procedures which can't be found (by the BATC beta) or wrong procedures being assigned (FSHud). It's as if the navdata is corrupted. I also noticed procedures are missing in my Vision Jet G3000. I uninstalled the navdata and reinstalled it but that didn't solve the problem, Is there any way to troubleshoot navdata...? And while I am at it: is there also a way to verify MSFS without it causing a complete reinstall? I have the Steam version. Yesterday MSFS wouldn't start and after a PC restart some settings had been reset. Perhaps more has been reset somehow...

For the MSFS Addon Linker, every time I install MSFS on a new PC (i’ve had to do it quite a few times), addon linker acts like its the first time its started up and I have to specify all of the directories all over again. I keep AddonLinker on an external SSD so I don’t have to reinstall it, however it seems the configs are kept somewhere else on the PC. One big issue is the “Dependencies” feature, as it’s incredibly time consuming to recreate all of them. Is there a way for AddonLinker to keep the settings and dependencies in its current main install folder so I don’t have to re-create them all every time I install MSFS on a new PC? Thanks!

Hello, I am having an issue with the aileron trim in this plane, and I'm not sure if it's a user error or a problem with the aircraft. What happens is I have the aileron trim set to the center, as verified by the gauge in the cockpit, however any time I turn the aircraft in a specific direction the airplane will want to keep turning in that direction. For example, say I am flying straight and decide to turn the plane to the left. Once I am done with the turn, I can level the wings, however they don't want to stay level and will naturally keep trying to roll the plane slightly to the left if I let go of the joystick. The only way for me to keep them level after turning is …

In the official description for the Learjet 35 it says "1 model uses Flysimware's GNS 530 with working VNAV system" so I was wondering how a VNAV system with a GNS530 works? i hadn't heard of this before. I know how to use the 530 descent calculator but that's different than a "working VNAV system". This sounds like the Lear's autopilot connects with the GNS530 and follows a descent course. Anyone know how to do this?

In FS2Crew you can have the FO automate most of the tasks, but would be great if we can choose to play as FO or PF. If you choose to be a FO then FS2Crew will automatically take over as the PF and do everything the pilot is suppose to. Would love to see this feature being incorporated into future FS2Crew addons. Where you can have the pilot flying automatically carry out the tasks and you can take the role of the FO instead. This would make it great for takeof and landing roles where you can focus your attention on watching the takeoff and landing as a passenger. It's almost impossible to watch your takeoff and landing in real time since you as the pilot is doi…

I thought I saw this somewhere but can't find it anymore... Is it true that if you don't properly shut down engines for example, or start them out of sequence, etc. that over time it can cause failures or issues and then require "maintenance"? Did i hear that correctly?

Greetings everyone I hope your virtual flying escapades are going well! Here's the question: Does anyone know if there's a mappable command to the rocker switch on the AP that adjusts the vertical speed (shown below as highlighted button with "VERTICAL ADJUST" callout)? I'm just trying to map it to a switch on my VKB STECS and I'm not using anything like Axis and Ohs or FSUIPC or any other addons, Just hoping there is a default sim command. I've tried INCREASE/DECREASE VERTICAL SPEED, INCREASE/DECREASE AUTOPILOT REFERENCE ALTITUDE and INCREASE/DECREASE AP PITCH HOLD REFERENCE but no bueno. For reference this is in the BlackSquare Baron 58 with the KNS 81 AP but …

When I started climbing the Fenix A320 learning curve, I had assumed that packs had to be turned-off prior to engines start so that there would be sufficient bleed air to start the engines so I kept turning them OFF and then ON after engines start. In one of my earlier flights, I forgot to turn them off but the engines started fine anyway so the questions are: In normal procedures, are the packs supposed to be OFF or ON prior to engines start ? If ON, are they being turned-off and then turned-on behind the scenes automatically or are they ON all the time ? IRL flights with A320s, the cabin gets awfully quiet after pushback and back to the usual air rushing so…

Posting here for those who don't use Discord. This was posted by the dev on Discord today: This week we're working to give you more control over your experience. We've not yet officially announced our pricing model as we want to make sure we get it totally right before we say anything publicly. But most likely, BeyondATC will have a base cost - this gives you the program itself and a good amount of Voice Time. Voice Time is a currency that allows you to use Standard and Premium model voices. Every time BeyondATC generates a voice, this costs money, and as such each request will subtract a bit of value from your total Voice Time. Standard uses up a little where as Pre…

I'm thinking of upgrading my very outdated underpowered PC, I'm not really inclined to build this one and prefer a pre-built machine. I'm looking at these MicroCenter PowerSpec PC's, the price seems right the only downside I could find was they are using a PowerSpec 750w power supply, everything else seems legit quality MB, CPU, Ram etc. When I look at building myself the cost comes out to about the same. If I were to build my own I may pick a corsair cooler and 850w Power supply, but that's really it and I could always add one later. I like that I can walk into the store not far from me and walk out with have a powerhouse machine ready to go. Does anyone own …
