Hello all, I'm happy to finally join the forum despite being a long-time lurker. What happened was my Nvidia application on my computer wanted to "optimize" the sim's parameters such as graphics settings, screen resolution, etc. I've never done this before and never will again, because it completely wiped the sim clean. When I restarted the sim, it went through the introduction stuff as it did when I first purchased it. With the exception of the (useless) logbook, everything was wiped back to factory default. On arrival to rwy 32L I vacated on L4 at speed, at the end of the hill on L4, just before taxiway A I was met by a low wall about 3 feet in height with the yellow taxi lines going up and over it, I would surely have severed the undercarriage if I hadn't slammed on the brakes. I noticed this "wall" all along the side of taxiway A and it appeared again at A24 blocking entrance to the ramp. If anyone is able to jump in and see if the problem appears on their end too that would be great. I've noticed this at several airports since the last sim update, most noticeably in FeelTheres KLGA and now here also.

Brand new to msfs2020 although I have flown sims in the past. I finally got msfs2020 installed on my "gaming computer" I bought especially to run simulators. I have finally got the Stream version to install and I cannot figure out what to do next. I start Steam and then start msfs and both programs are full screen but they both just sit there doing nothing. What is the next step?

I think I've figured out what's wrong with the Fenix V2's dim display screens (at least in my own head). The issue is that, in real life, electrically lit lights will appear brighter when in the shade. Now take a look at the screenshot below. The section that is within the shade is exactly where the AP FMAs are. But because the FMAs are not 'real light', rather than being brighter, they become dimmer, along with all of the other textures. As cockpits are generally quite dark in MSFS, the Fenix V2's display screens spend a lot of their time within a shaded area. ..... and thus, the displays are too dim. Can't get rid of the "LVR CLB" flashing in he PFD. I'm using an Xbox controller and I think have setup thrust lever calibration correctly. They all say they are in the detents in the calibration MCDU setup. No matter how much micro fidgeting with the throttles I do, I cant to get the LVR CLB to go away during flight. Have tried with 2% - 5% null zones and tried calibration several times. Never had this problem with the previous version of Fenix. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks

Just like with my other post regarding the best option for a Boeing 787, I would get your opinions on which is the best Garmin GTN option, and also aircraft where you can readily install it, like the A2A Comanche. I values the closest to the real model. I used the ELITE IFT v9 version during beta testing for ELITE v9, and it uses the real Garmin sim, and a modified version of FSUIPC for the link between ELITE v9 and the Garmin sim, and it's database updates cost a little fortune 😕 so all I have is the original database, rather outdated :-/, but I guess the available MFS GTNs can get their navdata from the same sources that are updatable for instance through the …

I recently acquired VR goggles, and after trying out some of my aircraft, a few have stood out as I got into the cockpit because I had that WOW! moment. So far for me, the DC-3 was one that I felt 2D doesn't quite do it justice, it is such big difference in 3D! It got me thinking about getting feedback in case I am missing out on an aircraft I don't currently own. Please share which aircrafts give you that WOW! moment in VR? Thank you!

I am experiencing some flashing while flying at night using frame gen. Some times I think it has to do with using FSTL, not sure. Not sure if its the weather conditions. Ideas or thoughts with settings? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Currently running specs as per topic (4K with 75-80% resolution scaling). Should I expect to be able to run either Fenix/PMDG @ 30 FPS with Vsync like I do in P3Dv5 (FSlabs/PMDG) do you think? Or am I out of luck with my old hardware? Cheers, Rudy

When reconfiguring for version 2 Fenix everything was ok, but my flaps don't work through the TCA. I believe there is a detail to configure specifically for Fenix, but I don't remember. I ask for help, have a good week everyone, Baptista

I just purchased the LoupeDeck live and downloaded the MSFS 2020 profile from their website.Although it works pretty good, I need to customize it for non standard settings like using LVARs. Is there a good forum or other technical resource, that deals with development? I tried responding to a thread of the original developer, but haven’t heard back from him yet. It seems pretty easy to update, but it only lists a subset of the MSFS 2020 variables. Overall, what an awesome device! Thanks!

Guys, I was on my pc flying normal yesterday, all the sudden im On today and at airports I’m not having smooth performance at all and getting stutters. For instance, cvg, was there yesterday perfectly fine 80-90 fps. Today I pan around in the drone, about 12 fps near the gates with no ai!! What is going on? I haven’t changed anything on my sim in 24 hours, haven’t updated any display drivers nothing, this is a nightmare please help. Rtx 4070 i9-10850k

Has there been any update on the sws pc12? I know they were struggling with ground handling "model", not sure how everyone else seems to account for this correctly? It has been out a while now and just have not heard very much. Mine has been sitting in the hanger because it was just tooooo frustrating to fly.

I'm generally a lucky guy where MSFS is concerned and don't have many issues. But completely out of the blue, having been using MSFS just fine earlier today. I just launched the sim, was told I needed a 11Gb mandatory update (I was fully up to date), and then on loading, was horrified to see MSFS start on the dread "accessibility" screen, with everything reset, and all joystick and controller settings lot. Is there any way back to my previous good settings? PS... 4 perfectly fine sessions in MSFS today. Then I installed the new updated Flightsimware C414, launched MSFS, and everything lost.
