I know that the failures listed in the EFB are headed up as 'manual failures' - is there anyway that 'random failures' can be initiated? - so that I do not know what failure to expect or when?

Don't you all think, we are approaching the best "time" for MSFS in terms of incoming Airliners that should be released in the near future? I just started MSFS, my default aircraft was supposed to be the Fenix, and instead it was the 747.. I saw a screen pop up for about 2 seconds that said there was an upgrade in the marketplace. Then when I selected the Fenix, the livery I had been using disappeared. Went to market place and looked, nothing there.. Strange.

Hello, I have decided to buy the Inibuilds A300. Trying to learn. I have been watching tutorials but I'm stuck and don't understand. Why I don't have any numbers showing at the heading selector, alt , vertical speed, ect. I have the batteries on and the APU On...What Im my not doing?? What have I missed? I'm following the tutorial......Can someone please help me on this. Thanx I appreciated very much.

This silly announcement has started playing when I fly GA/props (which I will admit I seldom do). I don't remember this occurring before this last "hotfix". Any thoughts welcome. Ta!

I'm having constant problems with GSX and the Fenix. Now, I'm sat at EGLL gate 518, I've requested loading through GSX (jetway attached, doors open). Aircracft has been refuelled, but still eight minutes later, no sign of ANY passengers. Baggage has been loaded visually BUT it's not indicating any cargo has been loaded on the EFB. 10 minutes in, still no passengers...

I read a post a few days ago about how good New Zealand looked in MSFS. I am flying with A Pilots LIfe, and was offered a job with New Zealand Airways, which I took. Not only is the scenery gorgeous, but some of the airports are a real challenge to get in an out of. I just took of at NZQN in the Fenix, and it was a real nail biter to clear all the mountains on departure. There is also a large airport with no RNAV or ILS approach's, and it is in a valley, so getting down in time to make a landing, is a bit scary. Love flying around this area.

Anyone else seeing cockpit shadows in the Fenix as blurry flickering mess ? I am using the 4096 (via usercfg file mod) And in planes like PMDG or other the shadows are super sharp.

I have been trying to access PMDG OPs Center to update my aircraft, but it keeps telling me that their server is down and to check my settings. Nothing has changed on my end. Did I miss something?

Something that hasn't happened in a long time occurred today, my sim froze while making a flight. Default scenery, default aircraft. Was about 75 miles out of LA when suddenly nothing worked anymore. Had to use the task manager to kill the program. Sigh.

Has anyone else noticed a tile colouration mismatch line a short distance north of EGNC Carlisle? It is definitely not just adjacent fields of different colours, because the line runs through fields etc. I wonder if MS/Asobo are aware of this issue? This is not the same problem as mismatched tiles loading as the plane moves. It is a fixed boundary with a lighter area to the north, and a much darker area to the south. I really hope that this can be fixed, as it is the kind of thing that drives me nuts.

I have a new install of Standard MSFS 2020 on the Steam platform All good except L1 and L3 buttons on my Hotas Thrustmaster will not bind to Cockpit and External views In a previous Microsoft Store install of MSFS 2020 de luxe version these buttons worked OK Any tips on remedying this situation? I can change views with a Keyboard command but it’s a bit clumsy xxd09

Some technical help please I have a Microsoft installed version of MSFS 2020 installed but it is currently inoperable plus a Steam copy of MSFS 2020 also installed but operable -all on the same computer Where do I find the Community folder for the Steam version-is there one? With the original Microsoft MSFS 2020 ie the initial installed version the Community folder is easy to find Long term this is not a tenable situation but in the meantime I would like to use some Addons for the Steam version of MSFS 2030 -if it’s possible xxd09

I'm using online traffic and flying over KLAX. I see plenty of traffic and it shows on the VFR map and the G1000. For some reason the option to show traffic is grayed out in LNM. I looked through the options and didn't notice anything obvious to turn it on. I disconnected and reconnected to MSFS and it does show my plane and location. Also, I tried Dev mode and tried simconnect to enable LNM, still no traffic or the option available. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the latest version of LNM. Is there a way to fix this?

I’ve done a lot of online searches trying to ascertain exactly what it meant by Asobo’s plan to “keep the client thin” in MSFS24. I’m totally confused. MSFS is a great sim, I’m just technologically challenged, and it’s barring me from having a clear idea of what to expect in the new sim. Surely, the entire sim can’t be in the cloud right? That seems awfully problematic to anyone whose internet isn’t gold 100% of the time. At last!.. I love the Sabre. It will be available on the 30th March, at (what I think is) a reasonable price of $19.95. They had kindly allowed their FSX / P3D model to be converted for use as freeware in MSFS (over on flightsim.to), as long as the cockpit was not modified to fully functional, and there are plenty of repaints for it. Now we can have the real thing. I love the vintage jets, and hopefully we can have a P-80 / T-33 one day.
