Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello, so i recently got a 4060ti with 16GB of RAM and I can really recomment this as a budget option for MSFS. While reviews claim that the difference between the 8GB and 16GB cards are not worth the extra price, this is not true when using MSFS, as on almost max-settings it uses around 12GB of VRAM and as long as there is some headroom, it will run smoothly. My system is a 5600x, 32GB of RAM and the said ASUS 4060ti. So its kind of mid level, but for 1080p gaming works perfectly for me. As all of you know, nvidia DLSS tends to makes images blurry. Occasionally I just like to free hand and sight see and take away some of the "piloting" aspects of flying. I always used the AI rudder for take off and landings simply because no matter what the sensitivity settings are the rudder controls are way too sensitive. Anyway. I turned on AI Auto Trim. Perhaps I'm expecting it to work a bit too much like the ALT button on the auto pilot but this thing doesn't trim a darn thing. This weekend I had probably the most immersive flight simulation experience I've ever had, with some surprises along the way. A combination of factors contributed to it — fantastic (i.e. terrible) real-world weather conditions, a magnificent add-on aircraft (The Blacksquare TBM 850) and an insanely immersive air traffic control experience (SayIntentions.ai) that pulled it all together. Hello everyone, Just bought the comanche for msfs and having great fun with it. I can't manage to pop out the gtn750 screen and the engine rpm display (rpm, fuel flow panel..). In all other aircraft this works perfectly fine using alt+left mouse button but the Comanche just won't let me do this. I've tried pop out manager also but this doesn't work either. The screens are not hidden somewhere in an invisible screen/monitor..I've checked that also. I use Air Manager for my displays and I really need the pop out screens. Does anyone know how to do this? I am trying to get to grips with the Simworks PC-12 and the recently released TDS GTNXi Pro. My issue is with regard to the flight plan and trying to get the PC-12 to follow that flight plan. So, I enter a flight plan, in this case, from EGKA to EGLC. The navigation source is showing VOR, so I click the CDI button on the GTNXi Pro, and it momentarily changes to GPS (which is what I assume I need for the plane to follow the flight plan) - then it reverts back to VOR. What I need to know, is how do I select GPS as the navigation source on the GTNXi, so that the plane follows the flight plan. Or have I got the wrong procedure in my head?

About two weeks ago, I started experiencing CTDs when I was using MSFS 2020. Having read many threads regarding CTDs on various forums, I followed most suggestions, including deleting NVidia cache, rolling cache and shaders. These suggestions did not resolve my CTDs, and I then reinstalled MSFS 2020 and windows 11, again to no avail. The irony was that when I opened MSFS 2020, it worked absolutely fine, until the point of the CTD. Why do I see blinds / vertical lines in clouds when flying, it’s extremely annoying, it’s like pixelated, it’s weird. It’s usually at like the top of the cloud. They’re not massive but can be seen while flying. Using dx12 dlss frame gen.

I was wondering what are people's choice here when flying the A320. If you use Rev Idle, when do you activate? When in the flare or beforehand? I'm wondering how this will affect the landing in the Fenix. I just recently found out that full reverse, depending on the airline of course, is seldom used outside of very specific conditions such as weather or rw length for example. I've always found that there's not much of a rollout in the sim and the bite of the brakes and reverse combo slows you down in no time.

Su15 was suposed to fix ground handling increasing the tyre friction and reducing weathervane effects. This looks like workrouind around the real problem that default aircarft (at least Cessna 172) feels like it's made of cardboard and is lacking mass and inertia so the wind tosses it arouind like a toy. There is really a huge difference in FM from the default GA plane and A2A Comache with latter having a feel of mass and inertia and thus not overly responsive to the stick input as opposed to the former where control surfaces have immediate authority over the aircraft. but on the other hand make it susceptible to every breeze hurling it around, be it on …

Hello, When flying on the Fenix A320, the ATC always give me the flight number "1123". The operator name is correct (if I use an Air France livery ATC will call me Air France) but no matter what the flight number is always "1123". Is there a way to have the ATC use the flight number I have plugin the MCDU ? Is there some value to change in the aircraft.cfg ? it migh not be specific to the Fenix A320, it's just that it's the only airliner I'm using so I have noticed it.

Suddenly I needed to update 160GB. This does not make sense. What happened before is my steam MSFS didnt want to start. After hours of troubleshooting, I managed to start MSFS after deleting two Fgen DLL files. And suddenly this update (159 GB) is mandatory? Im so done. Please help 😞

For some reason I can't get the vnav descent to work properly. Not too long after starting the descent the speed target drops to my vref speed even with the fmc programmed correctly even though I'm still something like 80nm out. I have to manually override the speed on descent. It's almost as if it's skipping the waypoints in between and going directly to the speed that's in the fmc at the IF on the ILS. Is this a known bug or am I just missing something? I've triple checked everything and there shouldn't be any issues. No other plane has this issue for me. edit: should specify I’m on the beta right now so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hello, is anyone here using the RSG GTN750 (gen 2) with MSFS? The recently released TDS GTN750 with naivgraph support has me using the GTN750 a lot and I’m contemplating buying some hardware. Inown the RSG GNS430/530 so I know they generally make good stuff, but I’m wondering how the touch screen works? RSG says it’s necessary to use third party freeware software for the touchscreen to to work (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/msfs-pop-out-panel-manager-with-touch-panel-support-v4-0-3/460613/1208). Needing third party software makes me a bit leery, I’d love to hear from anyone currently using this combo on how well it all works together. Thanks …

This happened on a few flights in MSFS now. Im not in Beta. Flying PMDG 737 (happened in FSreborn 500 and BS Bonanza as well). After about 40 minutes or so of cruising, everything in the controls, camera are delayed by about 4-6 seconds. It eventually stops this and becomes more responsive. The only new thing I installed was the TDS 750 but I highly doubt this has anything to do with it. I uninstalled it and few the PMDG again....and alas....same issue. I do have the FD mod and Dynamic LOD but again, I doubt these have anything to do with this. Only fix is to pause/unpause a few times to "wake up" the response time. Anyone else?
