Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

MSFS is slow running on my desktop gaming computer... I have ATT fiber optic hard wired to my desktop...they say I have 3 devices hooked up...my Speed Test rating on the desktop is 356 mbps down...anything I can due to speed things up or is something wrong with MSFS?...any help appreciated...

Hi, I am hoping someone can help. Some weeks ago I came a cross a small utility that allowed me to practice landings etc in a simple way. The utility which was not part of NSFS itself allowed me to pick a destination airport and various landing scenarios. Unfortunately I have now forgotten it's name and I can see anything that jumps out at me in my downloads. Hope someone can put me out of my misery!!

Hello everyone, I use MSFS to provide "world" visuals for another sim, which provides the aircraft systems, cockpit visuals, and flight dynamics. Because of this, I have to position the main MSFS window pretty precisely on one of my monitors. The problem is that after every MSFS update, it reverts back to full screen, and then I have to resize and drag the MSFS window around back to where I want it. But that's like 10 seconds of extra work that I wish I didn't have to do. Is there any way for MSFS to remember the previous window size and location after an update? Thanks. P.S. I know a few people here have complained about Nvidia Freestyle filters not sticking in the recent GeForce drivers, and it appears Nvidia has finally fixed this in their 551.61 driver released today. They've also fixed some HDR issues for videos in Chrome/Edge, so I can finally update from the trusty 537.58 drivers I've been running since last year. Is there any Mod Developer who could be encouraged to take ATL on? I was so hopeful when I read ImagineSim’s FB announcement finally acknowledging the shortcomings in ATL. Then they released their “update” and it was back to square one. I use the handcrafted ATL A LOT. The ATC there is superb, and it’s geographically convenient. I know there are a few scenery developer/modders who have done a SUPERB job with other airports. Perhaps we could crowdfund our next airport- KATL? I have a top of the line I9 14900k with Rtx 4900 and 48gb ram. Everything is on ultra. DX12 with FG On. 140 TLOD and 170 Object LOD. I have 100 FPS and fluid experience BUT I am experiencing still stutters on approach and also on flare for some reason. This happens with Fenix, PMDG and other default MSFS planes. I thought it’s a payware scenery problem but it also happens at default airports. How’s everyone’s stutters in SU15 compared to 14? I thought SU15 was suppose to fix it

Hello, My MSFS dedicated SSD is getting a bit full and I can't replace it right away. My question: if I delete any regional world updates, am I also deleting updates/improvements to the core sim that might have come with those updates or am I just losing terrain detail in those areas? Thank you. 😎

Does anyone know how to properly revert back to SU14 from SU15 beat on Steam? I selected 'None' in the beta drop down list in the properties section of the flightsim. When I rebooted the sim, I see the version is back to 1.36.20 but I still have the Dune splash screen which is part of SU15 I believe? Is there something else that needs to be done? Stu

So ive got a I9 10900K and have , long story short, noticed that it is "Limited by main thread". So ive taken to the internet going down a rabbit hole searching for whats going on, to no avail. I makes no sense because i have locked and unlocked my frame rate, changed LOD terrrain and objects up and down, and am currently at 100. Im getting roughtly 31-32fps pretty rock steady no matter what...i noticed, same aircraft and same area yesterday cruising at 14,000 ft my fps was exactly the same...32. the only way i could see it change is when it dipped down to 25-27fps when LOD Finally hit 200. So this morning i figured id play a little more with the LOD and bottomed it to Ze…

What the hell is the matter with the MS Marketplace tonight? I purchased one airport at 17:40 (35 minutes ago), and currently it has dropped back to zero for the third time. That is totally ridiculous

After entering the VOR1 data in RAD NAV including the correct CRS, what is the procedure/key presses for telling the A/P to use VOR1 for lateral navigation instead of GPS....and then later to go back to GPS ? I see a VORD button on the EFIS but that's not doing it...thanks.

I'm currently a P3D user flying PMDG 777 and FsLabs A319/20/21. I would very much like to make the transition to MSFS and wondered what the Fenix A320 is like compared to the FsLabs A320? Is it the same study level? Thanks

I've got a problem that I hope you can solve. I'm running MSFS along with Little-navmap (L-n) and Flightsimulator.me's All-in-one tablet (AIO). Having prepared a flight plan using L-n and exporting it to MSFS I can follow the flight on the desktop L-n display; the map moves, with my aircraft staying central in the L-n window. . And if I click on the Navmap icon on the AIO tablet display I then see the flight plan in the AIO tablet display. But the AIO display doesn't reflect the flight as it progresses (the map doesn't move), like the L-n window on the desktop does. How do I get the AIO display to follow the aircraft during the flight?
