Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi all, I just wanted some information regarding the use of the rudder on the Airbus A300/A310 during approach and landing. I can’t seem to find any answers online. Do you only use the rudder for the flare like with the A320, it’s not used in flight. Is this correct? Thanks, Jonathan

I've purchased EGPD from the iniManager, but once again (after 15 minutes), the add-on has not appeared in My Products.This appears to be happening more and more now...how can I solve this?

If you tried DX12 in the past, but DX11 still performed better for you, you might give DX12 another chance after you've upgraded to SU14. Until the release of SU14, I always got better performance with DX11. By contrast, DX12 had always introduced stutters and graphics anomalies on my system. With each new Sim Update, I'd always try out DX12 once again to see how things went. I usually reverted immediately to DX11. With SU14, however, many of the previous issues with DX12 appear to have been fixed. I've never seen the sim run as smoothly as it now does. I havent had any problems in about a year and the latest nvidia driver that was released on APR 04 caused bad stuttering. I immediately reverted back to the previous version. Anybody else with the same experience?

How can I setup the fenix flaps and spoilers the honeycomb? Could figure that out yet

After years and years of making what I thought were perfectly ok landings in my flight sim airliners, I bought FSI Panel which tells me most of the time that I’m so far off the centreline that I’d be a danger to myself and others. Straddling the centreline won’t cut it. Even 9 feet deviation is a serious matter it seems. And 19 feet is basically a catastrophe. Anyone else similarly humiliated? Or is it just me? What precision is actually typical in real life?

I am having constant problems using GSX with both Fenix A320 V2, and the latest iteration of the PMDG 737-800. To be honest I have given up using it with the Fenix A320, cause whether I try and use the 'automated' use of GSX via the EFB, or select the 'functions' manually, it simply does not work like it use to before V2 was released. So this morning, I wondered if my issues with the PMDG 737-800 were due to me spawning the aircraft at a third party airport. I wonder if you remember Airsimmer in FS9? Long story short, I was one of them who were dying for a decent Airbus A320. We tried the skyrocketing Wilco Series, and did many merges. Then there was this developer who gave birth to A320. I instantly purchased the product. Alas, the bus was a CTD heaven. It was unusable in most flights and people were literally angry with this developer due to their extremely lacking course of actions to clean up the mess. I have been having this strange issue for about 2 months now. Anytime I am on the sim flying and I walk away or just not touch anything for about 10 minutes, as soon as I move my mouse the sim pauses for about 5-10 seconds. If I am flying the PMDG or Ini A300, once the sim "wakes back up" the landing gear extends. In the Fenix, I hear the throttle move in and out of the detents. I do have a Honeycomb TQ but cannot figure out what would cause this or if it has anything do do with it. Has anyone else seen this behavior or know what might cause it? I am on SU15 beta but it was happening on SU14 also. Thanks!

Hello, I've never seen this issue before. My sim no longer show VOR no matter what plane or GTN/Radio I'm using. Screenshots below. As you can see the RMI will show ILS with the GTN and the radio freq panel but not ILS. This is very odd and I can't figure it out. Any help will be very much appreciated.

I cannot engage the reverse thrust of the PMDG 737-800. Because I have installed both updates (MSFS and PMDG) today without flying in between, I cannot say which one causes the issue. Before today, everything worked fine regarding the PMDG a/c. Could anyone confirm this issue?

Hello. It's a lovely plane to fly. However I am still learning to fly her properly. And one thing I would like to ask is how to increase cruise speed. It seems that there is always headroom to increase the speed but whatever I did it just refused to increase. For example, I was in 18000 ft cruise with 190 kts while the magenta speed stayed in 230 something. And, sometimes on final, my throttle was in idle position but it could maintain proper approach speed. In other scenario, it needed to be in 35-40% to be in the Vapp perimeter (power management is TO). Thank you very much.

Before I disappear into a rabbit hole trying to fix this myself, has anyone else had an issue with the Fenix landing gear suddenly retracting on finals and then giving inconsistent responses to the gear down command? Happened to me three times today on the latest Beta so maybe a glitch from that.

Hi, I am wondering who are the actual manufacturers of these specific charts like this one:- https://www.flightaware.com/resources/airport/JFK/APD/AIRPORT+DIAGRAM/pdf I like there styles but all I can see is they do USA Airports only, I was looking for the same style but for worldwide airports. I am aware of Navgraph and Aerosoft but they are subscription and the are up to date. I am looking for charts that you can view offline as with most airport constantly changing, the most up to date chart as a result of live update will not reflect the airports within Flight Sim as no developer can constantly up date their products to current state. Hi anyone face problems with Rex Accuseasons stuck in automation? I can hit the green ok button all day nothing have to close it out through task manager. Reload to try to change things manually. Wont let me in. Darn thing goes back into automation download then right back to the same loop. Started this on the leap day haven't been able to get into it since. Thanks

Dear All, I'm mystified - MSFS has been very stable for a long time and then all of a sudden I get CTD's whenever I start up - usually after the ASOBO splash screen. I had the same thing happen last year and I traced the that problem with help from this forum to that using a USB3 hub caused the issue. I've removed everything from my community folder, checked that if any of my inputs from my equipment (rudder pedals, joystick, etc.) has an effect and no joy - I've tried over 20 times. May I ask if anybody has had a similar experience and what did you do to fix it? Best regards, Peter

Hey chaps, Just bought this and whilst it works flawlessly with the Fenix A320, i cant seem to get the tug etc to work with the Horizon 789.. I'm thinking its a 'profile' thing, and there isn't one as yet maybe? ... my internet search revealed nothing.. The push-back works fine with the planning, but no tug connected and no voices.. bit annoying... Anyone using this with the 789?

On the Descent page of Boeing aircraft, it is customary to change the default speeds prior to leaving cruise altitude (we typically do it on the ground before departure). For instance, in the B737, we set .78/280 for our descents. Does anyone know what the correct speeds should be for the B787 Dreamliner? I’m fairly sure the default speeds in the box are incorrect.

I have just purchased the 146 Professional and also updated it. I can't assign a lever to the throttle. I use a TM Hotas Warthog and in FSUIPC assign one of its throttle lever to 'throttle' in FSUIPC. It does not work. Either nothing happens when I move the Lever or it makes sudden jumps in position. I have checked that nothing is assigned to the throttle in MSFS own axis assigments. I have also assigned the speed brake (spoiler) to the left throttle lever. And here everything works as intended. Only throttle seem affected. Also tried clicking the small lever to get it out of cut off detent. Still it wont work. Anyone recognises this problem ?

Just a quick question. was/is mobiflight-event-module a part of MSFS2020_AutoFPS and hence installed in the Community folder by it? Thanks, Hans
