I have problem using different cameras. First I discovered that there are from start preset 'instrument views'. If I first select one of these I can cycle through them. But the captain seat is wrong it is placed to far front. This is not the same view as when the plane is first loaded up and I press space (I use VR but the problem also show in 2D). How do I edit an instrument view and then save it ? First when in the startup view I can't cycle the instrument views. This is also the case if I load the captain view as a custom saved camera. How to best resolve this ? How do you do ?

Since my last RW flight I decided to try soaring again in MSFS 2020 but unless I use "slew mode" I can't takeoff, either being towed by the default C172 or using any of the winches... After signaling the wingman he gives the ok to the tug or winch either the tug stands still as if it wasn't powerful enough to make the glider move or in case of being a winch it tries to pull me back???? Is this a known bug in SU15 beta?

I've had three instances where my GPS has lost contact with MSFS's builtin satellites, twice over the southern Indian Ocean which I attributed to possible lack of real satellite coverage (probably not) and now 600 miles out from Goose Bay on a flight from Iceland. I'm sure that area is covered so the problem must be in MSFS and how it connects with my GPS. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions or ideas? Thanks

There's a new development update on the upcoming Black Square Piston and Turbine Dukes out now https://www.justflight.com/articles/black-square-dukes-development-update-march-2024 Biggest news seems to be that expected release has been pushed back slight to the beginning of April but there's plenty of good news in there to offset that including that they've now identified how to connect the KNS-81 RNAV radio to the Autopilot so you'll be able to use that directly rather than having to use HDG mode to fly the course and that updated product pages, including links to the manuals, will hopefully be available this week.

So I read a Reddit thread a few months ago where it was discussed that QualityWings didn't renew their trademark. In that Reddit thread, there was a link to this that showed QualityWings didn't renew their trademark. I can't vouch for the accuracy of that link, but maybe somebody that is more familiar with how trademarks are filed in the US can verify whether that information is accurate or not. Even if that link is accurate and the information in it is accurate, it only shows that QualityWings cancelled the trademark on March 4th, 2022. I've had a run of unsuccessful long-haul flights in MSFS lately. Mostly due to a few circumstancial issues, rather than any specific major issue with my installation. Eg. I flew a long-haul with the PMDG BBJ, on the release that had the freezing issue (now fixed), and had to abort the flight just prior to my destination. I tried another with the Headwind A330 and came back to me screen after a 6 hour sleep, to find an empty desktop 🤔 (not sure what happened on that one). ...especially at low wind conditions. I'm mostly flying PMDGs 737 and usually, I start programming my approach and runway when I've passed TOD. How can I find out which runways MSFS would assign to ai traffic (FSLTL) at that stage of the flight? There is nothing worse than ai using the opposite direction.

Hi all been away from here for almost 18 months but getting back into sim again now i have a bit more time. not sure if its me or not but when i go into the controller options at the main menu pages when i select sat camera button settings, when the drop down menu appears it overlaps everything below it. unless i expand all this happens with every menu header ie radio, flight controls instruments etc. is the a way to have the menus expand without having to expand all and just have the one i want to adjust open without overlapping the other sections thanks

Just a quick-n-dirty question. What is better, VSync On in FS2020 or in NVidia Control Panel? Or even not at all set to On? Thanks, Hans

Having cleaned my system, Windows, Temp files, Browser caches, Nvidia shaders and installed the latest Nvidia driver, I notice that there are some cache folders within the MSFS directory. Please can anyone explain what these caches contain and which (if any) may be safe to delete or should be periodically purged? I currently have my rolling and manual caches turned off. Thanks

I have just installed the latest 'Development' file for the FBW A320 {11/03/24) 85d0414. When I set the throttles to 'Flex' the engines return to idle. They power up in all other positions. Is anyone else seeing this? Or is it something I am not doing. The plane behaved perfectly until this update. I do worry that as a casual flyer that as the FBW 320 progresses that it will move beyond my knowledge to fly, it will become too professional for me 😊. I have tried recalibrating the throttle levers to no avail. Thanks in anticipation.

I'm always looking to making flight simming as simple as possible. I like short videos as well. I just found this YouTube video which improved stuff for me even though the video and settings suggested are over a year old and after lots of MSFS updates (as of April 2024) . Not that I fly 'em often, but I have the Hughes (of course) and the Latécoère, and a Honeycomb Bravo. But neither MSFS nor Spad.next give me the option to control any more than 4 engines. Anyone find a way to control 6 engines with discrete axes?

Twice in the last 24 hours, I've had an AP disconnect during approach: approx 3000ft, flaps 2, 180kts. First time was into Istanbul (LFTM). Winds calm, nothing out of the ordinary. Second time was into Heathrow (EGLL) tonight. Yes, it was gusty, but I can't believe that all these hundreds of aircraft making approaches tonight have got autopilots disonnecting all over the place...! Would be chaos. This issue needs to be addressed urgently. Major problem.

Hello, How to get/install the PW version of Inibuilds A300-600F. I have the version with the GE but it seems I can't get the PW version to show up. Do I have to purchase another aircraft?? According to ini-manager its says its installed. Can someone help me on this thanx. I appreciate the Help.....

Hello all! I am LOVING FG with my new 4070TI Super, however, when I have FG ON and FPS locked at 60 I get jitters in lights where panning around. They take a second or so to settle. These jitters happen on the Fenix A320 displays as well. VSYNC is set to off. Would anyone know why this is happening? Thanks!

do i need to use vsync or lock frames , doesn't that defeat the object of VRR ?

Hello. I have downloaded the addons linker from Flightsim.to. I extract the files but I don't see any install fille just the single application file. The .exe file launches an XML config file. When I click the MSFS_AddonsLinker application file it says starting and then launches to the Options page and doesn't let me add any Folders to the Add Folders area. It lets me browse to where I want a folder to be added, I click it but doesn't add it to the Add Folders area. It keeps saying I need to add at least one folder to apply changes. All the tutorials show it launching to a main program page not the options page. Is there another way to "install it"?? Any help ap…

I hope JYW doesn't mind my borrowing his thread title, but it's exactly what I have in mind too except that it's for the Cockspur Mustang, and I couldn't think of a better one at the moment. Why re-invent the wheel right? 🙂 I couldn't find any change logs since the Mustang's release over a year ago. It's on sale at an offer that's hard to refuse in the Marketplace (63% off). Do all the buttons and switches work? Is the manual available for download? Does the keyboard work? Autopilot? Is it still being supported and updated? Thank you.
