Anyone know?

For those of you who fly for your own Company to make virtual money hauling cargo or passengers.....in your opinion.....which app do you prefer? Years ago when I started flying Flight sims I started with "Microsoft flight sim 2004 A Century of Flight" and I was hooked! Been flying on and off since then. When MSFS 2020 came along I was hooked again! This is the best of all flight sims IMHO. When I was flying FSX I wonted to fly for a reason rather than punch holes in the sky lol. No solution from the developer to solve the issue and it's been years. Has anyone managed to solve the crash during initial loading, and if so, what steps have you taken to troubleshoot and resolve this issue?

So I'm preping to take the 738 from California to Hawaii (probably Maui), I have two questions. Wasn't there a World Update that modified Hawaii (wasn't called WU Hawaii though), do you know which one it was so I can get it? Second, does anyone have a good scenery for Maui that is compatible with the current WU version of Hawaii. Thanks!

Hi, I recently bought the Thrustmaster TRFP rudder pedals and the work great! However, when I takeoff in the fenix it always veers to the right without any steering inputs. That also happens on landing. Any idea how to fix this?

I have noticed a difference managing and configuring takeoffs with CFM vs. IAE engines. There are two areas on which I need some feedback: Takeoff Configuration- With the CFM frame, the EFB-recommended optimum flap configuration varies depending on TOW, runway length, etc. I have seen optimum flap configurations from flaps 1 to flaps 3. With the IAE frame, I have yet to see a flap configuration other than flaps 3; it's always flaps 3 regardless of airport and runway length. Has anyone else seen this ? Any suggestions, feedback ? After the last update I am getting large multuicoloured tiles on the ground scenery. . Has anyyone else had this problem?

Some interesting observations on whether or not one should upgrade to Windows 11 for better performance of MSFS.

SO I ran the AIG AI Manager this morning to just run some updates for flightplans etc. and it removed ALL of my flightplans and AI aircraft installed! OMG! I had a TON of airlines installed. All gone. And now the AI manager is acting very strange - it will not download any plans? BE CAREFUL and back up your aircraft in the AIG folder before opening that manager again! Now I'm not sure what I can do to get them back 😞

Today I noticed that when I undock more than 2 instrument panels to my 2nd monitor my fps is going down. This didn't use to be the case so far. I could undock 4 panels to mu 2nd without any drop in fps. So I hope that someone can help me and tell me what I might have done wrong to achieve this unwelcome fact. I am running FS2020 in DX-11 with V-sync set in NCP (as per my yesterday's thread in this forum). Other than that nothing, afaik, has been deliberately changed by myself, other than I did a small flight in DX-12 but then went back to DX-11 again. In the last few days I have been getting quite bad stutters whereas before my sim was pretty smooth. I've managed to to isolate the the problem as being the navigraph simlink. I've tried all kinds of combinations (dx 11, dx 12, HAGS on/off etc) but it always comes down to the simlink. I've got the latest version. Any ideas?

I have an RTX 3080, and have been using the FG mod to get the higher FPS, which I was really pleased with. But it seems that the newest Nvidia driver 552.12 disables that mod. I've tried re-installing the FG mod and turning off the signature checks, but no luck. I haven't tried rolling back the driver yet, it's a bit of hassle, but I will if there's no other choice. Is anyone else with an older pre RTX 4*** card having the same problem with the FG mod? Thanks - Bob

Tldr; New 737 update to fix a camera bug that appeared like a freezing bug, pretty much nothing worth noting on 777 progress other than adding wear to textures. Hi, 1st time this happens. During MSFS startup I get message that it can't sync with cloud and shortly after that I get a screen 'Insert your MSFS disk'. Right.... Anyone?

Hi, I have now three times tried to do an high altitude IFR flight using the inbuilt ATC with a flight plan made on the world map. In all three instances MSFS crashed to desktop when I got near the destination airport. Doing the same flights without ATC did not crash. Is this a known issue? Helge

I found out today that in the windows audio mixer, there is a setting for Fenix.Gqlgateway. If that isn't turned all the way up, you may not hear the cabin announcements or they will be very low. I found out t hat after turning all volumes on cabin announcements to max, on the Fenix audio panel, you still maybe only hear one or two announcements, if you get any at all, and then it goes silent. I have A Pilots Life V2 which has a plug in with cabin announcements, they are loud, and always function at the proper time, so I think I am just not going to bother with the Fenix announcements. YMMV

anybody kniws what i havve to change in game graphic options to fix the slow loading texture / objects issue? In most of photogrametry cities the building textures finish to load when i am near of them, and some scenery objects are loaded too when i am negar if them (runway signs at the airports for eixample) Thanks

Would be cool if FS2020 could work right off of the bat with ForeFlight the way Xplane and P3D do. So many RW GA pilots are using Foreflight these days it would make planning and flying on the PC a lot more realistic. Cheers!

Oh my God! Everything is prolonged or delayed... updating msfs... beyond atc... fshud... realtraffic data coverage... And, I don't know about you, but I have the feeling that the only thing that matters to me is that air traffic works and doesn't do strange things. From what I read, people go crazy for realistic voices in an ATC... and I just need the control tower to guide the planes well. I wouldn't care, even if the controller was mute. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with msfs: wonderful clouds, great scenery, very good planes... buuuut...a terrible atc and very bad approaches. Hi, I have just been practicing some 'windy' approaches and landings into EGLL (Heathrow) with the Fenix A320 V2, and using FSiPanel to set up the approach. After what I thought was a very good landing on to RW 27L at EGLL, FSiPanel informs me that my landing rate of descent was 139 fpm, with which I was very pleased. I recently downloaded Landing Rate Manager (LRM) from flightsim.to, and on that same landing, informs me that my landing rate of descent was 394 fpm and rated it as a firm landing. Clearly they cannot both be right, and I would have assumed that both software programs would be drawing the data from the same source, obviously not. Can anyone …
