On Saturday MSFS was working well. I had flown five or six missions over three sessions with no problems. I then did a normal shutdown with the "Quit to Desktop" from the Main Menu. I built a new PC for FSMS, and am not sure about some steps while reinstalling it : Should I uninstall previously MSFS at the old PC in order to prevent problems with licence, etc ? For the reinstall process should i just ingress at my Microsoft account and find the product there ? As I have the Packages /Community/Oficial, folder installed at other disk, which I plan to keep in my new Pc, I asume I can install only the basic game and use my old Packages folder, is it OK ? Addons as PDMG aircraft and others which are installed in diferent Windows folders, should be uninstalled previously at the old PC ? Some other advise or tips related ? …

texture patches in the runways... since a few days I started noticing it. Suffice to say, I deleted the rolling cache, also the shaders cache and ... they're still visible, here&there, like squares or rectangles the are planted at some runway positions, with a texture differing from that of the scenery ? Any hints ?

Hi Due to some reason which I cannot identify, I got 3 blank icons inside MSFS. Besisdes camera, navlog, fuel, weather, and so on... I get hud_moon_compass, hud_moon_power and hud_moon_altimeter. I don't know where those icons belong. I would like to get rid of them. Thanks.

I see a beautiful image from the cockpit or from any external camera. But, 3.5 seconds after the mouse stops moving - I see terrible shimmering. All straight lines seem to vibrate. All the text on the control panel shimmer. The instant there is a mouse input the shimmering disappears. Control inputs do not cause the shimmering to stop. The problem occurs in Windows 11 / DX11 / DX12 / FG on / FG off / Aniso filtering at every level... and every other parameter I can try to change. I have worked thru NVCP and thru the MSFS settings. There are some things that, after 4 years, I cannot believe MSFS cannot do or there is no solution for. Number one would be chaseplane or something of the sorts.... the other is multiple windows. By this, I mean having 2 or 3 windows open with different views. In P3D, I would have cockpit view as one and an exterior or wing view as the other. I haven't asked this question in a long while so I thought I would ask it again... is this possible now?

There is a small lake called Lago das Encrobas located around 6 or 7 miles south of the runway 03 threshold at LECO A Coruna (just beyond a ridge). Unfortunately, this seems to have a mesh issue which is rendering cliffs on all sides (like an impact crater). I have checked this lake out on Google Maps, and the sides are nothing like the cliffs that can be seen in MSFS. Is there anything that can be done about this? I am in the lastest beta , but I lost my drone focus mode, it's not working in auto or manual mode. Anyone has the same? EDIT. apparently you need to have depth of field switched on, in the general setting menu.

Any developers working on LFPG? Seems like the last major hub needed for MSFS. While the terrain mod is good, there isn't a pro payware add-on yet.

Floyds-Epic-Clouds I have posted these previously long ago, but it bears repeating for those who may have missed them. In my opinion these free clouds rival or actually exceed the beauty of any commercial package. Almost a must-have. (unless you have something against presets!) I thought it might be causing some poor performance that seemed more server-side (good CPU/GPU/VRAM overhead) so I turned it if several months ago, and I have forgotten what I might be missing 🤪. Sorry if this has been mentioned deep into a bunch of AS threads but I thought I'd ask a few questions here. Hoping this can be clarified. 1) How does AS differ from the default weather when it comes to live weather (i only fly in live weather)? 2) Are the clouds visually different than the default? 3) How does this AS differ from the AS that I used in P3D? What is missing / what is included? Basically I was never a fan of the default weather when it comes to how the clouds and the cloud layers were depicted so I was hoping AS would solve that. Whilst setting up for a flight I found that I couldn't start the No:2 engine. No:1 engine started up OK. Tried a few things but gave up and restarted the flight. Now however I find that my Flypad is missing. I couldn't remember having seen any options to disable it in the settings. Looked again but nothing found. There must be a simple solution to fix this, can anyone help please. Baz
