Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I have updated to SU8 and when pressing the mid click button on my mouse to zoom in it works fine, but pressing it again to go back to the mouse cursor so I can click on things in the flightdeck does not work, it just stays in zoom mode. I haven't had this issue before and have tried configuring my mouse settings in MSFS but to no avail. Any idea what the issue may be?

Just encountered this on my last flight, don't think I've seen it before. As you can see in the video, the artifact does not seem to be related to frame generation. Does anybody know what the cause might be? iniBuilds has teased one of their upcoming airports. Looks like it's in one of the under served parts of the World: Spoiler Looks like it's HKJK – Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International based on the Siginon Aviation signage and reference to elephants in the quote.

Is there anyway to save profiles for the settings in MSFS.

My altimeter is always 29.92 no matter where I’m at, anyone else have the same problem? Im in beta btw.

I have installed RealTurb CAT Areas Global for a long time. Do you actually still need that or does MSFS cover it? There hasn't been an update for the tool in a long time. However, the weather engine in MSFS was continually adjusted.

Hello everyone, I've a simple question related to the startup of this ship - I'm having trouble starting the engine into Hotel Mode - Prop Brake - On Fuel Pump Eng 2 - On Start Mode A&B Start Eng 2 - On Once past 10%- move Eng 2 to Feather Position --> NH rises to 17.9 and oil pressure does not go above 28 psi, ITT stays at 12 - nothing happens. In all the vids I've watched the temp rises normally and the engine reacts. Nothing happens for me. I'm obviously missing a step and can't for the life of me find what it is. I've followed the tutorials up to this point and can't see what I've done wrong. Any ideas?

In the included tutorial for this plane I arrive at a point where I should turn on DC pump and see a pressure rise. I don't see any pressure rise here. But I see it when turning on AC pump and PTU. I can still do the rest of the checklist but I wonder what might be wrong here ?

Well, there we have it. A lot of people enjoyed the iniBuilds Beluga on XP. At the end of the Twitch stream today, they announced the Beluga and A400M would come for MSFS 2024. Edit: Tuskin38 claims it's the Beluga XL. Note that iniBuilds made the Beluga ST for XP. Please read Tuskin38's comments below.

Is it possible to replace the Asobo provided Avatars with alternatives?, no biggie and not something that I even notice normally, nut I've been flying the Bronco lately and it's a bit of a Buzz-Kill when I take a peep at the external cam and see a completely inappropriate chap or chapess

I've got RD Presets LXGB (Gibraltar). Obviously the airport has an active road that crosses it. However, it constantly has road traffic crossing the runway. Is there any way to stop this? Thanks

FSimStudios released a V2 version of their excellent (in my opinion) CYHZ Halifax Stanfield Intl airport. If you already own V1, it's a free upgrade (I was able to just uninstall V1 and install V2 in my Orbx Library). Hello, Flying along just fine. Great flight up to this point. Suddenly, got the red connection lost message. 15 seconds later the green connected message. Then 15 to 20 seconds later the red connection lost message, it’s now cycling connection lost, then connected. No other internet issues with any browser on the same pc or any other device connected to the same network, could this be an issue wit a ms server or something more local with my fs2020 install? I’ve never had this before.

Flying around NZ the past couple days and I have been noticing quite a bit of terrain morphing, kinda like steps in the terrain that keep moving as if the ground height is constantly being adjusted in the vicinity of the aircraft. Got me wondering as I have Orbx New Zealand Mesh installed. I have checked it is the current v1.1.0 version. Anyone else notice this and/or is this a known issue? Is this mesh even still relevant as I know that the NZ WU a while back added improved mesh anyway.

Hi guys, A cautionary warning; When I signed up for Say Intentions, to use with MSFS for a month, what the wording suggested I was buying was 1 month of subscription. I did not feel I encountered anything that suggested that I had agreed to recurring payments being taken from my bank. I know how subs work, but in many cases, it's possible to use a subscription service, while not utilizing automatic recurring payments. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Doing a round trip KEWR-KMIA without shutting down the sim. Just creating a new flight plan in simbrief, refreshing that in the PMDG and returning to KEWR. What I notice is when I get back to KEWR there is no AI... I am going to try it again and see if I can catch the logs but wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it is a known issue and I should be shutting down/restarting AIG in between flights. Kern Valley Airport (L05) was one of my favorite small airfield in FSx/P3D. Nor only because of the great rendition by Orbx but also because the area was stunning: Isabella lake, Kern river, the south of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the runway into the valley. Frame Gen seems to work perfectly on my sim. MSFS_AutoFPS shows exactly twice the frame rate as does Dev mode FPS display. The 4k display is smooth and just as I would expect with FG working. However - I never find a Frame Gen option in the General Options window in the sim. At one point, prior to updating my .dll files for Frame Gen the option did always appear. What have I done wrong? Any recommendations which aircraft to use for Aircraft Type in Simbrief when flight-planning for the Bonanza G36 or G36 Turbo? As this aircraft is not in the type list, I thought I might use something similar, but I'm not sure there are any good matches.
