I've been asked what the status of VoxATC is in another thread concerning a different ATC product. @Tva Now, I'm not going to flame a thread with information about Vox there, because that's not fair, but.. I will tell you here 🙂 Vox is in closed beta, and pretty advanced. It injects its own AI a/c and controls them just like it does you. It can inject and control both IFR and VFR traffic. A search here will show a few older videos about it yes, showing some functionality, but to be honest, they don't show all its capabilities. VoxATC preview. 4. Hi friends, As we all know the only "true" pause in MSFS is the one in the Developer Menu. Its the only one that freezes time. Is there some kind of trickery one can do to bind a key to that Developer Pause? Right now we have to enable the Dev Menu then use the mouse to get to the submenu to hit Pause. Thanks for any info.

  6. Hello All, I hope everyone is doing well and excited for MSFS 2024. I know I am. However, am I the only one that wishes MS will enhance or change the night sky (stars) texture map and overall feeling of depth perception? I know there are a lot of things to continue improving, but this is one area where I lose immersion and the drive to fly at night. Keep up the great work MS and looking forward to MSFS 2024. Cheers

Hello. To my understanding, Duckworks and Gotfriends work together pretty well, at least I haven't noticed anything funny so far. But do they also work well with the Aeroplane Heaven's DC-3 modi n the Marketplace? Has anyone been using the three mods? Thank you very much.

  12. Hi All, Most of you may be interested with this, so I wanted to share the info for heads up. https://flightsim.to/file/38499/mamudesign-marinas This is another new addon which is owned by a good community developer, adding auto generated marinas & boats around the world. Coverage is quite well and will probably be increased. Adds much immersion to the sim and FPS friendly. Thanks to the developer, as he did with his other addons.

Where will I find the file containing the brakes for Hans Hartmann's ATR? Other planes brakes are normally found in a systems.cfg file. I am using the steam version of MSFS. I find the brakes to be rather harsh and would like to adjust them.

  18. Hi All, I have an issue with the Pitch and Heading Pan rates in the virtual cockpit views. I turned on Frame Generation after playing around in DX11 then returning to DX12 then suddenly, upon reopening MSFS, the pan rates in the cockpit had more than tripled. I went to my C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache And I checked my Cameras.CFG and found that there were new values for PitchPanRate=300 HeadingPanRate=500 Which were originally PitchPanRate=30 HeadingPanRate=75 I returned the values to the original values and saved the file and made it read only so MSFS could not overwrite them again. …

The designer (1970's) said this plane was an altered version of the 1910 Fessenden Bullet ! In the '70s it used the common Volkswagen Bug air cooled car engine available at auto junk yards around America. The MSFS version uses the later plans version with a much more expensive engine that allows cruising at 155 knots. A main attraction is wonderful visibility from the cockpit. Stall is 37. Tricycle gear. The problem is lack of cargo capacity and so light it blows around in the weather. Which rules it out for adventures in the back country. Is in the marketplace. Cheap.

40 USD includes a full cockpit which looks pretty good. This looks comparable to Carenado level product - not a bad thing if you're looking to buzz the skies with a classic C130. edit: I don't see anything about sounds... so they're probably using king air sounds which wouldn't be a good fit. https://captainsim.net/products/m130/m133/

For those of you using Spad.Next and utilizing the X and Y axis for aileron and elevator control, does the movement seen to be more fluid and granular. And yes there are ways to make dead spots etc., but it seems that the experience is clearly better and not on rails. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback?

Over the last couple of years, I can recall making a number of registry edits for msfs, internet optimisation, etc. I seem to have lost my text file where I logged them all. Does anyone have a list of edits they have done and even perhaps which might be useful or snake oil? Search function didn't seem to yield much in the way of results.

I would like the cockpit view to replicate sitting in the left seat with the seat and view centered along the yoke. Having a widescreen monitor I would also like the seat to be on the left side of the monitor in line with my real yoke. The best I can come with using the horizontal slider that makes appear I'm sitting in the LH seat but looking at everything from the centre of the cockpit. I'm seeing the right side of the yoke and gauges etc. It should be straight on. Not the end of the world but my OCD is appalled. Perhaps a setting I'm missing or some manual editing of an file required. All suggestions welcome. Cheers, David

  25. I am sure I read of this bug a while back but not really noticed it until I took the Fenix A320 out for a few flights last night. When holding the right mouse button to look around all flight controls stop responding. The only way to regain control is to release the right mouse button and refocus the game window with a left click of the mouse. I use the Thrustmaster TCA controls. This is also true while in flight and on the ground, it is pretty frustrating. Is there something I am doing wrong?
