MSFS2024 wont load
Just to dot i's and cross t's, since the problem seems to have started when you uninstalled/reinstalled your 4090, have you double checked that all your card's power connectors are secure and fully pushed in, both at the card and power supply ends? I ask because my 3080 did the same thing, and it turned out one of the power cables connecting had worked loose, not enough to pop right out of the socket on the card, but enough not to make contact. So there was enough power getting through for the card to turn on and do mundane tasks, like display web surfing, but not enough power to run a demanding game. Just a thought.

I can not sign in to my account at Simmarket.
I have no problem signing into my Simmarket account on their web page or accessing my Simmarket account through the desktop app. This suggests to me that the problem is with your PC, maybe a Windows setting or perhaps with your AV or firewall, or maybe with your local server, something that's preventing the Simmarket sign in page from reading what you type. Are you able to log in to your accounts with other companies? You could try e-mailing Simmarket directly at: [email protected] ,but if the problem is a setting on your PC, I don't know if they will be able to help you much.

CowanSim H125/R66 and 500E
I don't know if this is what you need, but to get the helicopter trim assist functions to work in the R66 and 500E (I don't know about the H125, I haven't flown it in awhile), you need to turn on (push) the SAS button, usually located on the center console. You may need to push the stick to one side to see it. When off, it's plain white, when on, the button glows green. It also seems to dampen some of the CS helicopters' twitchier movements. I think most of the CS helicopters have this now. I hope that helps. PS: this is for 2024; I don't know if 2020 CS helicopters have the SAS button or not.

Setting a limit for FPS doesn't work in SU4 ?
I have a 3080, and I'm using the FG mod from Nexus in 2024. The only way I found to limit FPS was with the frame limiter in the Nvidia Control Panel. None of the other fps limiter options worked. I haven't tried experimenting yet in SU4 (everything's working like it did in SU3, only smoother). Maybe I'll try removing the FG mod, or try other limiters, to see what happens. Sorry, I don't know if that's any help.

SWStudios RV-14 in MSFS 2024: how to remove the co-pilot?
Try the freeware Gotfriends Legacy Weights & Balance addon: https://www.got-friends.com/collections/freeware/products/legacy-weight-balance Just add to your community folder. It puts a little weight icon in your 2024 handlebar that brings up the same weights and balance screen you see in 2020. I tried on the RV-14, and it removed the co-pilot just fine. Hope that helps

Got Friends Aeroprakt A32 Vixen - first impressions
It's a very nice offering (as I would expect from Got Friends). Just one small question for those who have the plane: how do you get a co-pilot to show? According to the manual, there's suppose to be a click point on the co-pilot's seat belt buckle, but I can't find it. I've tried adding weight to the co-pilot position, but still can't find a click point. Nothing major, and hardly a deal breaker for such fine add on, but I just wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

MSFS2020 not starting, CTD at loading, no Nvidia app
Another possibility is that the problem is with Asobo's servers, and has nothing to do with your PC or MSFS install, especially since you're getting CTD's half way through the initial loading phase, even in safe mode (when I understand your PC is trying to connect to the Asobo servers). I note another thread has been opened with someone else having the same problem. The difficulty is, I don't know how you would test for this, apart from waiting a few hours and seeing if the problem still persists. With the new Japan update and the new local legends release, the servers may be busy. Just another thought before you start dismantling your PC...

Henrik Nielsen's Global AI Ship Traffic for MSFS
On Flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/81663/global-ai-ship-traffic-v6 (the link still shows the old version number, but the page has version 7.1. I believe that's the latest version).

MSFS 2020 SU16 (released 5 Aug 25)
Yes, I tried loading the CS R66 heli at NZNS runway 2, got to the ready to fly screen, the sound cut out, and two seconds later, CTD. This in 2020 with all available updates installed, including the one for WU XIII NZD. I tried again with the Carenado V35, runway 20R, and same thing. So I guess Asobo has some fixing to do.

2024: Any way to see distant ai ships and planes?
Yes! Thank you pemigris! Setting the Aircraft Traffic Type to AI Offline gets the GAIST ships to show in SU2 (General -> Online -> Data Connection -> Aircraft Traffic Type). I also turned the ship density on and off the first time as you described, but thereafter, the GAIST ships showed each time I started the sim. But you're right. it does take a good 3 to 4 minutes for the ships to pop in. Setting ship density to Ultra seems to be equivalent to 20% or 30% density in 2020. Thanks again

2024: Any way to see distant ai ships and planes?
GAIST ships was working in SU1, but not in SU2 or SU3; I guess Asobo changed pathways somewhere. Mamudesign Marinas still works in SU2 and SU3, and provides lots of small boats in marinas and around harbors, which can be seen from some distance (at least I assume all the small boats around the harbors are from Mamudesign), but it's not quite the same as having large ships sailing the oceans.

2024: Any way to see distant ai ships and planes?
I suppose I can guess what the answer will be (and will probably get flamed just for asking), but just in case, does anyone know how to change settings in MSFS so ai ships and planes appear at a distance, like in 2020? Currently ai ships and planes only pop into existence when you're a few hundred feet from them. I was wondering if someone knows of a setting somewhere maybe deep in the sim files that would toggle a longer distance view. I know there's more important bugs to fix, but it's just something from 2020 that I miss in 2024. Thanks - Bob

MSFS 2024 New SU2 beta version available (1.4.10.0)
Thanks for the reply, but no, the NCP limiter doesn't work either. I don't have RTSS. I guess I'll have to wait for Nvldia to catch up to the latest SU2, or for Asobo to take the next step and include an in-sim limiter that works with the FSR3 FG.
