Hi, everyone, After Update XVII I visited some places in Scotland and was surprised by the amount of trees I saw (for example in Shetland and Fair Isles). Precisely these last few days I have been watching the first season of the TV series "Shetland" and what I saw on MFSF 2020 contrasted greatly with what I saw on television. So later, I inspected the surroundings of Fair Isle and Shetland Island with Google Maps, including Tingwall airport, and the difference from reality is enormous: there are almost no trees. Why that difference? Regards.

Good day. I've been wondering whether our contoller setup settings would be able to be imported into MSFS 2024 from the MSFS 2020 cloud? Would be very handy to avoid the heartache of repeating that process again! Maybe some insider information out there? Regards.

Hello all, I have been enjoying flying the T7 but I need to practice my landings. I seem to hit pretty hard and I think part of the problem is that the perspective is much higher above the runway than most planes. That said, is there a best practice for how to save a flight in mid-air, about 6 nm from the airport? I tried using the save flight feature in MSFS but when I reload it all goes crazy and I am overspeeding by about 100 knots on loading. I know that the PMDG T7 is a very complex plane so I didn't really think that the MSFS save could freeze all the necessary parameters. Any advice on the best way to save flights on approach? Thanks.

I installed the update yesterday, enabled the PMDG 738 pax loading option, then this morning set out to fly the plane and now get this. Someone on PMDG forum mentioned this happened to him and disabling the feature in GSX resolves the issue thankfully:

Yesterday i made a flight to lowi with the fenix. The ATC told me the approach to 08 using rnavZ 08 but when i inserted it into FMC the flighplan doesn’t finish at runway 08 , it finishes a waypoints before the runway i am using last navigraph cycle anyone knows why the flightplan doesn’t finish at runway?

hey guys, i really need some help here. ive followed all the videos including twotonemurpheys video on getting rid of stutters. deleted all the cache folders, gone through the Nvidia settings, just updated drivers etc. I CANNOT get rid of this rhythmic micro stutter. I never used to have it, then Sim update 15 was forced on me, now my system runs like an old amd on fsx...its ridiculous! I posted a screenshot (hoping maybe it will help) where at the top, you can see the red lines..thats the micro stutter...its a /...../...../...../...../ and nothing seems to have an affect on it. Does anyone know why the Experimental Replay function is not saved (I click apply and save in General Options menu) and I have to do the same procedure every time I start the sim? I click General Options-->Experimental-->Replay Tool ON, Apply and save and the icon appear on default toolbar. Next time I launch the sim the icon is not present anymore and have to redo all the steps above. Any help ver yappreciated, Ric

One thing that lacked in FSX was freeware. Any freeware that existed was extremely low effort. It's the main reason so many converted over to X-Plane. FSX not by design, but the community was extremely wall gardened and protected for the return on investment commercial developers got from it and freeware was almost rebelled against minus a few exceptions (SunSkyJet for example). X-Plane on the other hand, while it had many commercial addons, it was largely based on the pool of freeware. I've mentioned before about the issue of doing a back to back flight and then returning to your original airport to no AI traffic with FSLTL (for example EGLL-LGAV-EGLL). Today, I thought I'd try an experiement. Started at iniBuilds EGLL with FSLTL no problem (lots of taxiing aircraft, take offs, landings). I left EGLL and flew to LGKR (Corfu). Left Heathrow with lots of traffic, had a lot en route and similarly had a lot on arrival at LGKR. Left Corfu and had lots of traffic en route back to Heathrow. Say you are taking off on a hot day from Flagstaff, AZ (7014 ft, 2138 m), is it not wise to use High supercharger setting on takeoff in steam gauge planes such as the Constellation or DC-6? Please give reason(s), thank you.

Did it's update a day or two ago and now launching a fresh boot at KSBA the exterior of the plane is missing at the gate--only the VC is present more or less. From the external view I can see just the cockpit framework. Any other thoughts besides delete and reinstall the plane?

Guess I am the only one still flying the 737 tonight, or trying to. However I am getting a really weird bug, making it impossible to fly. On load up, the control column of both pilots are fully left and right, there is a weird glitch where the power switches are protruding through the stoppers, and I cannot press any button or do anything at all. The frame rates are also really sluggish too. I have restarted the flight, the sim, reinstalled the aircraft, and it is still exactly the same. It was doing this intermittently, now it is doing it all the time.

I've just spent a couple of hours trying out the last of the amphibious planes that I had not tested out previously: the Pilatus PC-6 on floats. I've now spent at least 1 hour flying all of the amphibious planes that come with MSFS, and one that I downloaded from a third-party site. Hi, This IS NOT a topic to bash one or the other (please) as they’re both great addons. I’ve spent the day flying the A300 on a route I fly often (UK to Paphos, Cyprus and back). The A300 really “feels” like a big aircraft, especially evident on the ground but also when hand flying - and landing back into my base with a 10knot crosswind, it felt great in the flare as I took the crab away with my rudder pedals. I understand that the A300 perhaps uses some of the newer tech available in MSFS, and if so what do people think the chances of this coming to the PMDG 737 etc?
