Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I'm on 3.0.7 GSX and everything works fine except one thing! if start flight at the ramp/stand, after cargo and crew loaded, passenger bus never arrives! I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong, or perhaps there are settings that I'm missing. In contrast, if start at the gate everything works as expected . Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks!

Just after I had updated Win11pro, launching MSFS gives an error: "ffx_fsr2_api_x64.dll was not found .... reinstalling the program may fix this problem". Never had a problem like this. Maybe it is pure coincidence but it happened directly after a Windows update. Restarting the PC/MSFS did not help. I really don't want to reinstall :-(( after error confirmation more errors follow: "amd_ags_x64.dll" and "GFSDK_Aftermath_Libx64.dll" are missing too .. What the *** has happened here?

Cuious if anyone here is using these 3 apps and how well they play nicely together during your flights? Are there any conflicts? Because I know the Fenix A320 has built in support for GSX out of the box and it works pretty well. But if you throw the other 2 in the other mix, do they work well together?

Hello all, A quick one for you. I wish to create a new flight Cold and Dark start at a jetway or just parked. I am wanting to learn the Airbus and as such wish to create a cold and dark start and save it so that I can select this flight, get into VR and learn how to start and fly the aircraft as realisticly as possible. If I can creat this scenerio and save it, I can then practice all the procedures in VR. I know it is not hard to create a cold and dark start on the ramp or jetway etc but to have the same flight available without having to set it up each and every time would be immensely practical for me. Hi all Whenever I land with autobrakes on, the Fenix always comes to a complete halt on the runway and I'm trying to find a way to disconnect them while still rolling. With the PMDG 737 I quickly tap the toe brakes a couple of times which disconnects the autobrakes, but this doesn't seem to work for the Fenix. Can anyone advise what the best/correct method is for this aircraft? Thanks

I am currently using AAO to bind certain functions of the Fenix A320 to my keyboard. Is there a way to temporarily disable it? Because during a long flight I would often times use my current machine to surf internet and do other things that require the keyboard and if AAO is on then it will interfere with me typing. Which is why I want a quick way to disable it while I'm surfing, so that my key presses do not interfere with the functions of the plane.

I have just ordered two airport addons via the Contrail App, but there was a problem during checkout, and it stalled on "Processing". Now the order has vanished altogether (as I rebooted the Contrail App to see if this would resolve the issue), and I do not have download links to either of the products. I have no idea if payment has been taken or not. I have contacted support regarding this, so hopefully they will be able to sort it out. For the record, I only have one account and email address with Contrail, so that line of troubleshooting can be dismissed.

Finally got it up and running w/ airline sound packs and international voice packs. This is really a well thought thru product obviously a huge amount of work went into it. It must have taken 10x the work PACX did. It's integration w/ GSX works quite well. There is some learning curve, some potential for crashes if you hit a wrong button at the wrong time, but overall it's been quite effective to add a lot of ambience to airliner flights. Cheers

Hi I refer to this very nice guide and I wonder if this is basically still valid after the AIG major model update in August 2023. I have an old version, would like to update it and I see that the software is much more user friendly now. However, I want to be sure that the settings in MSFS are the same as before: "Launch MSFS and set Aircraft Traffic Type to Off (so NOT to AI Online or Offline!), AI Aircraft Traffic Density to 50 (or whatever you like), Ground Aircraft Density to 0 (to avoid random traffic!) and Use generic aircraft models (AI traffic) to Off." Could you please confirm it to me? THX

GSX will not interact properly with the Fenix A320 since the most recent update. It won't start loading the aircraft. I have done several reinstalls of the Fenix and several updates of GSX to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Lee

Hi , i made a very bad call a couple of days ago and tried to merged my partion resulting in a very bad situation. I have a Windows KB update lately that just will not update proberly because my recovery partion is to small. Never the less i tried some suggestions and again might have done something wrong. Normally i would re-install from an old system image without issues but this time i was not allowed because of some UEFI/BIOS related stuff. I did succeded by turning off boot security and UEFI Windows after 4 hours. . My main question is really if you also have to reinstall all aircraft from Fenix ,A2A , PMDG after this ? I thought I'd pop my issue on here before going over to the PMDG forum, just to see if there is an obvious cause that I may have missed. Basically, the nav display is not working with any of the buttons or rotaries. The buttons and switches can be seen moving on the EFIS in the VC, but nothing is happening on the ND itself. This has only appeared since SU15. I've done a bit of searching around but can't find anyone else reporting a similar issue. Any ideas welcome.

Hi guys, World Updates also supply you with upgraded/better quality airports. If you have that airport from a 3rd party developer is it safe to uninstall the Microsoft version or are there dependencies?

The question is in the title. With how you fly MSFS, is where you fly to the point you depart from with your next flight. As in real world?

After the last update the town is very nice. I have testet the impact on fps over London after the update, and I find that on my system I get better frames now than before. Taking off from EGLC I have steady 30+ fps both at the airport and over Central London flying the TBM 930. But when I start a flight from EGSS I now have less ,15-18 fps. When I fly towards Central London,the frames increase to 25+/-, and when I land at EGLC it is 25-30 fps. I wander if I am the only one experience this, or is it the normal behavior of the sim after the update? Tor Arild Danielsen

With help from several sources, I've finally managed to bang together a working custom RNP (AR) approach in the new PMDG navdata format, including RF legs etc. Figured I'd show it here as a proof of concept; it can be done, and in the end it isn't even all that hard, there's just a few conventions you need to understand. This is a real-world procedure, the first RNP (AR) approach ever built anywhere in fact - which made it seem appropriate to experiment with - to RW26 in PAJN. Hi all, when I inject FSLTL traffic my screen flashes and flickers - more noticeable if I look at the bright sky and/or in the morning and evening, but is persistent no matter the "camera angle" - even in cockpit. It's obviously very annoying. I will attach a link to a YouTube video I have made in reference to this problem. I have to switch back to the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle while my other throttle I use gets repaired. I haven't used it in a while and when I plugged it in and loaded the profile, everything worked as usual except I couldn't get the thrust levers to move in the sim. When I went to the power management page in the settings screen, I was able to get the axis to show movement. What can I look into in order to get movement of those axis'. Like I mentioned, starting switches, spoilers, flaps, parke, etc. worked normally. THanks!
