I have noticed a definite improvement in the grass lately. Take a look at this. Different types of grass, variations in height, thickness, color etc. Non-uniform grass. Patchy grass in dry areas. Short light grass near dirt paths. Top job that. Greazer.

this is the one thing I have the least amount of info on. The best I've heard so far is fsdreamteam saying that the afcad has been enhanced from a scenery point of view. I know live traffic is an option, but how live is it. I havnt heard any specifics on that, and im also wondering if ai behavior has been improved in any way.

Currently, I don't have the hardware to run MSFS 2020, but I'll be putting together a new rig beginning of next year. Will be purchasing MSFS 2020 in January/February 2021. For those folks not buying on release day, what's your estimated table for purchasing MSFS 2020?

This sim is going to be epic. X-Check says that he was on medium settings....medium....and it still looks good.

It seems like you can change the controls to operate in both a linear and non linear fashion, allowing for exponential ramping up to full control deflection. Hopefully this stops people from complaining the aeroplanes are too twitchy and unstable!

AVSIM should archive this forum (and all it's unfounded speculation) at 10:00 AM (Pacific time) August 18. Then there will be no confusion between fantasy and the actual sim.

I understand live weather will be best to fly on vatsim to get appropriate and same weather between you and the controller but what about traffic and group settings?

just wondering if anyone here has tried it in Alpha or Beta and what it looks like and what settings you used.

Was wondering if you get the base version through Steam, not the free xbox game pass one, the standard purchase one, will you be able to upgrade it later to the Deluxe versions etc? Is this via Steam or some other way? Cheers, Simon

I wonder what the download speeds will be on release day when everyone downloads the game at the same time. It is 2020 and Microsoft doesn't allow you to preload the sim before launch day... Going to be fun waiting for half a day to download.
