  1. Can anyone post a screengrab of a cockpit or 2 in 1080p? Just curious to see how good the instruments are to read, etc...Since I will be flying in 1080p and have to wait 3 more days its killing me LOL!

  2. Balkans: Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia And other question is more regarding what is possible, how airports can look in future if they would have 1000x more budget than right now: Would you want a payware airport which dose not look like in RL, but is a better version of that airport? We all know some airports in RL which are just old and bad. Imagine them being upgraded in msfs. Ex. Would you pay money for a airport which has the runway on a bridge, and the cross taxiways are under the runway in a tunnel? So in short a efficient airport without waiting in front of runways like in flat airport.

What should we expect for the install. Just push a few buttons and wait for a really long time or can we start the game after a short download? What happens if the install fails? The actual install always scares me the most. Also the usual HD prep should be done I suppose. Did WIN 10 squawk for any of the alpha / beta testers? Remember - just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they are not out to get you. Cheers bs

I know next to nothing about the SDK so forgive the lack of knowledge, but if I were to build a model of something and import it, using the SDK, would I then be able to test how that model works in the actual sim itself? Or am I relegated to only testing it in an SDK environment?

Hi there, I am wondering about the options for historical weather in the sim as the title suggests. I've only seen two options (again I may have missed it) but there appears to be an option for real time live weather, or custom weather. The idea being that if there was some particular type of weather say on a Tuesday, but life gets in the way and you don't get a chance to go flying until say Wednesday, would historical weather be an option? Similar to how Active Sky can inject historical weather or tie into the date and time set in the sim? If I set sim date and time to my desired date and time would the weather be accurate? Realistically I will likely be f…

Has there been any info / videos shared on the performance impact of AA (particularly as other sims struggled if cloud coverage density increased)? Also any word on whether DLSS rendering has been put forward by Asobo? Cheers and thanks Edit: Does look like TAA is supported which is good

Providing feedback/bug reports for a large technical piece of software with a very large dataset like MFS is not best served by a free-for-all on a forum. It is far better captured through dedicated software or web portals (consider Bohemia Interactive's feedback tracker; https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/) Do we know yet; i) what will be the mechanism for reporting feedback/bugs ii) the level of detail they want For instance, if we notice a beach umbrella stuck in a hotel balcony (as I saw in one beta video), is that worthy of reporting? It would be great to get a steer from Asobo on just what they would like us to report and if they have a…

We have heard a lot about Asobo having their Azure AI to generate non photogrammetry cities and areas. Now in the latest parner ship video there's a "new" player, called Blackshark, in the game. What and how do they differenciate from each other or what does Azure do and what does Blackshark do? I have seen the videos about it, but I still don't get it. Yes, I may be a slow learner, so please explain it to me in a " for dummies" way.

  10. So I was watching Chewwy's stream earlier today and he had really, really bad FPS for the 787. He was getting from 25 to 30 FPS usually on ground and even during takeoff on 2K resolution. Chewwy is using an Intel i9-9900K, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, and 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, so he does have a higher end computer. There was heavy cloud cover earlier so that may have impacted his FPS. Chewwy then worked with the chat to optimize his settings in the game but after optimizing his settings, he tried some GA aircraft that improved his FPS. It's uncertain whether the optimization he did to the settings or whether switching to GA aircraft improved his FPS. He then flew the A320 later …

  14. Sebastian Wloch, Asobo CEO, has posted early this morning a tweet carrying the EP3 video. I see it as an answer to the questions raised in several forums about the aerodynamics. I posted a follow-up tweet asking whether he could confirm that the default aircraft were built that way or with the FSX legacy architecture as some say. I like the reactivity of these guys.

Hi all, Wanted to ask a quick question that perhaps anyone in the alpha or beta groups might be able to answer, as I haven't seen this covered in any video so far. We've seen demos of the built in flight planner which looks pretty good and has SID and STAR support which we haven't had previously. Does it support the North Atlantic Track system? The flight planners built into previous version of FS didn't natively and so you had to use an external planner like PFPX etc. Just wondered if you try and plan a route across the pond using High Altitude Airways whether it actually plots a route and selects an appropriate NAT track? Thanks

Hi, I was just thinking of the new sim - that happens very often lately - and I get an idea or was hoping for something. Wouldn't it be cool, when we had real NOTAMS? At least when flying online - or even offline- this feature would increase the realism extremely. How do I imagen this: Sometimes the ILS is INOP at airports due to maintenance or several other reasons. So why make the ILS INOP in the sim? As far as I know NOTAMS are standardized, so through AI it should be possible to implement that right? That could be one of the easist implementations. When it comes to stuff like simulating closed taxiways etc. I could imagen that this is more difficult to reali…

  19. There can be situations related to system instability or problems with the OS (virus, registry mess) that make it necessary to uninstall and reinstall the flightsim software. Let's say that I want to reinstall MSFS for whatever reason. Does it mean that I have to download the entire flight sim all over with its 80+ GB of data? I have a limited internet connection that only gives me 50 GB per month, so I would hardly make it halfway through. With P3D and most ORBX sceneries, you have the option to download the install files, which you can store on an external hard drive and avoid a redownload if you want to reinstall them later. Using MS Store or Steam, is it possibl…

Again, my curiosity... I went for Standard, because I really don't mind about the default aircraft or the detailled airports ( I will use MFS in LOW settings while not able to get a new rig, because I really don't think my rather outdated rig can do much better than that... ). Thank you for taking the time to answer !

Judging from the feedback snapshot and the recent interview, the rather buggy car traffic was not mentioned. I find it to be a big immersion killer (even more so than the big trees) and great looking car traffic a very strong immersion enhancer, especially at night. Wasnt live ship traffic in the works as well?
