Not sure if I should have this setting on or off?

Before the first update everything worked great, could hear the atc loud and clear. Then after first update it either could not hear anything..static crackle when speech occured ...or you could hear it ..barely. Tried changing to microsoft offline ..still same ..checked language was correct ...seen a few other posts with same issue. Now after this recent big update was hoping it would work, but same thing .Getting extremely frustrating!! What to do?? By the way...before that last big update I reinstalled also ..that did not work either. Sound is through a Logitech G533 headset. All other games work fine through it??

Well I experienced my first CTD since Day 1 last night. Decided it was time to check out the area around Skardu (airport for the K2 Base Camp), so set up a flight with the A320 (Modded). Taxied out to the runway. Attempt No.1, on takeoff roll I found the engine power was fluctuating slightly, put it down to the altitude (7320 ASL). For you experienced simmers - do typical aircraft model add-ons address or improve the quirky/twitchy control inputs and responses (that are not really improved by the sensitivity sliders) that we seem to be stuck with in the stock AC? Or are the add-ons incapable of overriding the original code? Yes, I would also like to see more realistic behavior models, but mostly, for now, I would like to just fly aircraft that responded smoothly to the controls. Thanks

Both GPUs activate, and distribute the gpu load across the two 2080ti cards that I had installed. the cpu is i9-10900k the memory is 64g. 3200 ddr4. the sim detected ultra during setup, and I left it at that. We will see what New York does at a later date, and move sliders if needed. Nvlink is not SLI, which I doubt is enabled for this sim. It is only available on rtx2080 cards, Titan, and Quadros, as far as I know.

Hi guys... ok givens... using default ATC.. 4 mods installed, all airports, all from commercial devs.. no mods for garmin or anything else. flying in the UK.. have definately only had this problem today, not just since 1.9.3.. no files needing update according to content manager.. Today being 6th October. upto today... set up ifr flight in sim planner... select low altitude airways.. set altitude in the nav section.. go fly... airport atc gives me ifr clearance instructions to altitude ( as set in sim prior to flight) prior to takeoff.. hands me over to either London or manchester depending on area... flight continues until atc hands me off to …

Visually challenged, the 2020 icon is difficult to see. Is it possible to change it to something like the fs2004 Icon?

Looking at the FPS display of the dev mode next to each one there is latency measurements. In my case the CPU is much lower than the GPU. around 10ms compared to around 18ms of the GPU. Is this the correct balance ? Or in order to avoid some stutters i should try to bring those numbers closer to each other and they will work more balanced ?

I just spent a couple of days trying to figure out why I could get no successful search accomplished on the world map. Sometimes there were not anything presented on the world map. Today I was asking myself, "what could I have done to cause this?'. Well I found the problem. I had used the tall buildings fix that I had ran across. Trying to figure out specifically how to install it, I must have guessed wrong. All I had ended up with to put in the Community folder was the folder PPG. A while ago I remembered to nuke it from the Community folder before starting MSFS, guess what happened? That's right, I can now "Search" again, to my hearts content. Thanks for the listen…

In low altitude the effects of high LOD on the CPU are quite drastic. With higher altitude when no 3D objects are part of the calculation we should at least have crisp terrain/scenery. Its the same as with that addon P3D have changes the FFTF on the go.

I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong from a procedural standpoint, or if it is an autopilot bug. When flying the C208, I hand fly takoff, get the plane trimmed with a climb of about 700-900fpm, get the flaps retracted, then engage autopilot. I have heading mode selected with the current heading set, with either FLC or VS selected. For FLC, I've tried various speed settings anywhere from 95kts to 125kts. For VS, I've tried +700-900fpm. Each time I engage autopilot, the plane wants to take a nose dive. I man-handle it until the autopilot "catches up" with my settings, then things get under control - sort of. A2A has files for each aircraft showing hours flown. Does MSFS contain anything similar?

I ran into the issue to not being able to load any pln-files created in Little Navmap. It's my first time to use a flightplanning tool alongside MSFS, so no tries with flightplan-files from different tools yet. I created a flightplan following the tutorial found in the LNM manual. Since the by-default format LNMPLN is not recognized by MSFS (not showing up in the selection box when trying to load a plan), I figured I'd export the flightplan as "MSFS PLN." It's showing up then, but when I click to open it, simply nothing happens. It just returns to the map view with no airports selected or waypoints showing up. What am I missing? Thanks!

Just wondering is the Longitude the only aircraft in the sim locked down by Asobo? I'm seeing landing light fixes among other things for other aircraft but it appears little to nothing can be done with the Longitude. I'm surprised we have third party liveries for it.

Is there a way to choosee a faster alignment time for the IRS when starting up from cold and dark? I have looked through the code and have not found it. Thanks, John

I read in some thread here that the sensitivites had been fixed in the latest patch, and some suggested setting sensitivites back to 100%. That was working great for them. "Ok, kewl, Im gonna try that" I thought, especially since I am trying to get to the bottom of the left wing dip on flare on the airbus. Perhaps the sensitivites play a role there? Who knows, anyway... So I have just set my main control sensitivities to a 100%, and I find the way they behave quite surprising. Hello everyone, I am having problems getting the new patch installed. I have the microsoft store version installed. After the patch was released, an update on the microsoft store was available of about 600mb, which i installed. When starting the sim, after the press any key, the sim is checking for updates, but then continues and just starts without updating. To force the sim to update, i temporarily moved out some core packages, the sim then initiates an update, but only to the older 1.7 version. The install manager seems to work fine, but there is no mention of a newer update being available (except the update on the store package). I also tried starting the…
