October 4, 20205 yr I ran into the issue to not being able to load any pln-files created in Little Navmap. It's my first time to use a flightplanning tool alongside MSFS, so no tries with flightplan-files from different tools yet. I created a flightplan following the tutorial found in the LNM manual. Since the by-default format LNMPLN is not recognized by MSFS (not showing up in the selection box when trying to load a plan), I figured I'd export the flightplan as "MSFS PLN." It's showing up then, but when I click to open it, simply nothing happens. It just returns to the map view with no airports selected or waypoints showing up. What am I missing? Thanks!
October 5, 20205 yr You cannot load lnmpln into anything except LNM. Main purpose for this format is to avoid limitations that appear with other formats. Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 6, 20205 yr You have to save it in the msfs format. Does anyone even pay attention anymore? There are options to save for XP, p3d, msfs, vpilot etc

The FSX/P3D PLN does halfway work in MSFS but does not transmit procedures. You also have to consider AIRAC cycle differences and if you installed the Navigraph navdata beta or not. You need to load the MSFS PLN before you start your flight, So from the main lobby load it from there, then select your parking bay at the departure airport then select fly. For some reason(maybe a bug) MSFS will not load the pln from an active flight via the folders procedure.

Alex SimBrief has a MSFS 2020 export feature. They included it just after initial release. I use it all the time. See at 7:16 ->

Alex Yes the new beta that was released last week has a msfs export format. That's what I've been using

Will have a look what they're doing. 1 hour ago, airlinejets said: I can't find this option to export MSFS .pln FSX/P3D are there but not MSFS. Maybe the name is irritating 🙃 (ignore the paths - Linux development system). Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

October 6, 20205 yr Here is a flightplan with SID STAR and all from LNM and SimBrief (LNMPLN also included). Both load fine into LNM and MSFS. All generated with cycle 2010. https://we.tl/t-9AEsJQU07x But I have the Navigraph update installed. So all my stuff in LNM and MSFS is consistent on cycle 2010. You have to expect problems if there are differences. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
