  1. I already added an optional precision mode for the next release which uses more accuracy for distances and courses in the measurement lines. This also covers the radial. This feature is intended for scenery or procedure developers. I doubt this makes sense for flying. The two numbers you see are the start and end course of the Great Circle line (Measure Distance). These appear for long measurement lines. Alex
  2. Looks different here. The wind barbs are normally much bigger. Go to options on page "Map Display" and change the size back to 100 percent. Alex
  3. No. Either there is already a stock airport/helipad or an add-on providing one. I cannot change the limitation which is entirely simulator based. Most simulators cannot place you at an arbitrary coordinate. You can move your aircraft to the position in the sim (dragging on the simulator map?) and still use LNM for flight following. Alex
  4. That's the limitation I forgot to mention. While LNM can deal with such plans most simulators and add-ons can not. You need an airport add-on to start from there. Alex
  5. The userpoints are a special thing. LNM does not "know" if such a point is an airport or not. But you can add arbitrary points to a flight plan anyway. You can right-click on a userpoint and select "Add/Append position to flight plan". LNM will create a user defined waypoint in the plan taking the user point name. You will even get an elevation profile if you have the GLOBE data installed. You can click anywhere on the map and add the position to the plan. Below is a "plan" from a userpoint "Helipad" to a point on the map. Alex
  6. Deselect "Map Tooltips" -> Airspaces on the shown page to disable this one. Alex
  7. Options -> "Map Tooltips and Clicks". You can also disable tooltips for the whole application In "Display and Text". Alex
  8. A copy protection system. DRM (Digital Restriction Management). Alex
  9. Maybe a problem with DRM: https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap-faq.html#no-airport-msfs Alex
  10. The above is related to the calculated flight profile. https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/PROFILE.html#tooltip-label Alex
  11. MSFS 2020 and 2024: totally different handling there by LNM. MSFS 2024 will read these navaids and will deliver them through SimConnect to LNM. Provided, these navaids are linked to a procedure or the airway system. Yet another limitation of the MSFS 2024 interface. MSFS 2020: LNM reads all from BGL files (which are not officially documented, BTW). Alex
  12. Yes. If you read the MSFS 2020 scenery library database. Not for 2024. The '24 is a completely different animal since I'm forced to read all through SimConnect (with all its limitations 🙁). Alex
  13. Excluding or including does nothing for MSFS 2024. Exclusions by path do not work because MSFS 2024 does not provide any paths via SimConnect. LNM does not read BGL files from MSFS 2024. Sorry, I'm completely dependent on Asobo's SimConnect interface and this lacks a lot. 🤷‍♂️ Alex
  14. Strange. LNM can always load PLN files. This cannot be disabled. Anyway, glad it's working now.🙃 Alex
  15. Ok. Take your time. Either there is a bug in the plans and/or I have to make LNM more tolerant when reading plans. Alex
  16. Or upload the PLN file here: https://filetransfer.io Alex
  17. LNM can save and load this format without problems here. Alex
  18. To answer the question: to get a PLN into a LNMPLN: Load the PLN from "File" -> "Open". Save it as LNMPLN. Alex
  19. I need the file or the contents of the file since I suspect the file is broken. PLN is just a text format. Copy it or drag the file into a text editor the and paste it here as described in my link above. What kind of PLN is this anyway? FSX? MSFS 2020? MSFS 2024? What program did save the file? A simulator? Another tool? LNM? Alex
  20. Can you post the contents of the flight plan file here (https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/605519-how-to-post-a-screenshot-or-files/)? Alex
  21. LNM can read quite a few flight plan formats including PLN. Simply use "File" -> "Open". See here for details: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/FLIGHTPLANFMT.html Do you get a specific error message? Maybe the file is malformed. Alex
  22. Not doable. The elevation profile has a separate trail since it relates to the flight plan. A loaded trail is only shown on the map. You can use tools like Google Earth or others to look at the trail elevation. Alex
  23. You can change the paths for the listed entries but you cannot create new entries. Alex
  24. Sorry, but no. It's too much work for a feature that I don't think is useful at all. Alex
