I'm using the Pico 4 as my first VR headset and really enjoying it in MSFS. I am looking at possibly picking up the Varjo Aero for improved visuals but the one concern I have is the vertical FOV which many say is reduced from the likes of the Quest and Pico series. Has anyone mad a similar upgrade and can comment on this? Does it have a noticeable impact?

Hi guys, Been flying VR for a while now and just love it... My question is...is the scale of the cockpit (A320) 1:1 as to real life? I often wonder if things are a bit small? Could be my misconception of things as havent been in a real A320 cockpit to compare... Any ideas? Cheers

Hi I'm not a rookie on WMR/ Game Bar, but I have a rookie question/challenge. When wearing the Reverb G2, I can use voice to start and stop a recording and also take a screenshot. For the latter, the voice command is 'Take a Picture'. And it does - but there's a problem: Yes - quite There must be a way of avoiding this? All suggestions gratefully received.

IPD is 56-72 will fit more head sizes. 4K resolution on each eye. No controllers necessary, but they are included with the headset. No subscription like Varjo used to charge. 4 thousand pounds is the price.

Hi guys! Well, it happened! I finally tried VR. I rented quest3 for the weekend. Well what can I say... It's a game changer fro me! Yes, a complete feeling of presence in the cabin. Before that, I flew with a trackIR and noticed that the VCs on airplanes didn’t quite look like they did in real life. For example, in 2D PMDG the visor looks too short. And in VR everything is like in real life. Well, these are minor things. Installed Oculus software. Downloaded openXR toolkit. I ran the sim via cable link and was disappointed with the graphics. Resolution too low. I tried to change the resolution in the toolkit, but the computer cannot handle it. Although, it seems that my…

Hi, my G2 has died and while HP told me they are doing another batch early next year I'm dubious. I gather the Quest 3 is the closest equivalent and an improvement in many ways, but I gather it requires a more powerful GPU. Would I see a noticeable reduction in performance over my G2 with my 3090, or alternatively would I need to downgrade the graphics to the point that it would not be any improvement? Thanks

I just started instrument rating training a month ago with my CFII instructor and have done six flights and about eight RNAV approaches so far. After getting how real instrument flight feels and is done, I started using MSFS + VR for practicing. I have to learn a little bit to get the weather preset right (like 300-500AGL clouds, low visibility, wind etc). I also have a GNS530W setup bought and my DIY USB box with six dual-knobs configured through MobiFlight. With this simple setup, I'm having fantastic experience practicing instrument flights in MSFS - it's almost every bit as real as my training with foggle on. The major and obvious drawback is that with G2 on I c…

Hi there, I have always 30 fps even into the menu, there is no fps lock anywhere. The game is almost unplayable. Someone can help me with some troubleshooting ? My rig is Ryzen 5 5600x, 32gb ram, dedicated m.2 pciex 1tb hdd, rtx 3080ti, reverb G2. This pc is dedicated to sim, only fs2020 and dcs. I use no mods. no settings in ncp, only openxr toolkit, almost all high settings. I use afterburner with a mild oc, no ctd at all. Please help

I have this little red rectangle floating in my VR headset. It is showing something about the CPU/GPU usage. For the life of me, I have NO idea how it got there (I am sure I turned in on and don't remember) or how to get rid of it. It is not the Developer FPS box. It only shows in VR, not on monitor view. Anybody know what this is, and more importantly, how the heck I can get rid of it?

  21. Hello, Folks The VR world has been always interesting to me. But at the moment I am still a 2D user though. Have been watching many vids on youtube regarding the VR sets and I was attracted by Varjo Aero. But the thing cost too much. Just recently Varjo announced the price drop for the product and I started thinking on getting the thing. But still in a bit of hesitation... Could you tell me what the steps would be after I get the VR? Is the Open XR necessary for use or Varjo native software is enough? I heard that some new editions of VR should come up in the market. Should I wait for those or Varjo Aero is good enough to completeley enjoy it? …

Hope to try some changes to this at the weekend . seen a few utube videos on the subject and settings vary from 70-90% but can’t see any specific recommendations for the quest 2. Any owners have any settings you can recommend I try out first using the open X-ray toolkit? I seem to remember changing settings about a year ago as text on the edges of the flight loading screen were a little blurry. However they are clear again now so something has reset it and I stupidly didn’t write down any settings I had changed to. Any tips greatly appreciated

  25. This might be more of a general sim thing but its most noticeable on the aero in vr. For my tests i have the varjo aero set to 45 fps motion smoothing mode. I simply do a short route from laguardia in the a320, then slew slightly toward central park. At first i thought if i disabled certain scenery elements (and i have a lot, close to 1TB) that this drop i saw wouldnt occur. Basically as nearing central park from say 3000 feet, the fps goes from a steady 45 to 30 or 22 even, then back up. A few times after unselecting certain scenery i managed to have it not do the drop, so i thought i was narrowing in on a scenery related solution, but eventually i concluded its…
