I see just flight has a really nice reduction on this in their sale. Does anyone fly this in VR? What do you think of it ? I ve been using the A2A Comanche to fly around world but could do with something a little bit faster occasionally 😂 Any thoughts appreciated

Because it isn't very good. I had a Reverb G2 with its celebrated audio pods. My Audio Tecnica M40 headset sounded much better. So I just jammed it over the VR headset and used that for audio. (The M40 are just an average hifi headset, nothing great. But so much better than the audio from any VR headset). With my new Crystal Light I use a set of bluetooth phone earpods like most everyone who plays music on a phone. They are tiny and don't require removal when taking the VR headset off. They all have decent mics too. $20 to $300 is what people pay nowadays. I don't use a pilot's headphones in 2D either. Would be too cumbersome unless it's wireless. $20 ht…

Have picked up the Just Flight Hawk ( what a superb aircraft in VR) its a steal in the sale! I tend to like GA single props as easy to start planes for someone of my ageing years , and have started learning the Hawk in 2D watching a utube video how to start it etc. Is it possible to somehow watch a U tube video as well as being in VR so as to do the actions as I am watching it? Anything freeware out there any one can recommend? I know I can use the checklist, but its nice to see where the switches etc are that you are looking for,

I am noticing a major lag in graphics response after switching in & out of VR with this airplane. Switch in to VR and it works fine. However, switch back out to 2D, the frames are lagging and looking around the cockpit is slow and sticky like slow motion. This is a brand new corei9 / 4070 setup and all other airplanes work fine, including the Fenix A320, PMDG 738 and Horzn 789. I hadn't seen this behavior until flying the 773 over the last couple of days. Feels like a memory leak or something. Once I kill the WMR process, all is reverted back to normal. Ideas ? anyone else noticing this ?

So, good news I think is that there are plenty of sun visors in the cockpit. Don't know about you guys, but i can't stand that being ommited in VR Somehow getting the feeling that the cockpit is a bit too small in VR, similar to their 737. Perhaps needing a 5-10% increase in world scale.... not sure. Long trips in the 777 so there's a need to kill the time. Taking a businessclass seat I see large tv screens. How long will it take before we can see an inflight entertainment system so I can watch a movie on a 2d screen in that cabin? Login with your streaming service account etc...:)

Hello all, As some of you may know, I recently upgraded my computer to include CPU AMD 7800x3d, RAM 32gb x 6000, GPU AMD RX 7900xtx, and a new 2TB NVMe m.2 SSD. To make a long story short, the mother board failed and took out my CPU as well. I replaced these and have now spent many, many, many hours trying to make a flight with VR.. Really conflicted with my set up 3080rtx on a i7 12700k would love the crystal but am I going to pay nearly double than the quest 3 for little difference? ……… sooooo undecided any feedback from any one with a 3080 would be really appreciated on either headset dont want to buy a new GPU 😎🙏

Started happening after the last service update. It'll be working fine for a long time then the display will go black for a second or two and start displaying properly again. 5-10 seconds later, it will do it again. After that, it doesn't do it for a long time. It's a Reverb G2, Win10, 3070Ti. I think it's something other than the headset because other stuff works fine with no weird blanking. Any idea what's going on?

Now I have the headset running well I am trying to improve the natural look of the sim. I have changed my settings as follows In Performance Tab - Sharpening 100% Appearance TAB Contrast 40 Brightness 30 Exposure 60 Saturation 40 Vibrance 5 Highlights 90 Shadows 30 System TAB Red 50 Green 49 Blue 50 Now I know there loads and loads of combinations of all these settings. All, A little over a year ago I shared a video on the forum showing how I built a Flight Simulator PC for my Dad; and later, a second video of how I bought a Meta Quest 2 to compliment the PC and immerse him into the MSFS2020 virtual cockpit. The results were outstanding! Surprising, not only my Dad but also myself as neither of us had experienced VR in such detail and depth before! However, in recent months I noticed he was using less due to mild eye strain and discomfort from wearing his glasses under the visor. Does anyone know what features are unlocked on the Pimax Light if deciding to make the final payment after the trial period and keep the headset? If I want to evaluate it in MSFS, seems odd to have features disabled? Maybe they're not related to image quality, which is the important thing?

Gosh. After a decent run of error-free VR simming, it seems like MSFS has been throwing everything at me in the past week. Anyone else got the problem that after every full sim shutdown, the VR graphics settings, even after very carefully 'Applying and Saving', nevertheless revert to default? I can hold the settings over multiple flights in a single session, but once I actually shut down (and yes, in the correct way) I find that at the next boot up it's all back to default. Any ideas?

I certainly am... After a decent time (well over a year) of not having to tweak anything more, I'm on the edge of having to start the '1000 settings but which ones will help?!' process all over again. And it's definitely since loading SU15. I've checked to make sure that nothing is untoward in the settings, OpenXR Toolkit, etc.. I've gone back a couple of nVidia driver versions to ones I know were spot on, etc, etc, etc.. The specific stuff that is happening, which wasn't before, is: - an unstable view. I am curious to learn if anyone has tried this and what the verdict is. Is it possible in VR ? are you able to use (hardware) buttons for some of the commands?

My view is shifted laterally while in VR? I'm not turning my head but like the centered view shifts around. Is this a resources issue?
