Title says it. I have tried numerous mice in VR and none of them nmove around consistently allow me to put the cursor where I want and click something. I will be trying to move the cursor and it will freeze and then jump, over and over.

I do not have any VR controllers on. In fact in Pimax Play I have controllerless clicked on.

What are you folks using for a mouse that just works?

	But luckily it was fixable.

I started Steam VR as usual and thought my headset was dying. There was a 45 degree line across the left eye, and artifacts appearing in the corners. Luckily I've got a spare headset so I plugged it in, same problem! So that confirmed that it was software not hardware.

A pc restart didn't help. word not allowed! Then I tried starting the session with the Oasis driver icon on the desktop, and for some unknown reason, success!

So I've now turned off the pc and hopefully when I restart it'll all be back to normal. If not probably just a full reinstall of the Oasis driver will be next.

By the way, my spare headset died but it was the cable. A new cable costs more than a second hand headset, but then I found on Aliexpress a cable for $US70 approx, which works perfectly. So I now have a working headset and a complete spare, which should see me through until 4K headsets come in at sub $1000...

I have learnt that there are som quality issue with this headset which is due to the glas lenses being difficult to get exactly right. So you might ask how big is the risk to get a headset with minor flaws like dead pixels or distorsion in the display ?
Google AI estimate that risk to be about 5-8 % and
Grok AI says it is more like 15-35 % and that Google AI is wrong
It is reasoned that customer with minor flaws do not clain warranty because of the trouble
So my question for Crystal Light customer is. Did you get a headset with minor flaws such as slight distorsion in the display or faulty pixels ?
I now have a HP Reverb G2 and have been considering buying a Crystal Light . But there are several
things that makes me hesitate. Are these valid concerns ?

	1) Is my PC powerfull enough ? My system is CPU 5800X3D RAM 32 Gb Videocard NVIDIA 4070Ti. In Pimax info a 4070Ti is listed as best experience. Can this really be correct ? And nothing is said about the CPU

	2) The price is very high is it really worth it ?

	3) Pimax says it is more uncomforatable and have worse sound than the G2 but there is extra items sold that can help. What are these units and what do they cost ?

	4) It seem the G2 is not going to be obsolate because of WMR being discontinued

	5) are there other options available or will be coming fairly soon

	Hi All,

I'm just trying to get into VR with my Crystal Super QLED 50PPD and whilst I'm able to get reasonable FPS with DLSS Quality and high resolution setting, at night the "glow" around night lights is horrendous. Its like each light, regardless of weather its a taxiway light or the landing lights have a massive ... like...halo effect around them. Thats the best I can describe it as.

Does anybody know if there is a fix for this or something that can help? I've turned down the headset brightness and tried adjusting contrast but that hasn't helped. I'm not sure if this is a Pimax headset issue or a MSFS issue (I have a feeling it's MSFS).

	Any help appreciated...

Hi folks. I don't think my Crystal Light is adjusted properly. I believe I need offset adjustments. But I have read AI instructions for doing it and watched some videos which were old outdated. They talked about using SteamVR bvlack home screen and then adjusting the offsets in Pimax Play using the arrow keys while wearing the headset. I cannot find any way using the new Pimax Play to adjust the offsets using the arrow keys.

Can someone who has adjusted their IPD offsets please explain to me how you did it? I am not liking the clarity of my headset at all right now and I believe it is because it is not adjusted properly.

Please help. I have the crystal light and the newest Pimax Play V2.

I got a free trial of Game Pass so thought I would give 2024 another try (got it on day one and refunded… it was such a mess.) Got everything setup and getting great performance in 2D and VR. However, EVERY TIME I use VR the program crashes to desktop when I hit CTRL-TAB to exit VR. Without fail. It’s like I hit ALT-F4.

Google shows me this was a well-know issue a few months back but I can’t find anyone with a resolution. Is this still happening for everyone or was there a fix? Some said it only happened in Full Screen but it happens for me in Windowed as well, no difference. Very frustrating, as I am ready to upgrade but not at the expense of being able to pop in and out of VR on long flights.

A mini mod from me that is good to hide the VR Controller in the Cockpit. This is required for myself and I think can be helpful anyone that need the same. This mod makes the unneccessary virtual controllers transparent while using hand tracking and/or hand passthrough. Also it is successfull for the use of HTCC (Hand Tracked Cockpit Controls) which lets you to use your hands for the cockpit buttons and knobs. Of course not a perfect solution but we are highly expecting native Hand Controls in VR Cocpit from MS/Asobo and or the 3th party aircraft developers. A link is also below that you can vote for this immersion feature. Thanks.

Wondering if anyone has tried this before - I've got my setup for MSFS2020 working fine, both regular and VR modes. VR is obviously less pretty but still very functional, decent enough FPS. I have some tweaking to do still to fix some pop-in issues when you turn your head, but otherwise not my main concern. Quest 3 headset.

I'm looking to see if its possible to fly from the left seat as normal, not in VR, while my wife sits as a passenger either in the right seat or a back seat, using VR to look around. I only have 1 headset. In VR mode, all my hardware peripherals, the yoke and throttles etc still work fine, so I don't think controls are an issue.

Currently, what's stopping this from working is that when you CTRL+TAB to turn VR mode on, your monitor mirrors the two lenses, making the monitor useless.

Ideally, if I can get this to work for sightseeing, that would be great. Better still if there is a way for her to take controls from the right seat using the VR controllers and also fly, would be a great way to teach/share the hobby.

	Has anyone attempted this?

If you fly in VR but use computer in 2D thru speakers, then built in speakers are best for the headset. But if you, like me, use a headset in 2D computing then a set of ear buds beat the sound of any VR headset. TOZO NC 20 does 12+ hours on the earbuds built in battery. And another 50+ hours in the case. When done, drop the 2 buds in the case and they recharge. I keep the that tiny case velcroed to my desktop. The 50 hours case means you drop the tiny case in your pocket and leave home. You have 12 hours in your ear and then 50 more total hours when you drop the buds in the case and recharge them. 62+hours away from electrical power. These are also one of the few earbuds with a wireless recharging case. And the built in tiny display case screen has some controls.

Although not at the level of detail and switchability (ie, all switches doing something) as, say, Flying Irons aircraft, Aeroplane Heaven are producing some pretty decent WW2 British aircraft (Lancaster; Hurricane and now the DH Mosquito) which generally work very well in VR.

But I'm experiencing a VR problem in the new Mosquito that I don't have in the Lancaster and Hurricane...VR pilot position. In 2D it's fine, but switch to, or start from, VR and it basically spawns me directly behind, and nose against, the pilots armour plating. Before I either log an issue with Aeroplane Heaven or tweak the XYZ in the config file, anyone else having the same issue?

	Hi all,

All the new VR products and VR-related conversations are always focused on pixels density. It's always more and more pixels, all about the image clarity etc... This is very valid, I totally agree that the pixel density is the most important thing for image clarity (with good lenses, etc...), ok ok...

But honestly, in these days, what really irritates me is not the lack of resolution. Instead of more pixels, I'd like a wider view. I'm getting really tired of all these VR headset with that stupid 105/115 degrees FOV. I'm using a Pico4 and I really love that headset, it's great. But just like any other headset, it has a limited horizontal FOV and it's becoming more and more disturbing.

Could anybody tell me what are the headsets, current and future, that are actually offering a nice horizontal FOV ? By "nice", I mean at least 140 or more degrees, something that would feel like I'm not wearing the scuba diving mask I had back when I was 6 years-old ? 🙂

Have to admit: this sounds like a dream for MSFS 2024 VR too. It is clear that extra products are needed for these headsets. To find out which are best to select I have tried Chat GPT and given up there. It recommends a product as best and then changes it to don't buy it. When I ask for Crystal Light products it gives links to Quest 3 and keep repeating this mistake.

So which comfort improving products could be considered as mandatory ? And which one are best to buy ?

After selecting this how would Crystal Light compare to Quest 3 regarding comfort ?

As is the trend of asking AI to do everything I figured I'd ask it what the most natural colour settings are when using a Pico 3 with OpenXR Toolkit and MSFS2024, so I did and RGB values changed in Picture A with default Picture B.
Thoughts?

Amusingly I forgot what the settings were so I asked it again and it came up with completely different values....🤦‍♂️😄 anyway I shall continue to tweak until I find a nice balance, MSFS has always felt a little "flat" to me over the years so it was about time I looked into this area more closely.
