I updated to the latest driver. The notes said tracking was speeded up to improve latency. All I know is that it ruined the tracking on my PCL. I reverted back to the old driver and the problem went away instantly, and tracking has been stable ever since. The driver that is stable for me is PimaxPlaySetup_Release_toC_V1.33.01.01.05_202409271439 The new driver that greatly degrades tracking for me is PimaxPlaySetup_Release_toC_V1.35.02.01.02_202412061738 Your mileage may vary. I advise to keep the drivers for Pimax Play all stored away somewhere. Otherwise I don't know how you could revert to old drivers.

Installed DLSS4 and new Nvidia driver, and for me still a CTD in MSFS2024 as soon as I enter put on my Varjo Aero and switch to VR. Tens of times now last weeks. 2020 performs well.

So after the latest patch I attempted another flight in the Fenix. I still had issues with the toolbar not loading correctly, laggy mouse performance and terrible TAA performance (settled for DLSS Performance preset F as recommended but still a blurry mess Vs TAA). Fair to say at this point Asobo really don't care for VR and better to remain on 2020 for the foreseeable? Soooo frustrating that we've gone backwards after 4 years...

Hi all, bit of a quandary here, I use PSXT Traffic and FSLTL in MSFS 24. ( mostly PSXT). Little navmap shows this traffic in its maps and used to show it in the LNM VR panel but that doesnt seem to work at the moment. Is there an alternative map system that will show that live traffic from PSXT / FSLTL that I can load in a panel in VR. I only fly in VR also. Thanks all

Just thought I'd start a thread for feedback concerning SU1 and VR. 2D users seem to be reporting improvements and although there's nothing in it for VR we at least can know if things are starting to change for the better on this side as well.😐

Hi everyone, Can someone help me interpret the numbers in OXRTK, I just don´t understand what they´re telling me, good, bad? as far as I get it I got lesser load on the GPU, does it mean that I can crank up some of the graphic settings to get it more up to the CPU load or should I try to lower the CPU load? I got pretty good performance in the VR and I barely have stutters. Explain the meaning of all of it like its for a 5 year old please😄. CPU headroom +53% (11.3ms) GPU headroom +29% (6.3ms app CPU: 10ms rdr CPU: 8.1ms app GPU: 15ms vRAM: 7.1GB (64%) CPU Ryzen 7900x GPU RTX 4070ti DDR 5 32Gb 5200mHz

I haven't set up a distinct 2024 profile because I didn't notice one specific to 2024 when I first installed the new sim. Wondering now if I'm running a default profile that's impacting my graphics performance.

I wouldn't be interested… it's essentially a Quest 2 equivalent with MR capability but without the best resolution for flight simming. But perhaps a bargains a bargain? https://www.roadtovr.com/meta-discounts-quest-3s-256gb-by-50-for-limited-time-includes-free-copy-of-batman-arkham-shadow/amp/

Hello, I have recently purchased meta quest 3 with virtual desktop and open xr tool kit. In my Openxr developer it appears as Virtualdesktop runtime and in virtual desktop I have vdxr runtime configured as openxr. On the other hand, before having this problem of my tool kit not working (it doesn't work, not even a line appears in the logs), it worked for me once. The next day I updated the dlss of my simulator (but I have already tried leaving the previous version and it has not fixed anything. I also updated my GPU drivers, but I don't think it's a problem, even so I've reinstalled some older drivers and it still doesn't work. . The fact is that I have already tried I re…

Well, after hours and hours it finalloy loaded in... (now out and cant get back in) Seems i have some tuning to do with the CL...graphics were set to medium using TAA and certainly not smooth... i updated the PP and went to restart the sim but overload on servers so cant test it out.. There is a bit to learn about the sim and it new interface... I cant get the user translation keys to bind so i can adjust my head position in the cockpit... im certainly not blown away at this stage.. more frustrating... cant even calibrate my throttles! Hopefully when MS sorts themselves out, thinsg will pan out better..at this stage no point in trying until ive watched…

Thought I would try airlink with my Quest 2 before going VD. 6 FPS in a default plane at LAX. My Router says Wi fi 6, strong signal excellent connection. But at the side of the image before even going to msfs24 the image is a blur of triangles like something out of the titles of Dr Who !? No idea what that is. Don't get it with link cable. Switched back to link cable 20FPS Switched to MSFS (20) Just Flight Hawk at LAKX 35 - 55 FPS with link cable 2 Hours trying to get MSFS24 to work "useable" just don't have this time at the moment to spare so back to MSFS, my system is not poor so link should give reasonable results one woul…

Happy new year all. I have almost given up on msfs24 in my quest 2. However I think maybe it’s time to try Virtual Desktop as a last resort i have seen posts about this needing a good router. I have just upgraded my broadband to ee wi fi 7 and get download speeds on wi fi of around 500mb Is this ok for this type of set up ? also does vir Desktop work for other apps as well such as F1 23? I have been using the link cable but would be nice to go wireless is it easy to set up ? Any one have aset up guide for dummies link ? 😀 many thanks for any advise

Can you see the MSFS 2024 clickable icon in the SteamVR room? I can see MSFS 2020 listed as one of my recent games in the Steam VR room but NOT MSFS 2024. I normally start MSFS 2020 through the SteamVR room. I'd like to do the same with MSFS 2024. P.S. I posted this question earlier, but I marked it as solved since I was under the impression this was a known problem. Now I'm not so sure. I'm wondering now if I'm the only one with this problem

Hi Pulling my hair out. BATC has been working great for me over the past month or so - and when they introduced Live Traffic, it was still GREAT!! But - coincidentally or not - since Christmas after a small update, switching to VR basically now stops BATC in its tracks. I thought at first it must be BATC itself, but it is definitely when switching to VR. Come out of VR and BATC is instantly working as normal. Thinking it might be a bandwidth/similar issue, I turned off the BATC Live Traffic in its menu this afternoon - and it started working OK. But this evening, even when Live Traffic is off, 2D gives normal BATC and VR gives nothing - no mic ping - the re…

My only issue here concerning the Pimax Crystal Light is, how do you turn it off?😶 There's no option in Pimax Play and holding the top button does nothing.😐

I've had the CL for about a month now. I'm limited in the time I have to play with it but I've got it reasonably well dialed in so that I am getting between 30 and 45 fps in pretty much any scenario. Think that's giving me 60 to 90 fps in the headset with 90hz upscale (lab) if I'm not mistaken. It's smooth anyway except looking to the side near the ground at high speed. I get the odd stutter. I have all the graphics setting on medium and I'm using TAA but I have the render quality at 0.75. I have FFR turned off. Even when its on is says its off in the Pimax Client. But it is on when its on. I don't like it. I can see it in my peripherals and its an immersion killer for me…

I'll be off to the optician in a couple of weeks and I'm gonna get myself a prescription for 1 meter for the purpose of getting lenses for PCL. I don't think Pimax offers Prescription lenses themselves. I just watched the video below and I was surprised that the lenses where inserts and not replacements for the lenses already in the PCL. Any enlightenment from others down this road much appreciated.

Hello, I have recently got the Reverb G2 for MSFS however I can’t figure out how to turn off the Reverb Controller vibration. I am using Lock Mode for Interaction. When the Raycast (Laser Pointer) is pointing at a clickable knob then the controller vibrates which can be quite annoying. There seems to be a way to disable the controller vibration using Steam VR but I only use Windows Mixed Reality not Steam VR as I am using OpenXR. Any help with turning this haptic feedback off will be appreciated, thanks!
