I usually don't buy the same aircraft twice but I now love the Spitfire after the first incarnation in FS2020. It will be interesting to see how another great developer handles producing this amazing WWII fighter. FlightSim.Com - MSFS Spitfire From Aeroplane Heaven On Final

Anyone still experiencing this after the latest update? From my research this was an issue at WU3 territory and the guess was way-points having long names causing it.. ie: The pink GPS line is missing randomly. Sometimes it shows up for certain legs, others.. Nope.

I notice that sometimes the music when MSFS is loading plays smooth, and other times it stalls sometimes up to 4 or 5 seconds before starting. I think it must not be stored in the PC but is streamed from the server, and that may be an indication that the server is overloaded causing all kinds of problems in the sim. Anyone have an idea where this is stored?

Busting through the clouds and breaking out early evening, especially in an airliner (usually FBW A320)! Oh man the immersion is awesome! 🙂

Hi, I have been comparing the trailer to my experience in the Sim. Not sure if I have a problem with my installation but the Sim doesn't look like the trailer or the splash screen. The buildings look nowhere near as detailed in the trailer or the splash screen - as an example, all the roofs look basic rather than being detailed with plant/machinery and the road textures are very poor. I do have the France/Benelux update installed. Sorry, I have tried to a screenshot but have not been able to do so for some reason. Can anyone else post what their sim looks like viewed from the Arc de Triomphe splash screen location - this would help me. Thanks.

Hi all, Simple question: I want this dial to increase or decrease by 1 "unit" when I twist it slowly and do so more quickly when I turn it quickly. Specifically what I'm referring to is the function for when you have the other rotary knob turned to CRS, HDG, etc. Even more specifically than that what I'm trying to do is get it to turn the OBS slowly when I turn the knob slowly and faster when I turn it faster. I've been through a few options with John using FSUIPC7, but I don't think there is really a usable option, because this is just a +/- knob. It's not an OBS (for example) specifically, and all the lua codes or incr/decr offsets in FSUPIC7 are for specific …

I was just doing some investigating and trying to figure out why my GPU gets hammered near runways (like LAX) and Bloom seems to be the culprit. Anyone else notice this or can you verify it? As with everything, it may be just me/my system.

PC specs are 5600x ....32 GB ram...RTX 3070. I download the 160 something GB. However, now it appears stuck on decompressing FS Base CGL for well over an hour and CPU usage is around 15% Should I start over?

As you know ground steering (at least in the TBM and Citation L) changes abruptly as speed gets around 7 or so mph--seems like the turning radius goes from Subaru grade to Stretch Limo as you exceed that threshold. Any way to change this globally, or perhaps mod by mod per plane? Thanks

I'm using the FBW A32NX aircraft. Playing around with RNAV landings. All is going reasonably well. When I get to retard I'm idling power but I seem to float, If I pull back I get some height. I'm setting the temp, wind, QNH etc on the approach screen on the MCDU. Speed is same as on this screen, today 137kts What could I be doing wrong?

I hope someone can help, the FMC on the right side is dark , not showing anything. What did I do wrong? Thanks so much. Bernd

I have the @ key on my keyboard set to toggle co-pilot view and the reset view function mapped to the hat switch on my controller. Since the update 3 things seem to have happened: 1. The sensitivity option seems to have gone from the keyboard in settings. 2. When I press the @ key it is so sensitive that it toggles 2 or 3 times in one quick keypress. 3. The reset view switch no longer works in co-pilot view ( though is still fine in pilot view). Can anyone confirm if ASOBO made changes in the view modes/functions or have any other issues with views or are these issues related just to my rig? Thanks, IAN

My computer crashed while uninstalling a program and now I'm having to redo some things. I used to be able to start MSFS 2020 thru FSUIPC 7. But now I get the ASOBO startup window. Can someone tell me how I can get the window that basically says something to the effect that the "cockpit is being prepared." Thanks for the help.

I seemed to remember reading on here a few months back about someone’s c drive getting full very quickly. Computer is only used for fs2020. Does anyone know what if anything fs2020 adds each time you fly. I have no rolling cache and add ons are on a separate drive.

Hi everyone, I am a big fan of global addons, by that I mean those enhancing the entire globe or big regions like the Zinertek runway textures, AI Ships, or more recently the Airport Regional Environment X by LatinVFR. It's a real shame Seafront Simulations don't provide a worldwide coverage... Do you guys know other addons like these? Thanks!

So, after a couple of months away from the sim, I recently installed the latest updates to see where we are. Loaded LAX and had the A320 fly out of 07L via Ai. It went well for a couple of seconds, however very soon I was getting erratic pauses. I wouldn't call it stutters, the sim was smooth, and these pauses were too long (up to more than 2 secs) to qualify as stutters. Bummer. So next I reset my graphic settings and restarted the flight. Same pauses, no difference. Rage quit. What is going on here?

I'm getting hooked on doing RNAV approaches with the Daher. They seem to work well but I have 2 questions. 1) If I activate the RNAV approach in cruise will it take me down to the runway? I've been descending manually. 2) When is a good time to turn on APR? Doesn't seem to matter. TIA bs

Hello, While I do love the scenery in this sim, why haven't they addressed the funny road traffic? Fly Tampa does a great job, like their KLAS for example. I guess some day. Thanks, Mike.
