  1. Thank you for the suggestions.
  2. I am planning on installing P3D but I have a few questions if you would be kind enough to answer. I would be mainly flying pmdg 748f. 1) Which version should I use? V6 or v5.xx ? 2) For ground scenery, is there a global addon ? Or is there any way to stream ortho ? 3) What are the must have addons ? I have a very beefy system with 9800x3d and a 4090 so I am willing to go all out. Thanks
  3. Yeah dlss and next gen scenery, both would be reserved for xp13. Would be a major selling point.
  4. Msfs 2024 looks insanely good with HDR on granted you have a good hdr display. The sky looks amazing with great depth and the colors look vivid. Just adjust the exposure compensation setting so that whites dont get blown out. I dont even bother with sdr now. No reshade, no rex atmos, nothing. Just default.
  5. Tried the updated version. This can be a gamechanger. Thank you for making this really. I have a question and a suggestion. If its raining in the distance, will you be able to see reduced visibility in that specific area ? Since xplane does not simulate visible rain shafts yet, this would be nice to have.
  6. Doesnt xplane does this by default? Well ofcourse when its raining the metar will report low vis and hence gets simulated in xplane.
  7. Very interesting but I am unable to create account on openweathermap. Keeps saying something went wrong.
  8. Nice. Been waiting for this fix.
  9. I dont know man but live weather in xp12 is mostly riddled with cloud transparency issues and minecraft looking clouds. I mean if you want, I can share some 'laughable' screenshots of 'realistic' cloudscapes that you talk about. No matter how bad the cloudscapes sometimes look in msfs 2024, you would never see anything as wierd as in xp12.
  10. I think msfs does a pretty good job at low level clouds. The problem starts with mid to high level clouds. Then there is the overall dramatic size of the clouds that completely distorts the depth and height when flying at high altitudes or even when you are at ground. It gives you wrong perception of scale. But I agree with @abrams_tank. I prefer msfs 2024 clouds to xp12s. Very rarely you get a realistic cloudscape in xp12. Its mostly stretched stratus clouds everywhere with some very weird shapes. In msfs, devs need to start with proper simulation of haze due to humidity and pollution that affects visibility. This will instantly increase the immersion and will give the atmosphere 'depth' that its lacking. Secondly they need to get rid of metar bubbles.
  11. I am using framegen. I have capped the fps using RTSS at 40. Since FG disables the option to set in game fps cap. I have set the target fps in autofps app to 40 and option selected to 'FR'. Is this ok ? Or do i need to select a different option in autofps app?
  12. Just an example of how DLSS 5 will probably work since its basically AI enhancing the 2d image. I asked chatgpt to do the same
  13. Looks pretty amazing if you ask me. Not understanding all the hate..
  14. Dlss 5 hands on. Looks pretty amazing if you ask me.
