Has anyone have had this situation that the buttons and knobs disappear while flying especially over water?? This has happen to me with the previous version and now the new version. Any thoughts?? Can someone help me on this thanx I would appreciated.....

After the latest update to MSFS on my system, wen I look at my content manager, it lists the items in my Community folder and says Not Installed. However, if I look on the system, I seem to be able to bring up the items. Can anyone explain why that would be? Thanks ........ Rob P.S. I know that the sim is not 100% rock stable (see the G1000/G3000 issues), but I believe that many random CTDs are originated because of hardware instability, caused by overclock or aggressive XMP profiles. MSFS is very demanding and can highlight any tiny instability that does not manifest with other software / games. I used to have sporadic CTDs, ONLY in MSFS, with error 0xc0000005 in the event log and I found out, in 5 minutes with OCCT, that the XMP profile of my RAM was not fully stable. Hi all, few days ago I bought ELLX for MSFS from JustSim as I got this scenery for P3D too and was quite happy with it. Well... the MSFS version was quite a disappointment for me so I thought my feedback might be useful for potential buyers. I do like the 3D modelling. Let's put this straight. It seems to be ported over from the P3D version which is fine with me. No complaints here. However, what in my opinion kills the product is the ground texturing (aprons, taxiways and the runway). The previous versions had a Mod Set page in the FMC where you could select different options including connecting ground power. I don't seem to have that option in the latest version, 0.12.0. Was this function removed or am I doing something wrong. What way can I verify that I have the latest version. It almost seems like I have the default version without any mods. I parked it for a week or two after WU3 with the new strange random big drops in frame rate. There was a fix announced which seemed to improve things enough until now. Now even flying into rather easy to process KSBA it becomes choppy as heck the nearer I get to the airport. Things really have gone awry, and I have been one of the most staunch apologists about progress thus far. The real weird part is I do have ample CPU/GPU headroom but I also notice CPU load is much higher than a few updates back, and yet scenery quality hasn't improved, I'm talking about areas I fly in regularly.. Server changes don't seem to matter, rolling cache with or without doesn't matter. …

All of a sudden, the DME display will not light up in the Arrow 3. It was working a week or so ago. I suspect the latest update, anyone else see this?

After updating the PA28 Arrow (v.0.4.0) I'm getting a CTD immediately after the New Activities screen. I've had the plane since it was released and installed the two previous updates and all has worked ok. If I uninstall the plane from my system all is good. I even updated to the latest RTX 2080 Super driver with no joy. Really lost on this one and could use some help. Thanks. Jim

I mean literally painful. Not sure what the latest update did but I am getting like 1-2 FPS and it literally hurts your eyes... It's actually painful. Had to shut the sim down yet the sound kept running in the background. Task Manager says nothing running but MSFS is still using 16G memory. Add me to the "this update broke my sim" camp lol. Thank goodness for F1 and MotoGP today instead.

Trying to fly the 737-800 I downloaded from MSF2020 . I can get the speed and altitude (and VS) to work, but heading won't stay at the heading I have set. Ideas? Thanks! Jim

This is my local airport in MSFS. KESN, Easton-Newnan Field, Easton, Maryland, USA. This is the only airport I have found where the buildings/hangars are missing, only blotches where they would be. Buildings in the community that surrounds the airport are present as you can see. The only structure at this airports is a tower. I have looked at somewhere between 40 and 50 other GA airports and this is the only one that does not have at least some mildly representative buildings. Have any of you discovered other airports like this? Even the nearby tiny W29, Bay Bridge airport is populated with buildings.

Hi everybody, Since WU III, I have these awful mesh artifacts : in mountaineous regions, I see a lot of peeks appearing at a few mikles distance miles, desapearing at last moment when i am near them. In other regions, there are more like volcanos or pyramids (when flying over London, I see everytime time between 2 and 6 fake mountains. Starting from Courchevel, flying left along the valley, I have 10 peeks in sight after 3 minuts. With WU IV installed, I have 2 hills on base from Tour Eiffel ! Haven't flown MFS for a few days, and tried to today. I clicked on the icon as usual, and the program started to load (the calm music and graphics, etc) then it stops and a screen abruptly appears saying that there is a required update. So I click on install and am taken to the MS Store, but no further guidance what to do. Can anyone help me?

Here we go again.... stuck downloading bigfiles. This happens every time MSFS updates. I've done everything MS suggests. The only things that worked in the past were Netlimiter and a free VPN software. Both limited the download speed. For whatever reason, that allows the larger files to download. Unfortunately, both Netlimiter and the free VPN software were trial versions that have since expired. Another thing that worked on the last download was me pausing and unpausing the download every 30 seconds or so. That was extremely painful. I've tried to slow my network card down (slowest it will allow is 10g full/half duplex), but that doesn't work. The bigfiles gets…

After flying across the country the last few days in MSFS, it seems to me the wind gusts and turbulence is a bit much-especially with the yaw movement in the A320nx/airliners while crsuiing. Is there any way to limit this in live weather? Thanks for your help.

I made a call to Microsoft Support and asked about purchasing MSFS through my Game Pass subscription. I see options to buy at at a reduced price. I have always been of the opinion that after buying it I can end my Game Pass subscription and continue using MSFS. But the representative I spoke to told me that this is not the case. Makes no sense to me. Why on earth should you buy it if you must continue to have the Game Pass subscription through which you can use as long as you are a subscriber ?

I know this topic has been here for a while, and it seems after the last update any items showing as not installed have been working, but moving forward I see any new items added after this update will load and not get into the sim. Any solutions or are we waiting for a hotfix?
