I don't remember all of info in email, but it included new info on GTN750 mod including charts usable in flight with the GTN750 mod in MSFS2020 (just a quick note of info from me). This was email from my NAVIGRAPH subscription.

The Edgley EA-7 Optica is a British aircraft which looks like a combination of a helicopter and an ultralight. Download link: https://flightsim.to/file/12731/ea-7-edgley-optica Random review I found:

I’m not a real pilot but have simmed for 25 years so far....it seems that with some (not all) of my MSFS aircraft I touch down upon landing, begin braking, but then the slightest touch of twist rudder correction on my Thrustmaster stick and the plane gyrates wildly requiring way too much correction. I don’t seem to have this problem with the Aerosoft CRJ or that nice German payware 1950s prop whose names escapes me...but Carenado and the Just Flight Arrow for example do. I tried adjusting the sensitivity curves etc. and it doesn’t make a difference. Thoughts or tips? Thanks!

https://www.twitch.tv/msfsofficial They're going to open a public Third party question forum for all developers, not just paid. Visual Effects editor is coming with the next SDK update. There will be checks if something in the SDK can run on the X-box, you're not forced to make X-Box compatible projects and you can flag your projects as PC only. Everything Asobo makes will be for both platforms. First X-Box release of the Sim will be on the X-Box Series X|S, the original X-Box One coming later on. There is mouse and keyboard support for the X-box Series X version. No plans for an official Bender model exporter, but they will include …

The current (somewhat impractical) MS recommended work around for the multiplayer stutters introduced with the last patch is that everyone visible on your server has to fly default aircraft with default liveries. Unfortunately if some random turns up at the next airport in a CRJ or corsair or in the WT CJ4 or with a fancy custom livery all bets are off, but so long as you are all flying default with default liveries it actually works, no multiplayer stutters. Floating name tags in the distance seem fine, it is once the other players aircraft becomes visible that you get stutters. I am not sure if premium or deluxe aircraft count as "default" probably not. …

I hope someone can help me get rid of the black backgrounds I'm getting behind all titles, messages, ATC, POIs, etc. Messages now appear in white characters on a black rectangle. I believe this started just a short time ago. Before that, headings and messages were black characters on a clear background. That's what I want to bring back... I've tried different General and Assistance settings, but haven't been able to return to the original. Is a black rectangle behind messages now the standard in MSFS? If not, can you help me get back to the original background?... Many thanks in advance for all suggestions... Lee Graves

This guy is dilligently at work improving the Longitude, squeezing juice out of the limited access to the files. Did a short flight with the Longitude, and it behaved much more predictable, plus he managed to restore some of the range that the Longitude has. Link to the mod: https://flightsim.to/file/3655/asobo-cessna-citation-longitude-flight-dynamics-modifications-project-version-1-0 Improvement is ongoing. Link to discussion on the MSFS forums: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/cessna-citation-longitude-flight-dynamics-modification-project/325768 I also found a nice livery on flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/4135/citation-…

Could we finally get enough visibility for the trees in the FS2020 simulator? In a realistic landscape, the trees can be seen really far from the plane in good weather. Another thing is the screen update, which should be good enough. I've been waiting for these improvements to each simulator upgrade. Unfortunately, most of the time these issues have not been updated or fixed and often the operation of the simulator has gone in a worse direction. The good thing is that the height modeling has been greatly improved in the updates. I am looking forward to the Nordic update, mainly with regard to altitude modeling.

BlueMesh is a newcomer to MSFS, and their first product definitely catches anyone’s attention. Inspired by the Polaris AM-FIB, the developer created the aptly named “Amphibious Ultralight” https://secure.simmarket.com/bluemesh-amphibious-ultra-light-aircraft-skywaves-msfs.phtml

Hi. I fly airliners in the sim, and often times the jetways arent in working order. (Facing the wrong way, etc). So I try and load on the ramps, but the airstairs only connect for 45 seconds and then they automatically drive off. I use a PAX addon and if the boarding door is closed, pax can't load. Unfortunately I am unable to load a plane full of passengers in 45 seconds, which leads me to constantly stop my preflight to request ATC find and re-hook the airstairs. Is there a file I can edit to remove the auto-disconnect of airstairs, or to just force open the aircraft door which auto-closes without a jetbridge or airstair? I'm not sure why Asobo devs decided to …

Hi there. I notice in MSFS that the converted FSX FAIB 747's "glow" after dark, and are very bright looking during the day. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download the LM's for the FAIB 747 series so they will display properly in MSFS? Many thanks!

As with the North American one, it's purely cosmetic, there's no new interactions or anything, it just replaces the models with more regional appropriate ones.. I haven't bought this one yet, but I own the American one, and the models and texture on that one are great, so I imagine this will be the same quality (and is based on the screenshots) https://latinvfr.com/products/airport-regional-environment-x-europe-for-msfs

I'm currently using the two add-on 172s and hopping around South America. I'm way up in the mountains and (though I think I'm answering my own question) how high could a 172 go before everyone on board ran out of air?

I've read a lot of people saying that they have very fast internet and so the rolling cache isn't needed. This I don't believe is true. It seems to me that pauses in the sim are largely data loading and you cannot guarantee that the MS server will be faster than your local hard drive no matter how fast your connection. It also increases server load I would think which probably slows everything down for everyone. I think we'd all be better off if everyone used the rolling cache as the program was designed. Set up a large cache on a fast drive and fly a while and let it download some data for a while and see if things dont get better over time. I think they wi…

Would like to assign the ”Choke” (for example in the DV20) to a button on my Honeycomb Alpha. Anyone know what simconnect, LVAR or such I should use? I tried to assign the value Primer but that did not work. Cant get that choke lever to move.

...along with magic disappearance of the spinning loading wheel in the lower right of your screen. In the last 24h I have attempted 4 or 5 flights from KTVL>KACV in the Citation L, and each one started for a minute or so looking fine, able to maintain smooth animation at my vsync to 30Hz. By the time I got to the runway to proceed to TO the spinning wheel went from every 10 seconds or so to nearly constantly on the last try. I let each of those flights go around 20 minutes and the stuttering got worse and worse, and I was seeing regular dips from solid 30fps to 29 or 28fps. And again, the spinning wheel got almost continuous on the last flight. So I tried uni…

Like many of you I have been a die hard Working Title fan for the last 6-9 months, ever since they implemented their own flight plan manager I have not flown anything else. I tried the FBW early on but the the default A320 it was built on was so horrible to fly, it would just sky rocket on take-off and and you had no idea if it would actually follow the flight plan. Also the performance was horrible, I could only get 15-25FPS and it would s stutter frequently. So I recently decided to try it out again and wow it's so much more solid to fly than it was before. I suspect a combination of Asobo fixing a lot of the underlying flight plan glitches and a ton of hard work f…
