Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Am I the only one who thinks the takeoff rolls in he sim are far to quick for most aircraft in the sim? I haven't flown the DC-6 yet but, most seem to leap into the air. Tonight I was watching a YouTube video following takeoffs from Chicago Ohare and I notice that while watching the sting of planes, most of which we have in the sim, they all seemed to be roll for the 20-25 second range before they rotated. A FedEx Airbus only took 18 to get airborne. Are any of you guys doing anything to modify this or just using reduced takeoff power settings? Mike

Hi there, We have introduced the initial version of the automatic mode for the pressurisation system. This brings a first simulation of the CPC and outflow valve, while managing cabin pressure and rate using engine parameters and landing field elevation. A future implementation will add more detailed operations and manual control on the overhead. Try it out in the development version right now! PS: also we have pixels! 🙂

Hi all. After about 2 days of configuring controls etc and programming my X52pro, I’m finally getting to grips with FS20 and almost happy with it. However, I really miss having the MFD functions working, as they did for FSX. For me, being able to see settings and adjust the radio stack and autopilot using the MFDs on the X52 was one of the best things about it. However it doesn’t seem to be possible for FS2020. I know that originally to get this to work on FSX you had to download a plugin from the Saitek website, and this is still available. Hi, I´m seriously thinking about getting a Next Level Racing Motion platform V3 for my MSFS2020 and I´d love to know if you guys have any experience with it and whether it´s recommended for flight simming (Without screens since I just fly on VR, but I still have to check if I have enough room for it at home 😅). I know that probably there are better motion platforms and that NLR is preparing a "Boeing" motion platform to be announced pretty soon, but I think its price may be unreacheable for me. When moving the drone, the zoom level is always 50% as standard. Is there any way to change this value to default 60% after starting the sim? I think 60% corresponds better to the normal view of a camera or mobile phone, for example.

Does anyone know how to get the Ins key to turn "Showcase Mode" on and off. I have tried everything and can't seem to figure it out.

So, I was flying the Airbus 320 from KCVG (Cincinnati, Ohio) to KATL (Atlanta, Ga) High altitude IFR. All went fine until about 10 miles from KATL, and the plane just went dark. All instruments went black and I lost all power. Needless to say, it was a crash and burn. Any ideas what might have happened?

some simple 4K tests - using HWiNFO with 32GB RAM (notice Page File Usage 6.9%).. & with new 64GB - hammering at FSDT KORD (0% Page File Usage & 35+ GB Physical Memory Used) 4K KORD FSDT example screenshot (35GB RAM usage)... I know this has been discussed several times, but I am having a hard time keeping up with everything. I picked up DD RJAA and when on final to Narita in the CRJ-700, I am still getting stutters, enough to ruin the immersion. I have excellent hardware, so that isn’t the issue. This issue rears its ugly head pretty much any time in the CRJ while on final to a major airport. Should we expect this to be resolved with the big performance update coming next week? It is this issue that keeps me using P3dv5 as my primary sim, since I like tubeliners and large airports. Hi all, So I've been using the TBM mod and love it. I had a question about the torque and power though. I can't use 100% power without the TRQ going into the red. I know you don't need to full power to get this girl into the air, but even at higher elevations, it'll still go into the red. Is this just normal ops or am I doing something wrong? Just found this video, works for me. I was in the P40 at small regional airport right after the flight loaded, fps cycled between 37 and 38. Applied the trick and ir cycled between 40 and 41. Every time I redid the test, the improvement was repeatable. In the video he's in the A320 FlyByWire at the UK Update bespoke Asobo Manchester EGCB airport. His stutters went away. He says this improvement will last for the whole flight. Notice he just clicks Windows | Aircraft Selector | Load.... (no need to specify which aircraft, it will reload the current plane). Are there any info on which version will be on the X-box version? Or, if if's "just" the one we know as Standard, if it will be possible to update to the Deluxe version? Or will there also be three versions as we know it from PC?

Can't authenticate to the cloud servers even after changing my password, anyone else seeing this?

I'm spending some time in the C172 doing some touch and goes trying to become more familair with the platform. Upon pitching up from the landing roll and accelerating I'm getting a "Don't Sink" audio alarm repeating along with a terrain yellow panel warning. I'm pitched up 10 to 15 degrees and raising the flaps with full throttle, yet the warning persists, quite annoying. Searches here and elsewhere come up short for a solutuion,other than the usual smart a$$ remarks to "gain altitude" and "don't sink". I have gone through all the assist menu control menu items and turned them all off, at least I think I have. Any suggestions? Simply no enjoyment to fly like this. Thanks!
