Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I know this subject has been discussed ad nauseam, but I'm almost at the end of the internet with no joy on this subject. I have tried every slope/curve shape, sensitivity setting and I still find myself fighting this. It is especially egregious on final approach where I try my best to get the trim set, but making slight adjustments with the yoke (MS Sidewinder joystick for me), it reaches the zone in the sensitivity curve that is much more vertical than horizontal - meaning that the slightest movement in my joystick equates to a significant movement in aircraft yoke and pitches up and down as I try to correct. Hello, are there any MSFS bush or general VFR groups around that don't use Discord but instead just rely on a website,teamspeak or other platforms?. Not looking for a VA just casual flying with like minded Puddle jumpers.

Hi. There was an interesting discussion in the Fenix A320 thread, that started to derail the topic, but nonetheless, deserved some more detailed discussion in a separate thread. The discussion was, if Microsoft would pull the plug on the satellite/photogrammetry streaming we get for MSFS for the entire world. As you know, after you purchase a copy for MSFS, the satellite/photogrammetry streaming for the entire world is effectively free and we don't get charged further for it. I’ve been away from MSFS for a while and decided to take a quick flight out of the new KCLE freeware. The airport looks great but downtown Cleveland still has that melted building prehistoric look. I didn’t see anything recent at the MSFS forums about this but was wondering if anyone knows if this can or will ever be fixed. From some of the earlier discussion about this issue, there were questions as to whether this can ever be resolved. I know that the buildings look okay within a very close radius but most approaches don’t get close enough to the buildings, so my approaches look ugly for the most part. Cheers, Pete

I have megapack liveries installed with Flybywire A320Nx. But at any airport in the world, I see only A320N parked and landing/arrival. Is there any way to have more diversify airtraffic? I used psxseecontraffic with ivao liveries/models but now it doesn't work with ADB-S radar. Thanks.

I have not played for a while and wanted to do a quick flight but I get an error message. Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001 I checked in the store. I am logged in and it shows the product is installed. What the heck. Has anyone experienced this before.🤬

I have noticed lately that the logbook does not appear any more after finishing a flight. Going into the logbook manually, the departure and arrival airport show as the same and no time is recorded against the flight. Any ideas?? Kev

Hi, I'm having issues with the TCA Thrustmaster throttles with aircraft that have no calibration for throttles (basically everything but the CRJ and A32NX). My issue is when I'm idle on my TCA, in-sim aircraft are not, only when I pull my TCA to max reverse, in-sim aircraft become idle, meaning I no longer have ability to go into reverse thrust in-sim I have throttles 1,2,3,4 axises bound not the 0-100% axises (as advice from PMDG for the DC-6) Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

I have never created a local cache before but as I have a pretty poor connection speed thought it would be a good idea to try for central London. The download got to about 17% then crashed to desktop. Restarted MSFS and the 17% was still there so pressed resume and it immediately crashed again. I always have photogeometry turned off due to my poor download speed, should I turn it on to create this local cache or can anybody suggest another reason for these crashes?

Atsimulations just released the Focke Wulf 149 its a neat looking 2 seater I'm thinking about getting it.

I am trying to insert the fligtplan into FMC of B747. I have no problems inserting the diferent waypoints and the departure (SID) but i can't choose the arrive correctly , when i choose the STAR i can't choose the approach (runway and transition) Anyone have this problem and knows how to solve it thanks
