The T flight HOTAS One is supposed to work with S or X series. As far as I know (somebody can correct me) the S and X versions of Xbox are much different in price only difference is S has half the storage (I think 500 GB instead of 1000) and S is native 1440 p instead of 4K Xbox X). MSFS for Xbox is in 2K for the S version (not 1440p) and full 4K for the X console. The price for MSFS Xbox is $0 is you already own a PC version (I'm pretty sure this is true no matter where you bought the PC version: Steam, box, or MS store). Hello. I have played FS since FS98 and got all versions so far. I spent hours, actually days, building a machine inside my budget. And got stutters, low FPS in cities like Paris etc. I barely play MSFS, something like 1 to 2h a week, but I play it. Anybody help I have a Hoyas 4 joystick and throttle setup Works well But now some strange things are happening Throttle stay at full revs and only reduces if at at all after several attempts Flaps keep going down one notch spontaneously Steering is some times locked in forward direction These faults appear as a cluster but not all the time Tried using a different USB port Joystick and throttle set up work fine in P3D v5 and XPlane Anything I could try? xxd09

Well, no, it's not what ya think - not a girl, not that great addon, but actually my old 960 GPU installed in my new desktop which was built for a new generation of MFS and XP. I have been experiencing a huge increase in T of the GPU, and accompanying fan speed ... This happens as soon as I start MFS, and is specially intense along a normal flight. I have lowered the graphics settings, but the "problem" persists. Before, when I was running MFS in the old desktop, with an old i5 2500 , the GPU was never under "stress". Top T reaches 75+ ºC !!! Granted i am only running at 1080, but i have noticed and been able to increase most of my settings to Ultra ( Radeon RX 5700 XT) and the load has definetley shifted from my CPU (AMD 3800x) 10-20% and onto the GPU 80-90%. I wonder are they tweaking things behind the scenes just now?

The world is huge and there are so many places to explore, but for me I would have to say Sydney, Australia (Orbx) with FlyTampa's YSSY. This area and it's surrounding looks absolutely stunning. 2nd place for me would have to be SamScene Hong Kong and Macau, along with WF Scenery's VHHH. I'm sure there are other areas that are even better that I don't even know about. But if you guys know of a better area in high quality like this, please feel free to list them here for us to check out.

I've been experiencing lags { bigger ones) which really sucks.I have a pretty decent system I9 10900k oc to 5.2 ghz / 3080 gpu/ 16 gbs high speed ram/ game installed on M2ssd. I've done the things many youtubes say to get better performance/ help lags. I get good frame rate avg 55-75 with vsnync off in nvidia control panel, and 45 with it on(it is off in MSFS). i just get big lags that drop to 1-fps or 10 or below.the lag is from a second or two up to 3-4 seconds..then back up to my constant fps. this happens approx about once every minute or sometimes many times. Is this something i just have to live with? any suggestions?

I am considering buying the PMDG DC-6 but does that make sense as I have only 1 throttle (X52 PRO), and not 4, and not Honeycomb set , because of the realism of the PMDG?

I have a Logitech G Saitek ProFlight Yoke System with Throttle Quadrant, which works ok in P3D and X-Plane 11. The Throttle Quadrant does not show in MS2020 Control Options however. It is connected to the Yoke by a PS/2 plug, and I wonder if the problem could be overcome by buying the separate Logitech G Throttle Quadrant which is powered by a usb connection. I dont want to spend £50 on another Throttle Quadrant if the issue may not be resolved. Can anyone advise please?

G'day, I wish I knew what happened but I have no idea. Suddenly I am taking off and as usual settle into a climb but wait as soon as I let go of the stick the plane start to dive. What daaa.. ?? So it needs a whole lot of trim to bring ht nose up after take off. It happens now to all aircaft and I can't seem to figure out why. Gear is T16000 Hotas. Anyone? Thanks

A very long time ago I read increasing system ram can make achieving the same overclock more difficult, perhaps also when the number of modules involved goes up from say 2 to 4. Right now I have 32Gb, and often in complex areas I will see 25+ Gb in use. The specific modules I have will very likely go out of production, and I can still pick up 2x16Gb of the exact modules right now. Plus, I'm blessed with a very o/c friendly CPU which sits at 5.0Ghz on all 8 cores at only 1.21v rock solid, and I'm a little loath to give that up. If you've gone to 64Gb from 32, what happened w/ your overclock? Did you need to up the vCore? Also, if you have more VRAM than I do …

Since almost ever in DCS World, and since a few versions ago also in X-Plane 11, it is possible to have custom controller settings for each aircraft in your sim fleet. Yesterday I was offered the Great Bell-47 G2 by FlyInside, and I went testing it in my fresh MFS install. It is the only add-on I have in this new run of MFS use. It took me some time to recover the process of defining controller settings in MFS ( a bit awkward I should say ) but the "problem" is that the Bel 47 G2 uses the "throttle" axis to control the collective, so, I had to "Invert" it in order to make it more intuitive, but now I have to reverse the setting whenever I want to fly other aircr…

Once in a while I see stutters when making turns over large cities. When checking the main thread core it is at 100% that moment, but it also remains at 100% when flying over rural terrain. So I guess that at startup this core is already at 100%. With Proces Lasso I then simply disable that main thread core and load back into MSFS. Immediately another core becomes the main thread core at then stays at 85-90% when making the same turn over that large city. I also can switch back on the former main thread core and then it also stays at 85-90% max, Imho it would be better if at startup the main thread core was already lower than 100%. Is there any reference for how this thing works? I got it to work correctly once, but if I change modes, it goes mad and rolls the trim to max up. I am really enjoying this sim. But it has some amazing quirks.

I never know where I want to fly, mainly because I don't have more than 30min/day available (2 babies 🙃) and I want to fly everywhere to discover the planet. So I often see myself in front of the World Map and spend a lot of time choosing where to go! So if you are like me, what is your technique? PS: I know, big problems :))

So been awhile since I have used the sim. About six months. Today I decided to fire it up. Performed all the updates and tried it out. So when in the sim about every 2-3 minutes the screen blacks out. In about 1-2 seconds the screens reappeared. I can still here sound when this happens. Thoughts?

Hi all, In FS9 and FSX, the scenery has placed in order of preference in layers, so those higher up the list would be displayed on top of any scenery lower down. How does it work in MSFS as I have a scenery for Thanet which includes Ramsgate and then someone has produced a HD version of Ramsgate harbour. As I do not know where the scenery edges are I am not sure if these will cover the same area or overlap. Will the game just show both together, as there is no way to prioritise one?
