As a very old-time flight simmer, I cut my teeth taking off -- and usually crashing into Lake Michigan -- at the old Meigs Field near the lake in Chicago. For many of the first versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator, Meigs was the default airport, and in the very earliest versions of Fight Sim, Meigs was the only airport. When FSX was released (in 2006, I believe), Meigs was no longer in the sim because the real-life Meigs Field had been bulldozed overnight by an out-of-control mayor of Chicago. Trying to load KSFO which is stock (albeit one of Asobo handcrafted) and when the sim is loading (after World Map) get a repeatable CTD no matter what aircraft?

I upgraded from my GForce 1060 6 GB to a RTX 3060 12 GB videocard, which is supposed to almost double its performance. My results are really dissapointing, as I didnt experience any improvement, but instead also a slightly worse FPM rate of about 5%.- I tried with the last Nvidia driver using the same settings as before.- The only diference is that the Developer performance window, shows no more the "limited by GPU" leyend which was common before, red sectors at the GPU line are completely gone, and now only shows "limited by main thread" constantly.- The system memory usage is not more than 70% (I have 24 GB RAM) and the video memory usage doesnt exceed …

Brest is where I’d often travel for work pre-COVID and hope to return soon, so I was disappointed to have a nice addon airport and now the gorgeous Saint Matthieu lighthouse as freeware only to have an issue with missing orthoimagery and severe blurriness in downtown Brest? Do others see this as well? I fear it’s due to the naval facilities causing blanked out imagery? Thanks, Steve

Hi! I have installed AI BOATS file recently according to the instructions of the author in to the community folder but no ships or boats could be seen any where. I also adjusted the slider as mentioned by the author. Is there any tips that I missed to make it work . Please shed some lights on this issue kindly if you can. Thanks

Anyone experience erratic flight with the Aerosoft CRJ? Attempted a few flights which I ended up never completing, the plane starts going left then returns on the flightpath then right and returns and on and on. After a while I lose speed and it's all over. I know about icing but not an issue here. I have also set a deadzone on my controls because I had a problem with the FBW were it would go around in a circle and never follow the plan, so I doubt it's that since the FBW is now perfect. Any similar experience?

So I'm thinking about buying my first third-party aircraft for MSFS 2020. I want something that's pretty much a complete aircraft from A to Z that has very little to no inops. Something that's realistic to the flight model would be nice too but also not too difficult to fly. Autopilot is, of course, a must as I like to fly IFR often in challenging weather. To that end, I've narrowed my choices to either the Just Flight Piper Arrow (any of the variants, I'd likely buy the vanilla/turbo bundle) or Carenado Mooney M20R. Piper Arrow seems to offer a compelling package, but I also like going high, fast and far and the Mooney gives that. I'd much rather have a biz jet, but…

Hi! I have just set up ADDON LINKER for FS2020 and it's working but some sceneries do not work although in addon and community folders shown all addons are linked in light green colour. Is there any way that this can be fixed?. Thanks

I can copy my PMDG DC-6 B profile to a Profile for the A but the custom camera dont work nore do they if I use the B profile with the A Is it possable to copy over the custom views?

Flightsim.to has a nice map of freeware. Is there an equivalent for payware? .

Hi guys, Its already 5th time i noticed that a control preset i make getting reset for some reason. I created a preset and called it heli (used for the H135 custom key bindings). its working great even when i restart the game. And then all of a sudden i noticed the bindings dosnt work, i got and check and i see the preset had changed. Anyone knows what's causing it ?

Hi Does anyone know where the key bindings are saved, I have programmed my joystick and keyboard and it was time consuming, i want to save that file somewhere else incase i get a HDD crash etc so I can just replace this file If i even ever need to reinstall FS2020 with my current joystick bindings.
