A few updates back they improved live traffic where the volume was pretty decent. I noticed about a day before this latest update the live traffic disappeared altogether. Post update it's reverted back to the way it was months ago--a plane here or there if you're lucky. Guess it's back to ai traffic for now, though that seems to impact performance a bit (little less smooth, a few less frames). Between this and constant lightning/thunder, Asobo seems to struggle with any feature that includes the word 'live'. Oh well, fingers crossed for next update.

In my case frame rate limit doesn't work , i have limited it to 30fps inside the game (general option--graphics) but the frames aren't fixed into 30fps and they are moving between 20-45 fps. How can i limit the FPS to 30? thanks

I believe this started with the latest update.. When I first spawn on a runway, the ground tile under the aircraft is fuzzy. After taking off and returning to the same spot, the runway has cleared up. Has anyone encountered this? Last location: Skagit runway 11.

The "in-built" flight plan option with FS2020 is very simple to use for the more casual simmer, like me, and avoids the need for external software. However, I have found that when I check the FMS it shows "flight plan not loaded" and so far I have found it's not possible to follow the chosen flight plan as was the case with x-plane when using autopilot. Can someone explain if I am doing something wrong or do you need external software, such as Simbrief, to fully use the FMS?

Hi All Can I skip FBW startup procedure and do a flight plan from MSFS planner then hit fly now like I can do with the A320 NEO or do I have to startup dark and manually have to put in a flight plan or import simbrief ? thank you

Anyone else get hard framerates sitting at OMDB with the ORBX Dubai landmarks installed ? As far as my cameraview goes to the direction where dubai landmarks are behind OMDB i get horrible stutters, if i go in the opposite direction it gets back to normal . Also if i fly out OMDB and get the landmarks in view it begins to stutter.. cheers 😉

Are they expected to improve TAA again I'm still seeing some small Jaggies. I have a 1080p monitor and I know it can do better.

I think from my experience certain liveries (for certain aircraft) seem to cause instability and CTD. Not sure what you guys think but how would you recommend troubleshooting this problem? Through testing my system appears much more stable if I load zero liveries other than stock and of course its difficult to say when I CTD, that its the livery at fault. Thoughts?

Hey guys, super excited, managed to get my hands on a 3080FE after hours of haggling, lol. paired with a I7 10700K 16GB 3080 i think finally i may have a good experience at 4k. I was crashing with 16gb ram when starting up, kind of expecting it but with sim update 5 i hope i can get away with it. No idea what to expect as of yet but i hope after sim update 5 its a nice experience.

The Logitech Flight Yoke manual indicates the button on back of left handle is "Button 1" and is for "Brakes". In the MSFS assignment there is no "button 1" but there are two buttons referred to as "E" and "D". I would like to assign the button on back of left handle to brake function but have not been able to do so. Any ideas?

I am wondering if I have to have the megapack liveries installed in order to see the correct liveries when flying on vatsim? I have the IVACO pack loaded in the sim, but the megapack sure does take up a lot of room. Thanks for the help Anthony

I've had the alpha for a month or so and have been waiting on the bravo to arrive. It has and I'll get to break it out this weekend however prior to I've been reading folks tips on config setups and I've seen mention of software downloadable from Aerosoft for the bravo and alpha regarding (at the least) LED status. Is this even required for MSFS anymore? I thought I'd read this was a non-issue now. If there is any required software is Aerosoft the source or Honeycomb? Honeycomb has one link on their site but its non-working and another that links to Aerosoft but just for LED status from a couple of months back. Thanks for your help...

I'm trying to get into more general aviation. It's freaken hard to land on a smaller runway. The smallest movements up/down or left/right make really dramatic differences when flying. It's near impossible to line up and be in line and the right speed * height. Any suggestions.

Since months now MSFS was ultra smooth ,no crashes no stutters and in general no problems. I had like 3 days to open MSFS and today i saw those weird yellow spikes on Developer mode preview. Never had this issue before, and the weird part is that everything below the main counter is solid green with out any spike ( MainThread, Manipulators, Coherent etc) let me know if someone facing the same issue thanks Seth

Likely because I've been doing a lot of VFR GA flying since moving to MSFS, I haven't had many opportunities to experience/appreciate how it handles low visibility situations close to ground. Today I flew Halifax (CYHZ) - Montreal (CYUL) in the FBW A320N both as I hadn't flown an airliner in a while and because I wanted to test out the new FSimStudios CYHZ scenery. Side note, the CYHZ scenery is fabulous, a superb rendition of an airport I know like the back of my hand, well worth a look! Weather was miserable at both airports, rain, low vis and low ceilings. Ever since I got the DC-6,. I've been flying VOr and I noticed that ever if a VOR is 250NM range according to the BGL, the game will never capture the VOR until it's at exactly 125NM. Can anyone confirm this is the case ?

All of a sudden MSFS2020 will not shut down when I close it. I have to use the Task Manager to close the program. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks Walt
