Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

OK, don't slap me down, I have yet to read the manual and watch the tutorials. BUT, starting up the aircraft at a number of different airports, I fail to get anything above 21-23fps! Outside views are OK, but inside the VC is where the trouble starts.I've been around long enough to understand that it's not about frames but about smoothness 🙂But crikey, this is crazy. I've read from loads of people reporting that performance is on par with some of the default aircraft (??) I mean, look at my specs I7-9700@5Ghz, 32GB RAM, RTX3090!! Not sure if this problem started with the last update (v1.17.3.0) as I've been more into GA recently. I was trying the 748 a few days back and noticed this but thought it was a problem with that bird. What's happening is if you choose any point at top of decent to travel to you'll emerge at 1500ft or somewhere around there. My question is has anyone else experienced this? 'Travel To' has never worked right but at least you could travel to a point and emerge at top of decent only to hurry up and re-activate your AP. It worked well enough but now jumping to points on a long distance flight is hosed.

Hi, I have just had a MSFS update on start up and after installing , I then selected a flight and the game crashed , Since then, If i right click on the icon and go to run as Admin, the MS Store opens up and its asking me to install Game services but on the top right , It says The Product is installed. I have no idea on what to do, If it will correct itself or not, I have rebooted the PC, But no way of starting the sim. I have had the FS since launch and first time having this issue. it seems that my local major airport has been recreated rather faithfully, except for the main building. so i can make the main building and import it, but can i keep all the gates and runways and the taxiways and lines from the existing part of the game? i just want to replace the building, not anything else, no change in functionality or parking gates or runways or anything

Had a bit of a fly about last night, and approached Blackpool airport for a landing. I had the comms set to AI, and the conversation got a bit odd…. The AI would announce my position and request a landing, and ATC would inform me that conditions had changed and it was IFR only, and my request to land was denied. Not to be deterred, my AI would pipe up again requesting permission to land, only to be met with the same response. And this went on and on and on. The only variance in the chatter was my ever-changing position relative to the airport. It was quite funny, as there was no gap between refusals and fresh requests. Hi guys, Love the CRJ so far but I'm struggling to assign buttons to my thrustmaster warthog for turning the autopilot speed/altitude/heading knobs. I fly in vr only and it's really hard to turn the knobs with the mouse and look at the display to see what I'm actually doing . Thanks for any thoughts. So this is interesting. TheFlyingFabio is a Twitch streamer (who was the first to live stream the DC-6 on Twitch before it was released) who was a CFI (I think) and worked for Flight Safety before. Fabio has some good connections with many 3rd party developers. So i´ve noticed that with my sim It´s gotten to the point where it´s unplayable.I get ctds regardless of what im doing, be it cruising or descending,loading it up,etc. The event viewer gives me a 0xc00005 error. My treefix addon stopped working, and I have a laughable range for my trees now. I can spit further than the max range of the trees even on ultra. Is there any way at all to increase the range ring?

i am tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to pan smoother in cockpit with camera i have set it up via some tutorials thou cam is still slightly lagging stuttering whilst panning, i have tried vsync on and off 30 fps 60fps etc etc rtss etc and nothing. any help is appreciated still learning this sim. my pc specs are quite powerful also i9990ok 1080ti etc etc medium settings thanks mike

Hi All, So all of a sudden today I can't contact ground in any airport !!! only Traffic, I even made sure that the radios are tuned correctly but I can't contact ground. I checked if the issue is with the FBW mod or the stock A320, both the same. I had no problems whatsoever up to yesterday. Any solutions?? Thanks.

Doing my nornal "Run as administrator" to start the game this morning and Microsoft Store page opens - Gaming services- this product is installed message Tried with the same result for last 30 minutes just unable to open the flight sim. Never happened before in the last 9 months No changes to PC since last running the flight sim 2 days ago purchased from microsoft store originally Any help much appreciated

Visual Effects (VFX) seem to be coming. Thanks to the youtuber for his videos and instructions. I think these will be improved and integrated to the aircrafts soon but for the moment I tried and add the tire smoke for my personel use, to Asobo A320N. Really nice and easy to adapt.
