Flybywire team is AMAZING 🙂 New to the development version: you are now able to type in the MCDU with your keyboard! This does not conflict with any sim keybinds, and is disabled by default. To enable it, go to `OPTIONS -> REALISM -> MCDU KEYBOARD INPUT` in the MCDU. To type in the MCDU and enable keyboard focus, click on the display. I am trying to make some custom keyboard assignments for use in the PMDG DC-6 specifically for the Ctrl + 0 though Ctrl + 9 cockpit views. I am specifically trying to do what RSR showed in the tutorial video, where he changed those to just the 0 to 9 keys, but those changes are not responsive inside the cockpit. If anyone has an idea as to what I may be missing I would appreciate it. It seems like I am assigning them correctly so I am not sure what the issue can be. I was able to change so that I can use the "S" key for the spot plane view, and that worked without a hitch. Cheers, Pete

I use track ir which provided I load before starting MSFS works perfectly for my first flight(s) as long I don't go back to the main menu. If I go back to the main menu and load a new flight, I start looking around and then TIR stops working. and one of the green LEDs (the right one) goes blank and I have to restart the sim for it to work again. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a fix? Thanks

Hi all , Do you have to shut off the ALT HOLD button to go on Approach ( LOC ) or does Approach override the ALT HOLD ? I assume i have to shut ALT HOLD to off before..? cheers 😉

Hi all, please help, I just switched from years of XP to FS2020 2 days ago. I purchased the deluxe Seam version of the sim. First thing-I do not see any standard C172' s in the default aircraft inventory, not ones without the G1000, I want the older one, the C172SP, which is like the most popular training aircraft, so dont understand why they dont have it by default. 2nd thing-there is ZERO add-on's available in the Steam store for FS2020, unless I'm missing something?? I find the location of the MSFS 2020 DC-6 AFE on the tablet very difficult to use. On the P3D version, it was to the forward- left of the cockpit when facing forward. Very easy to see and access without resorting to custom views. On the MSFS version it is below the left cockpit window, requiring you to scroll the cockpit view to the left and down each time you want to access the AFE. Is there a simple way around this?

Have just purchased the DC-6. I am able to select a flight with the DC-6, so this seems okay. However I want to open the O.C. to select additional liveries. However when I try to open the O.C. I get this message: "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem." Tried to reinstall twice and this did not fix the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

I purchased the Logitech Flight Yoke and the Saitek Pedals. Here is what want to do...I want to use Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3 commands in MSFS 2020. In the Logitech Yoke software I programmed the 'D' to the key press in Mode 2, let me repeat that in Mode 2, to the 'Cockpit/External View Mode' this, according to MSFS 2020 is the keyboard press of the 'End' key. I sense I'm going to have one of those face palm moments when /if anyone answers this but, how do I know what status my MSFS is at? When I first installed MSFS there seemed to be some advertising on the splash screen for World Update Update 4. But I don't recall ever installing it? I see it is free on the MSFS market place as is the latest Nordic update. I would like to download the Nordic update but something tells me I will need to ensure that World Update 4 is installed first? I had the premium deluxe version purchased and installed on my H: drive. A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft pushed update KB50003637 on me and, when I installed it, it crashed with a BSOD (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, for what it's worth). When Windows tried to undo the changes, it resulted in a corrupted install that, among other things, had no audio. After working through the problem for over a week with Microsoft tech support, I was informed that they had run out of ideas, and that my only option was to reformat my boot drive and do a "clean install" of Windows on it, then try to reinstall all my apps. Other thread became a conspiracy plot so here goes again.. How do you get your throttles in the DC6 to actually move? I have tried to use the mouse (grab and drag) like we do on any other MSFS plane and no go. I also tried to setup controller in many different ways but no movement. Yes I have the "gust lock" off and the "throttle lock" off and the "flight engineer" off so none of them seem to be the cause.

I am having trouble finding the right site to download the Grumman Goose for MSFS. I have clicked on just about every site I can find and all they seem to be are adds for browsers, virus detectors, etc. Can someone please post a link to the real download site? Thanks
