Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

My last PMDG purchase was many moons ago ! This GOC, is it coming with the DC-6 purchase or is it something to download prior to the purchase ?

Confirmed by devs over at PMDG the DC6 will cause a CTD when flying close to another DC6 in multiplayer. Hi folks! With the increasing number of addons available, I am starting to consider moving them on my HDD and leaving the sim on the Windows SSD. I am afraid of a big hit on performance, what do you think? Have you tried this? Thanks for your feedback! Cheers

My enjoyment is now being spoilt by this message sent to ATC whilst in flight " cancel flight following at this time " This can occur twice or three times in flight. The message is sent to ATC even if the co pilot is in charge of the radio or not. Problem is it's not possible some times to reinstate the original flight details causing the ILS not to function. I have had this problem for some time but just lately it is now every flight and as I said it spoils my enjoyment. Has this occurred just for me or have others had this issue ? what can I be doing to cause this ? I must say ATC in FS2020 is very poor with some totally ridiculous instructions.

Hello all, After the last update, I find that all my WTG1000 equipped aircraft have no engine instruments beside the GTN. I can't find a thread that solves this problem although I have seen (lately) a few youtube videos which feature, but do not mention, this anomaly. Can anyone tell me how to combine the two please? Is there way to load livieries Other than the ops center? I cannot use the ops center? I have HDTV. I am not using 4080P Monitor. May that could be it.

I currently see some MSFS 2020 spotting videos on YouTube and I notice that people are using some camera angles that are very similar to the well known FS recorder -that we used for FSX...whith the ability to set up tower views. So I am wondering how they are achieving these same tower views in MFSF 2020?...I hear some rumours that this can be achieved with the new replay tool...but as far as I know the replay tool only does what it says...just replay...but can you also create tower views at different spots on the runway with this tool?...because like I said before some people are doing this...but how?... Any ideas?...

I've always used the dev version of the FBW neo with great success. Lately, with the latest aircraft updates I've lost all cockpit button functions when I hover the mouse. The airplane works fine, but the FDM is off and practically all other buttons don't respond to the mouse cursor. Before I remove it and reinstall it, I am curious if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.

I'm suffering a very basic problem with the Airbus. I need a quick tip. I can't get the Airbus to follow the flight plan. And I'm talking about both the default MSFS Airbus and the FlyByWire Airbus. So I know it's something I'm omitting, rather than a software bug. I can get the autopilot to work properly to control airspeed, vertical speed, and altitude. I am successfully loading the flight plan into the flight computer. It lists all the waypoints perfectly. But I can't get the plane to follow the path. I've noticed that the NAV button next to the Throttle Quadrant works differently on the FlyByWire as compared to the default Airbus. I am confused about how to get the pl…

Hi Folks. Is there a way to use my keyboard to enter waypoint names into the 'Direct To' FMS data screen? I am finding it difficult to use the outer and inner knobs in the FMS bezel because a tooltip pops up and my mouse wheel wants to zoom the cockpit view. I end up trying to enter the data, avoid the tooltip and stop my view from being zoomed in and out. All at the same time!! LOL. I still have a lot to learn in the sim and so I would appreciate any ideas from you. Thanks...Kenny. p.s. I should have said that this is in the default Cessna172 G1000 screens.
