I don't recall seeing this in the past but as I use the drone to check out an airport I am seeing parked aircraft (all MSFS default aircraft), sink into the ground and sort of bounce back up. Need to double check is this just happening at 3rd party airports or all airports. Is anyone else seeing this? FYI - have the latest update installed.

Hey everyone, One of the best & most useful pop-up gauges in FSX was Glenn Copeland's Cockpit Commander (pic below). This little thing made entering ALT, HDG, CRS, VS, IAS & radio frequencies a breeze. For example to set ALT to 20,000 feet you just press the [2] followed by [0] and then press the [K] button and boom 20,000 is set the ALT. No crazy pressing or scrolling painful rotary manipulators. Same for stuff like headings, VS etc. Is there such an addon for MSFS? A sort of "Universal autopilot" with similar input functionality? Thanks 🙂

For reasons not my fault my former xbox Live account is frozen. I would really love to be able to use this sim. Is there no way at all I can buy or use MSFS without a live account? I have no interest at all in multiplayer. Just to fly on my own with AI or Vatsim if it is ever included in Vatsim network. On Steam there is a box which says xbox Live required. On the MS site there is a link to join Live followed by Or and a download link. Does that mean I can buy it but when I load it I could only fly offline without sign into Live or is Live necessary to even load the sim? I won't waste $60 on a sim I can't use. Thanks

So far, AWD and Pilots' have locked their folders to Community, and I cannot add and remove them at my desire through Symbolic Links. This forces TNCM and KCDK to be loaded no matter where I am flying in the world. I do NOT like that. Is there a way to move these folders where I want. Everything else moves and is managed by @Bad_T's amazing AddOn Manager program. All the premier scenery developers- FlightBeam, FSDT, FlyTampa, Orbx, LVFR and many others have figured out that it is important to give the USER flexibility. These two have a lock symbol and apparently need special treatment. Thanks for any solution. C

Both the great Savage Grravel (yes, Grravel) and Savage Carbon mods have been updated to include the latest Asobo aerodynamics tweaks, and the trim / balance issue has been fixed (which was the only issue I had). Everything went OK with the new update 4, but yesterday I couldn start MSFS anymore, at the last steps of the process it CTD everytime.- None of the usual solutions worked, so I uninstalled and reinstalled MSFS.- The basic install worked OK, buy when I redownloaded all my addons available from Simmarket, the problem was again present.- I dont know why, but I was suspicious about the Aerosoft CRJ downloaded from the Simmarket, so I deleted its file at the MSFS Onestore folder, and now all is OK, but I have no more that aircraft.- Is there a way to fix it ? I am running Windows 10 (latest update) and used FS2020 successfully since Nov 2020. A few CTD's but without too many hic-ups. I have been away from the computer for a month and on my return fs2020 went into an immediate CTD without even starting up. I did not even get a chance for the last major update to get installed. A black window for 10 seconds and gone. After spending hours trying to resolve that, I finally uninstalled MSFS2020 wanting to reinstall it. I went back to the MS store and figured out how to load the installer at 1.6 GB and pressed Launch to make things happen. So after reading all those endless debates "sim vs game" that pops out once in a while, I decided to share my personal experience here. Last year I opted to suspend my CFI activities due to covid situation. Having one immunocompromised and another cancer survivor members in my family I didn't think twice about my decision. I only flew for currency and occasionally did some BFR for my friends, but wasn't as active as before. However, as long time sim addict I didn't want to remain idle. Jumping a boat of newly released MSFS I have spend tons of my free time keeping myself busy in virtual skies. Not ideal but better than nothing! Back in my private pilot years …

A little info first, my RTX3080 had to be sent back (crashers) it use to let the VRAM mem temps get over 100F 106-108 sometimes. I make custom fans in MSI afterburner but I think the damage was done. New card never goes over 82F no matter what. All round seems so much better. So I loaded up MSFS everything back to Ultra and went flying. Addon airport fine, super smooth, on route in the middle of nowhere stutters, WHAT! WHY? coming to a town and another addon airport all returns to super smooth. So why? I did a flight today and saw the same thing so i bought up dev mode and saw CPU bound, bought up open resource monitor and saw the main core that MSFS likes …

I have read answers to posts concerning the necessity of the xbox Live account to use MSFS. I have read answers that state the pc version does not require a live account in order to fly solo IE not on their network. Is their anyone who purchased MSFS and flies it single player without a Live account? Only multiplayer I might do is Vatsim which is not MS.

I have created multiple profiles for my honeycomb single/multi engine, helicopters and so on. Every so often they get mixed up! For example twin engine profile shows single engine leverage assignments and so on. Initially, I thought I'm just getting mixed up. But now I convinced it has become a pattern ! Also I have noticed that as less I use some control profile as more probability that next time it will be mixed up when load it. After the last update , I renamed and redid most of profiles and today my single engine profile got mixed with with twin engine one LOL. Does anyone notice anything like that or is that something has to be with my system?

Everytime I open a new session of the sim i have reapply the filters. I dont think it used to be like this? I have applied the filters and quit the game normally after so to make the filters stick but it didnt work. Normally I quit the sim using alt f4.

Hi all It's me again! I have the Logitech (Saitek) Switch, radio and multi panels. I am trying to get them to work in MSFS (2020). I had them working fine in FSX. Here is what I have done: 1. Watched pilot Studd's video 2. downloaded the latest plug in available. 12/2020 3. Installed said plugin 4. In control panel set power management NOT to turn them of to save power. 5. I am pleased to invite you to a search and rescue event that will take place in Croatia. The task of this community event will be to find 30 ships, 15 planes, 10 people, that were lost in the storm and deal with and 10 random event. It will also be able to search for other stuff and do lot of ,story missions". It is such a CO-OP project. There are people from different parts of the world, so it probably wouldn’t be possible to fly at once. So the SAR starts 08.06.2021 18:00 UTC and ends when all assets are found. Seen a couple of reports that Milviz have announced that the C310 is on hold due to techincal issues but I can't find confirmation of this from a primary source. Anybody heard anything official on this ? (Huge disappointment if this is the case, but that's life I guess)
