Could not wait for KPWK since Asobo or whoever created this busy airport really did it really poorly. So just purchased it and ran to my C172 like I had done over 15 years ay the real KPWK and just when I was going to hit the big yellow FLIGH NOW, the sim crashed? After 3 more tries with no other add ons I freaked out and deleted the new KPWK I started up the sim and back to normal. So, I would like to see if this was just my system or is there a serious bug here.

Mods - if this should be moved, please remove/delete/move... I am running the Logitech Yoke. From any real world pilots...would you have some ball park settings for GA aircraft? I'm not looking for perfect, and I am not creating a separate profile for a 152, 172, Beech 36, and 58. I just have no idea if the plane should barrel roll with a few degrees of deflection, or hardly move. I don't want to kick off a firestorm that MSFS is terrible (I think it is fantastic). In the MISC. options section of the keyboard controls there are 3 selections under COCKPIT INTERACTION - primary, secondary, and tertiary - described as defining primary interactions with instruments.This makes no sense to me. How can entering keystrokes define any unspecified action? Thanks

Forced to a higher altitude today for terrain - as I passed through a cloud layer I prepared to battle the standard dreaded coating of thick ice. Instead, I got a thin bit of translucent ice on the windscreen and a little on the side window - couldn't see any on the airframe. After I passed through the layer (it was moderate), the small amount I had accumulated disappeared. I picked up some more on the descent as I passed through a similar layer, but it was also light and dissipated as I continued the descent. Is there a Fix for the CRJ to stop the constant CTD's after updating from the Market place ? My sim will crash every time before the main menu loads with the CRJ installed. Un-install the CRJ and sim works fine ! Ask one question about the CTD at Aerosoft and get reply from Mathis Kok - "Check other topics on forums".

I didn't think MSFS would even allow it, but tonight I made a belly landing in the Longitude. I was surprised. So a bit later, I tried it again at another field, same aircraft. Crash! Very odd.

I've been running in 4k resolution in MSFS for sometime and rarely dropped below 35FPS but then went down to QHD and now rarely go below 60FPS where I have the sim locked. It still looks exceptional but was wondering what others prefer. My screen is a 43" Samsung flat panel. Cheers bs

I made an unlikely discovery this afternoon when tweaking my graphics settings. Like many people, I'd been suffering performance issues since the last two sim updates. (Please note that I said "sim updates," rather than "world updates.") One particularly bad FPS area for me was Atlanta-Hartsfield. Where I'd previously been getting a smooth 30FPS, I was now creeping along at an unusable 10FPS anywhere around the Atlanta region. Other heavy areas, such as NYC and LA, were likewise giving me performance issues where I'd experienced no such performance problems prior to the last two sim updates. I’m slowly learning how to fly the CRJ. Today I did a 500-mi IRF flight where everything went well except this: my cruise altitude (as determined by MSFS) was FL400. I climbed to FL300 smoothly, but once I got beyond that the aircraft really started struggling to climb. I lost airspeed quickly and even at max power I could barely climb. Finally I asked ATC to give me a lower cruise altitude and settled at FL300. What’s also strange is that the aircraft would struggle, struggle and then for about a minute or so it would start performing better. I’d gain a couple thousand feet but then it would start struggling again. I had power on the climb detent in…

I LOVE MSFS. This is not a crissum. It's a question. I feel like during one of the updates or during one of my settings changes, I've made the clouds slightly pixelated. Is there a particular setting I set to MAX to improve the pixilation of my clouds?

I like the look of this. It randomises weather but in a way that you can always fly. (No severe winds etc.) I don't fly with live weather myself (as it doesn't always turn up to meet me! 😀), and I get bored of the usual pre-selected weather, but this app looks interesting, and I'm going to give it a try. Experienced a first for me - flew into KPTV (Porterville, CA) yesterday and there were no buildings at the airport. There were some rather unique green tarmacs (and runway) and it appeared that all taxiways were in place but not a single office or hangar. I went back to KPTV later to begin another flight and, voila! The airport was populated with buildings. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry if this has been posted before...but now, that Mike Randazzo spoke about the PMDG products to be released on the MSFS I wonder: will FSLabs bring their A320 / A321 to the MSFS, too? I haven't found any statement by them in the internet. I mean, no matter if you like the MSFS or not, when PMDG comes to the MSFS I think that will be a reason for many more to switch platform. And didn't Randazoo mention that regarding the SDK, they work together with Asobo? Would love to fly their Airbus on the MSFS 🙂 But in the meantime I will use the FBW plane, which is absolutely great...and who knows? Over in the MSFS forums, there is a very interesting thread about the MSFS flight model. Some posters in that thread, who seem to have a knowledge of the physics/mathematics with aerodynamics, are saying that MSFS actually has a better flight model than X-Plane. The thread in the MSFS forums is here. So I am not an aeronautical engineer and I do not know the details about the physics/mathematics involved for aerodynamics. Almost one year passed since the release of MSFS. And i still do not see any useful utilities addon. For example: AI traffic with liveries and schedules (i.e.: UT Live) "Career-Company like" utility (i.e.: FSPassengers. Please don't tell there are some: nothing available today is acceptable) Proper camera management (i.e.: Chaseplane) ...and a lot more that have already been developed for FSX or P3D, and work very well. For this reasons mainly i quitted playing MSFS, hoping something will come out, but at this point i quit my hopes. Is it really this hard to code addons for MSFS? Just wondered whether anyone has seen these two phenomena. 1. Since the update I cannot turn off landing lights in any plane whether with a switch or mouse. This happened so far in the CC cub, Caravan and TBM - only mods WT G1000/3000. IN addition cannot switch on Yaw Damper in the Caravan 2. This is no different to previous versions - but teeing me orf just a bit. Pure driven snow on the ground Sion Switzerland in sunshine and air temperature 20 C. Same in Bella Coola Canada temperature 9 C. Both are add on airports (Orbx) so maybe I'll try to deactivate them them. Minor points after what I've been through though

Just a very quick question: in the default A320 Neo, could you have the Master Caution or Master Warning alarm turn on? Even in final approach with gear up, you have a warning that does not trigger this Master Warning... I tried some actions to trigger the Master Warning (red) but couldn't get it to turn on. It seems the Master Warning button on the front panel is just decoration 🙂
