This sim is really heating up. Not only the performance patch incoming this month but a high fidelity Airbus and PC-24 in the works as well. I am always on the lookout for quality airliners and Jets. Is any developer working on a 737-Max?! Pmdg? I also saw in a recent update I think the 5th top most voted feature was the Scenery Gateway. If they could get that into the sim and so that users can use all the great freeware available on sites like flightsim.to, that would be huge. Amazon have it for £99.99 but Box.co.uk have it for £79.99 with free delivery by Friday. Have used Box many times in past. EDIT To be clear the HOTAS One is the one that you need to work on XBOX for the new XBOX version of MSFS coming out later this month. Hi Guys, I know, I know -- we've all seen a bunch of these posts, but I'm truly at my wits end. I think I've tried nearly everything to stop the CTD's without error messages. They're so bad and frequent at times, that it will often just reset the computer all together. I've tried adding my virtual memory, turned off game mode, run as administrator, made sure all my drivers and software is up-to-date, repair, reset and reinstall. The CTD's still keep happening. Here's the kicker. It's a pretty good system and I'm only running it at 1080p with default everything. The sim will crash with blue skies in the middle of nowhere. Hi, I hope this is the right place for a question about my problem. I'm using MSFS with Flybywire A32nx with the autopilot switched on, when i move my mouse cursor to use other functions in the cockpit, every time it switches my autopilot OFF! Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have tried to make many flights using the world map set up and Simbrief. It turns off every time. Thank you.

I read about the X box version and it mentions that MS2020 has an offline mode. Just wondering if anyone has tried running in this mode on pc, and if so what the experience is like regarding scenery, textures, weather etc ? I realise that it is still necessary to be online to start the sim, and I could manage that, but having a very poor internet speed (less than 10mb sec) I have been reluctant to buy MS2020 for full use. Also is it possible to download and store specific areas on disc to then run offline? Thanks for any info

I purchased MSFS last week and have set about adding some of the fantastic free addon scenery areas. Only to find that my sim is not virtually unplayable as it takes 20 minutes to even load. Admittedly, I do have the scenery stored on a HDD, as I do plan to change PC at some point and use M.2 nvme drives, but even so, I I thought FS9 was slow but this is ridiculous! Luckily I added them using the linker system so I have been able to deselect area, but every time I make a change, it then seems to take just as long to load - perhaps the game is indexing the sceneries each time. Hi, please if someone with more experience than me to help me use the right screen resolution in MSFS 2020 for best performance and experience. My tv monitor is a 4K and in both windows 10 pro and Nvidia control panel for my GTX 1080 ti is at 3840x2160 (native) as recommended. In MSFS 2020 General settings at 3840x2160 I have FPS reduction less tha 30. The choices I have to select are 1. 2048x2160 2. 2560x1440 3. 2560x1600 4. 3840x2160 Please help me choose the one you think is the better. Thank you, Georgios

When I stand at Save airport ESGP(493 feet) in Sweden and press B, the height is shown as 7500 feet. This also applies if I have live weather. What does this depend on and has anyone experienced this. Of course, I have tried with other airports with the same results. /Thomas

...all airports on final? The bigger the airport, the worse it gets. I flew in to KSFO today, all was fabulous until maybe 6-10m out then frames dropped bigtime despite ample CPU/GPU headroom (RTSS reported). Same same into small airport, KTRM in Palm Springs south. Seems like the sim must be loading the airport itself. If so that is something I hope that can be optimized if it's common for others as it is for me.

One thing I'm not happy with in MS2020 is that contrast in lighting when looking down into the cockpit. The scene out the window bleaches out to light up the cockpit, then when one looks up there is a fade in so that the view out the window looks better. However, then the cockpit goes darkened. Is there a cure for this behaviour? here are views both north and south same place, same altitude, 11am near Port Hardy BC. Bryan

So, up until recently I have been a major skeptic of MSFS, only because I've been burned with FSW and MS Flight, but it's been so bad at times, I've been sent to time out. Then this morning I realized that I haven't flown a flight simulator not titled MSFS 2020 in almost a month! The last couple of weeks have been a blast. Now, I'm all-in on MSFS and I'm really looking forward to the next update. I have searched and was unable to find any information on the development of UTLive or UTLive alternative software for MSFS20. To refresh your memory, UTLive had real world liveries and real world schedules. It really made your airports come alive. Have you guys heard anything regarding the development of this type of addon?

As a contrast to https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/603079-whats-the-most-beautifully-detailed-city-in-msfs/, what part of the world you want to fly in has the absolute worst graphics and/or autogen scenery? For me, it's the Maldives. As soon as Aerosoft releases the Twin Otter, I will float my way around the Maldives, but I wish the graphics were much much better.

This is bothering me for a long time. I can't see any buttons or switches in TBM VC at night. Since this is my favorite default aircraft I know where to click but it would be nice if at least a little would be visible. Is this maybe an issue of my monitor calibration or everybody experience the same problem? If this is by design... what the heck? Also, there's no cockpit light in the default TBM, right? I was using the mixMugz mod but it wasn't updated since March and it doesn't include the recent turboprops improvements and in some occasions it causes CTD since the last sim update, I stopped using it until it gets updated (if it gets updated).

Hy guys i had mfsf since december 2020 never had a problem been away on a airplane contract for 6 weeks on return started to play and had 3 freeze while playing yesterday mfsf wont event start .
