What do you guys think of this product? Looks pretty good! But I think the price is too high.

I haven't used FS202 in a couple of months. I tried to open it up and it loads to a scenic screen that says "press any hey to start". I do that and it goes to a dialog box that says "Welcome Back, username (with my usename)" with a green bar that says "Let's Go!". I click that bar and it cycles back to the scenic promo screen with "Press Any Key". So it loops between those. I have flown successfully with it many times, but just haven't done so in quite awhile. Anyone else notice a strange graphic anomaly when viewing aircraft from exterior view when rocking the wings? Look near wing tips.

Hi everyone! So I am very intrigued at the fix below that is coming soon. PC Simmers with graphics set to Ultra will experience this when panning the camera around very quickly. We are working on a new option that will allow you to customize how much off-screen scenery will be cached. We are aiming for this to be released on August 24th (World Update 6). When I have a LOD of 2, it is fairly smooth, however, I get a lot of blurries. When I have a LOD of 5, things look better and sharper but I get a lot of stutters when I pan around. My question is, how is that slider going to work and do exactly. And what do they mean by customize how much off-screen scene…

I recently submitted a support request to Zendesk about the issue shown in the video. I understand that cliffs and low LOD mesh always take longer to load, but in this case, the loading is taking place almost when you're on top of the cliffs! As expected, the response was to follow the usual checks such as empty the community folder, update the sim, check for third party conflicts, etc etc. After followimng the advice, I still have exactly the same issue. I have been on YouTube and seen similar videos from other posters, but not a lot of people seem to be talking about the 'elephant in the room.' I have done a few RNAV approaches in the TBM 930, and the glide path is kinda erratic. I am approaching from a level altitude as per the chart and the purple diamond almost seemed to engage but then it jumped to the top. It shouldn't behave like that. I have not tried the G1000 but it may do the same. Greazer.

Anyone else seeing duplicate marketplace listings? For instance, all the Carenado aircraft except the C170B show up twice. Same with the ultralight boat, that 737 thing, the CRJ, etc.

Hi folks, Firstly, I really don't know anything about Azure or the text-to-speech system in MSFS, so forgive me if this is a stupid question! Is it possible to use the "offline" text-to-speech for ATC, using voice sets installed on my PC, in order to get different accents for the ATC? In other words, my PC has a number of voice pack installed with Windows, EG.... "British George" etc. Is there any way to use these for the ATC? TIA.

Yea, since SU5 I have not seen any AI or any real time live traffic (even at big airports). Everything is enabled in the UI, the only thing I do see is static parked traffic. I know some have this problem, but most don't. Is it something that has changed in a config file somewhere and maybe needs re-enabling, or is it yet another Asobo fix we are waiting for.? John.

Does anyone know of any apps/mods that will pause the sim at top of descent or a set distance from the destination airport? Thanks.

Short and sweet. I have a very capable and proven rig. I’ve been flying MSFS 2020 since release day and while it has not always performed “up to my expectations”, it was always been consistently smooth and stutter free. Now one year later the bloom is suddenly off the rose and the last few days of simming has been plagued with a subtle but consistently noticeable stutter 10 to 15 seconds apart. I am well aware it could be an add-on and am looking for suggestions on how to troubleshoot short of clearing them all out because I have quite a few. Is there an easy way to take the views from say Ctrl 1-0 (cockpit) and interior passenger view to map to a button on my Thrustmaster Hotas stick? I know there should be a way but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

I know how to use Google maps or an equivalent to find GPS coordinates so that I can depart from any place on earth. I love that aspect of the sim. My frustration is that the sim always starts you in the air at 1500 feet. I don't always want that; in fact I mostly DON'T want that. I'd like to have the option of starting on the ground, cold and dark if possible, but at the very least stationary. That's how I want to begin a flight, but I am not at all sure MSFS lets you do that. Can anyone advise me as to whether or not this is possible and if yes, how do I go about it? I set out in the C152 to do a few circuits of KRNT. Do a touch-and-go, then turn in for a full-stop landing. Everything's working fine. I exit the runway, tune to ground, and request taxi to parking. As occasionally happens in MSFS, the ground controller apparently came to work stoned, and, instead of assigning me a straight line taxi to GA, has be do a full lap around the perimeter of the airfield, including two runway crossings. A PitA, but I go along with it...only to find a minivan of some sort parked directly in my path along the taxi route south, probably between A5 and A6. I stop and wait for awhile. It doesn't move. All I have installed is the WU for the USA, and none for the others, though they are available. Now, if I never actually fly in Japan, Britain, France or any of the released World Updates, do I still need to install them? Perhaps if I read the release notes, I might find something that updates the sim outside of the region being installed, but I have yet to do so, so I wonder...

I've seen this strange squarish pattern before and they appear during night/dawn/dusk hours. I've also seen it on other planes such as the gotgravel vertigo. If I can recall, this strange texture appears when there's a source of light shining onto it. I've tried upgrading my graphics driver (clean install) and the issue is still there. Anyone know what the cause of this is and how to fix it? I can't fly at night due to this, it looks awful.
