Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello. I had been playing MSFS since its launch in the PC and decided to go to the Series X. Don’t get me wrong: it looked amazing! However after 2 weeks I saw its limitation. The graphs are not in Ultra, the anti aliasing/filtering are not the same as in the PC, stutters are still there and when flying over big cities like Paris and London, the FPS drops below 30. Also, the mouse interface is bad. It is indeed a very good game for Series X/S and a truly next-gen. Having it in a £249 console (Series S) is amazing. But I want more, more graphs, I want Orbx Sceneries, PMDG, I want my Logitech Panel to work, I want to not need to pay Xbox Gold to play onl…

Hello, nothing political I'm afraid, but I am having a few issues since the most recent update... I flew the captain sim 777 in MSFS from EPWA-KJFK, after flying for about 7 hours the engines just shut down, lost all controls, I had about 19.4 tons of fuel left, why did the engines shut down randomly?

When flying at night with VATSIM I'm not seeing aircraft position lights, beacon, etc. I can see the other aircraft taxiing, but no lights. Gotta be a setting somewhere, right? Flying the FBW A320

A new issue has popped up in that I can't seem to load an aircraft, even a 'simple' default aircraft like the C172 , into some of the Deluxe or Premium airports like KORD and KDEN. When I try to do so the Sim hangs (freezes) during the process of loading the aircraft onto the runway. Some other large airports, like KSFO and KJFK seem to work OK. So I was thinking it might be worth trying to delete and then reinstall the Deluxe and Premium MSFS content through the Content Manager (I don't see any way to select particular airports within the Deluxe or Premium content). Are there any precautions I should be aware of before doing this, or is there something else I should try…

I have a large area of Dublin, Ireland that is missing all buildings. It's flat and no autogen or PG buildings. Can anyone see if it's the same on their system? I tried deleting content.xml and the scenery indexes folder but no joy. Here's 2 pix. Edit: I also checked that data and PG was turned on and it was.

I am a user who loves to play in the simulator, because it "simulates" reality. MSFS does it great, and before it, I used P3D and FSX. I belong to the minority that loves to see airports full of planes that go in and out of it. Hi! Since Aerosoft finally has made msfs fun to fly again I have started once again reacting over how incredibly bad the live weather is, not even close to the real metar. Have anybody got any suggestions how you use this to make it as realistic as possible?

create a Community.zip archive and add your entire Community Folder contents. Then, you can delete all those files you have downloaded from various sources. If ever you need to reinstall, or whatever, merely use the Community.zip to repopulate your Community Folder. Done...

If I activate, for example, total failure of engine 1 in the menu Failures (engine failures etc) and I specify, for example, 10-30 minutes, the failure can always be felt from now on. This means that all failures occur before the start. But I want that, for example, in the middle of the flight there is a failure. Do you have to select the key and press save? I miss it. If I activate eg engine failure 6-6 minutes in the menu Failures. There is no save button. Just reset or close. Anyone else tried the TBM from C&D ? I simply cant move the throttle out of the feather to the Taxi/normal flight mode.

So I'm using the latest 152 mod from Flightsim.to. The latest version actually displays an additional aircraft in the sim, so I'm trying to "remove" the official one because I won't ever use it and trying to tidy up the aircraft selection screen. I've gone into the Content Manager in the sim and deleted the Asobo 152 (all variants) but it still shows in the Aircraft selection screen - any ideas?

I cannot capture the glideslope or glidepath on a ILS or RNAV approach in the TBM or the Longitude. Has anyone else noticed this. I just shot a approach in the King Air into KAUS and had no trouble at all capturing 18R. I guess this started after SU5. Frustrating as those are my 2 favorite aircraft to fly 😞

Hi, it is possible to use the function to download MSFS from microsoft directly if you have a boxed version of msfs? So could you use your key for the boxed version to create a online account and be able to download the core sim instead of using the dvd's?

I have premium version. Since SU5 when I land at Heathrow the runways are there but no buildings. Anyone else experience this? Btw..if I start at Heathrow everything is there.

Hi!, I have got many problems with the sim after the SU5 like others had and I hope most people have had got them fixed with hot fix 2. Unfortunately, I could not update to any of the fixes after a lot of hassles. Now a very peculiar problem for me.
