I read that switching servers helps with getting live weather to work. Where is this setting? Thanks. Jose

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I have the premium deluxe version (from Steam). I use Live traffic. I do not use Multiplayer. When at a large airport, I never see any 747's or 787's parked at the gates, or being used as live traffic. All I see are A320's, an occasional A380, and various small aircraft. I had taken about a half year off from flying my flight sims to pursue my other hobbies, as I am wont to do, and decided a week ago to fire up the flight sim again, and see what is new. in the past six months I would update my sim when large patches dropped, and do a few small circuits, but nothing hardcore. on Sunday, I attempted to update the sim, and in the process of doing that update, my PC did an abrupt and total hard crash and power down, such that I had to completely power cycle the PC in order to get it to start again. obviously this corrupted the update, so I deleted my MSFS installation and installed as new. Hi there, Recently I haven't been able to complete long-haul flights (7 hrs +) without some serious FPS degradation. I generally start with 80-100 and end up with 20 FPS. GPU utilization is generally around 90-100% at the beginning of the flight, however both CPU and GPU utilization drop to the teens as the FPS worsen. I've had this issue intermittently, whether using payware or stock aircraft. I've searched the internet for solutions and have tried a few things such as increasing the virtual memory (pagefile), but the problem mostly persists. There are hundreds of variables at play but I wonder if anyone else is encountering similar issues? …

What setting controls pixalation in the graphics? It seems my sim has gotten really pixelated/grainy over the last couple days, I don’t think I made any major changes in the settings, but I’m noticing a lot more “grainy-ness” with trees and ground. it seemed ok when I first installed the hotfix #2 but not so much anymore.

In SU4 Airport POIs usually popped at about 5nm while now in SU5 I had to disable them because screen is cluttered with symbols all over the scenery. Has anyone managed to set the distance at which POIs appear on screen?

I have heard it both ways, that people are still needing the driver but that others are uninstalling it. I have a Logitech Radio Panel arriving tomorrow and I wanted to get the informed consensus after SU5 and the latest hotfixes. Is that driver from the Logitech website still a requirement? My thanks in advance to anyone who cares to take a run at it.

Anyone else? I was on final this morning in the FBW A320 (stable) and it was placing me between 10L and November taxiway. Is it the airport or something off with the bird?

Until recently, I hadn't had any real issues with MSFS, though the various updates didn't seem to add a lot. But the last "update" has broken more than anything else, I've lost track of the number of things that are broken now. Recent airports no longer show CTDs Spoiler key doesn't work CTDs Longitude throttle levers don't move CTDs So many more!

Usually I don't have any CTDs, but now I became a victim of them, too - but only when the ground is snowy and I am on the ground (the rest of the weater is irrelevant). I have emptied my community folder completely, also disabled the G1000 mod. Has anybody else noticed that?

I'm pretty new to MSFS but have used FSUIPC in FSX / P3D for years. I "ported over" my P3D profiles but either the assignments and calibrations need significant change or the flight dynamics of the JF Turbo Arrow, {for example) are way too sensitive. I constantly get the nose oscillating way too much everytime an aileron input is made. I tried resetting to original MSFS controls (no profiles) and the controls seem better behaved but I want to use FSUIPC for individual aircraft profile etc. Can someone share with me their FSUIPC7.ini assignments that seem to work well. On some threads I see users accusing MFS of being an arcade sim.... Well, arcade or not, truth is it is a 1st time modeller of some interesting features never before modelled on either it's predecessors or XP, or even some professional / cetified sims. Entered a flight KOXC to KHFD, Set GPS Mode, Flight Plan shows in MFD, but the DIST is blank in the PFD. Shows KOXC - KHFD and no distance displayed. Took a screen shot but I don't know how to post it on here. Insert from URL ? ? ? Image is on my desk top. Also in the 182 I can't adjust the distance in or out with the Garmin distance knob. When I put my mouse cursor on or by the knob, nothing. Should show a rotation arrow but it doesn't show. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Walt (Happy Flying)

I had this problem with FSX and I don't recall the solution. I can hear all of the aircraft sounds but I can't hear my AI co pilot or ATC talking. What is the correct setting please? Windows 10 PC.

Was wondering if weather radar is operational in the stock A320 and the FlybyWire mod.Looking at some of the forums they say to set it to WX-T and select #1 system. That's the way I have it set and cannot get it to work. I've used the other setting but just cant get it to work. What can I be doing wrong. Thanks for the replies in advance.

If you have an RTX 3000 series you may want to try this. I did a quick test with MSFS and it does not seem to make any difference. ...pretty astonishing: Metacritic on Xbox - 91 (same score as on the PC, by the way). This highly regarded console release represents nothing else than flight-simulation coming back into the mainstream. The overall positivity, curiosity and engagement of newcomers in the other forums and gaming communities that I participate are a joy to see! While the mood has not been the best lately on Avsim, I am very happy with SU5 + hotfixes and trust Asobo to address the pressing issues some may still be facing.
