Is there any way around the oscillation climbing to altitude?

Hi,I seem to have this issue on heavy division 787 only,I have checked that there are no duplicate control assignments on my logitech joystick ,and X52 hotas joystick,and there are none. I have just come back to my computer,and found my flight 7000 feet above the Pacific from 38000, with full flaps and spoilers. I am continuing the Flight from PANC to RTCP, after disconnecting all controller's. Will update when I get home from work.

I was curious to know if this will be made for MSFS. The aircraft lighting can definitely use some improvements. Especially the horrible looking nav lights looking like squares in the distance. Really kills the immersion of night/dawn/dusk flying. Also would love to see more realistic strobe patterns depending on the aircraft as well. Something along the lines of these

So, I started recently using OnAir as a mission generator utility and have just bumped into their aircraft usage chart. The difference between MSFS and XP11/P3D aircraft is absolutely astonishing. Is there anybody that knows how to get good modelmatching to work in mfs? ive tried the ivao pack but i cant get it to work.

Seeing that SU5 works so well for how I fly in MSFS 2020, just for kicks I set both terrain and object LOD settings to 6 (600 in-game, though only possible using the UserCfg.opt file) and did my KBUR to KSNA flight to see how it goes, in a Waco YMF-5 at 6k'. Holy Mother of Pearl...ground detail for as far that it's practical to see (truly puts 2/2 to shame)! But it's anything but smooth, using the sim's 30 fps vsync. Other than having terrain vector data, texture resolution, text synthesis, ambient occlusion set to Ultra, all my setting are set to High. See my computer specs in my signature. Well, this is a bit of a story - a bit of a long read, but with a nice positive ending for me at least! After a tortuous time with the SU5 and hotfix updates (each of which made things slightly better), I was on the verge of giving up, with constant CTD's, some after only a minute of flying, one after about 20 minutes (my record for SU5), and one even while the sim was paused! Hi all, I admit first of all that I went to the Aerosoft forums and complained today. I was really unhappy that the CRJ has never really worked well for me, and when I saw a number of topics locked from complaining customers with rude responses I wrote my own. My experience there involved a senior member of the team, and then a developer, mocking me despite clearly being very bothered about spending a fair amount of money on a plane that doesn't work. Hi All My sim is updated to SU5 with both hotfixes and I have checked my content manager to ensure everything is there. However when I load Lands End Airport in the UK I just get the original base scenery rather than the graded scenery of this location that came with the UK World Update. Can anyone help me check why this is please?

So an interesting discussion arose in the A2A & QualityWIngs thread, and I think this deserves a thread of its own. I have read in the past that Microsoft/Asobo won't allow 3rd party devs to override the flight model in MSFS. Maybe they said that in at Twitch Q&A before - I can't recall, since there were so many Twitch Q&As already. But obviously, some 3rd party dev aircraft/helicopters are obviously using their own custom flight model. Flying the CRJ700 from KSFO to KLAX, hit the escape key and entered the CONTROLS OPTION. It showed "Loading" for probably 10 seconds (longer than it used to), then brought up the attached controllers. When I selected the Bravo Throttle Quadrant, it allowed me to select the aircraft but when I tried to select a setting (i.e. Autopilot) nothing happened. I could not select any settings from that screen, Power Management etc. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if there is a fix to it. Thanks.

Over the past few days I've been looking to get my Android tablet set up as an input device to MSFS2020. Anyone seeing disappearing squares around the aircraft while sitting on the ramp at certain airports? Since SU5 at airports like Ft. Lauderdale Exec (KFXE) have this problem. Sitting at the hangers over on the south east side of the airport black squares appear on the ground as if the elevation got screwed up or something. It's really bad on the south ramp at KIMM.

So when I’m in the sim, my GPU (RTX 2070S) runs at 100% Utilisation and records a sustained temp of 83C. I’m not an expert but it concerns me if I had to do a long haul with these temps. I have tried using both Vsync and the Nvidia control panel to limit FPS to bring the temps down but neither seem to have any impact. Is this a safe temp for a long haul flight and if not then does anyone have any suggestions for lowering the temp other than shutting the game off? Thanks.

Hi guys First of all I would like to say how much I am impressed my Microsoft flight simulator 2020. Not to say it doesn’t have issues but it’s new so of course. I think this was to be expected and they will be fixed. This simulator is years ahead of anything we have ever had. I CANNOT wait for PMDG as i seem to struggle with the default planes I noticed in the settings that bing data is turned off by default? I turned it on and it says it will use a lot of data. Is there a reason it’s off by default? Surely it’s meant to be on to keep the sim looking amazing

After the update it seems... Anyone else see this? Only seen at certain altitude then disappears.

I have been switching around with different aircraft since Su5 and the hot fixes, and I discovered something. I enjoy flying the Seminole and JF Arrow because it allows me to see the scenery really up close as I fly. When I fly the DC6, although it is a great plane to fly, I find that at the typical altitudes of high teens, the scenery doesn't look as great as it does at several thousand feet. . Wonder if anyone else feels that way about the views in MSFS at lower altitudes.

Hey all, I've never been a bush flyer in FS (been simming since 2003). I've always been a point to point GA or Airline flyer. But having seen the Juan Browne videos on YouTube, I fancy trying some bush flying, in small aircraft like the cubs or Aviat (rather than for example, Caravan and larger bush work). Can anyone recommend either;- Some regions, areas, airfields in the vanilla sim, or Some payware or freeware mods that provide a suitable bush flying arena? I've been looking at the Okavango Delta package in the Marketplace, which looks superb, but before I pull the trigger, I wanted to get some advice from you wonderful people. 😃

Wow, I never noticed the people in the waiting area. See screenshot. They are actually walking up and down, and the people look a hell of a lot better than the geriatric OMSI grandmas from P3D. Must say, I'm impressed.

Hello, I come across so many airports that have interior modelling but missing one thing for that extra immersion and that is airport announcements including not leave bags unattended lol and maybe add passenger ambiance sounds as well Is is possible with current sdk?

I've started seeing something odd, and wondering if it's just me. Starting in NYC, then following the Hudson to the NE, I start seeing some odd things in the water. A bridge that doesn't go all the way across, lots of buildings and cars in the water, and a few other bits of scenery too, especially right beside the bridge (if I knew what bridge it was, I'd say so as to be more specific.)

I upgraded from my RTX 2080 8 GB Nvidia card to an RTX 3080 TI 12 GB very recently Under SU5 my original card gave me decent performance at 1440p (roughly 80 on the slider) at High settings. I could maintain 30 Fps locked 90- percent of the time except over Manhattan and London - with the Nvidia Control panel general options for refresh rate set to 60Hz . I curbed my desire to set the Video Option to 4k Res because the card fans screamed too loud and gave me micro hesitations and long pauses. With the New (Admittedly expensive graphics card) - I have my settings on Ultra - at 4k . Set up a flight over Manhattan, and I am happy to report that locked at 30 FPS (…
