Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am still having the massive frame drop upon landing the FBW a320. I tired the default 320 and no issue. same for the 747 and CRJ. I can get it to stop. Is there a complete uninstaller for a320? Also I have the bravo, is there any way to get the FBWa320 to have a larger increment/decrement like the default a320 for hdg, alt, atc.?

Does it change with the seasons? I know water ports are displayed on the map.

Anyway to get the new version of the CRJ if you bought at Simmarket, they still have the old version. Maybe just download the updateder?

I thought perhaps it was the regional wildfire smoke being picked up, but that is not the case. This was around Pisa Italy, and I switched to Clear Skies from Live, w/ aerosols down to the lowest setting and this is what it looks like. IMO one ought to be able to dial it completely out as desired, whereas I can appreciate Live Weather should be as close to reality as able. If enough agree here I can put it on a votable wish list item:

Hi, does anyone know where this is? It's shown while waiting for the Fly Now button from time to time and looks impressive. It would be generally helpful to have captions instead of the numer of built Cessnas, but I assume Asobo has bigger fish to fry right now. Thanks and kind regards, Michael

Can I assume all the WT mods (G1000/3000, G3X) are no longer needed because they have now become part of the basic sim? And what other 'common mods' might no longer be needed with SU5? Thx, Al

Hi, After refresh install of IVAO Altitude [MSFS] I can't see text messages (UNICOM etc) on my screen. Which setting I should change on MSFS UI or CFG? I have tried to find but no success. *Somehow I couldn't post on IVAO forum about this issue. My account times out regularly whic prevent me writing there. That is why I'am seeking any possible help here.Kind regards.

I just landed at Barcelona airport (in the sim naturally) and had to stop and wait for instructions to any gate and previously selected for those orrible blue arrows to appear, which annoy me no end. As I was cursing under my breath I remembered the one thing I liked in Xplane were the “follow me” cars which were a not very good, but just adequate add on. Has anybody seen an add on for MSFS which offers “Follow me” cars?

Have any of you heard any news from these 2 developers regarding MSFS development? I miss their 172's and 182's and the QW787. It's been a year that MSFS has been out and no word yet.

Hello. I am trying to use spadnext to control a touch panel. I also have a logitech autopilot panel which I enabled with the logitech msfs2020 device plugin. Spadnext says I need to unload the plugin so there isn't a conflict. How do I do that? With p3d there was a menu item to deal with plugins but I can't find anything like that with MSFS. I tried rerunning the plugin installer thinking there might be a uninstall option but no luck. Is there some deeper hidden menu for fs2020 that allows disabling plugins? Thanks, Jeff

I've noticed that the taxi bug is back with the baron and bonanza. It's very difficult to get rolling, as if the parking brake is on. Anybody else?

Has anyone ever explained what the spinning white circle on the lower right of the screen is for? Even when I am taxiing to the runway, it pops up about every 10 seconds. I can't figure out what the purpose of it is.

Hi, are you able to spot animals after SU5? I tried today Rijeka seagulls and geese and African rhinoceros locations but they were deserted. I also tried to reset the fauna slider with no avail.

Hi guys, anyone else ? I mostly set my autobrake button on the A320 on middle for Landing, and as i know some time ago if you press the Brakes on landing autobrake did go off. That dosen`t work now, no matter what buttons i press witch are set for autobrake at my controller`s or pushing num delete ( what is set to brakes ) it stays to on, only goes to off by direct press the autobrake button.. Is there a way without to push the button direct so it goes to off ? ( controller would be fine ) I often watch the landings from outside and than push my button on the controller to shot off the autobrake but i see no chance at the moment to do so.. …

I'm a previous owner of FSX and interested in getting FS2020. My Son want's to buy it for me as a gift but he lives in USA and I live in Australia. Looking at the description of the installation and registration procedures, it is somewhat confusing for me regarding the possibility of gifting it internationally. He doesn't think he can buy it in USA as a gift for Australian use and I don't know what is possible if purchased as a gift on Steam. I'm concerned at references to the registration procedure requiring the original purchaser's address. Is there anyone who can advise what is possible? Thanks, Warren.

I'm wondering if they have some way of updating certain things without us actually manually downloading? When HF2 came out I was getting CTD's pretty regularly. Now I haven't had a CTD in 3 days and the sim seems to be running much better.

hello guys, havent had much time to play since SU5 but i loaded a flight this evening and i see this at LSGG : Texture is all messed up over the airport (i have 0 addon), like if it was all covered by a blank 'something'. Could someone check on their machine if they see the same thing because it looks really ugly (i hope it's an issue everyone has because it would mean it will be fixed, otherwise i would have no clue where to start to fix). sorry if it's a known 'beaten to death' issue, haven't done much reading recently 🙊 thank you 🍻

I installed the MOD & the PFD & IRS never align? HELP!!

Just fired up FS2020 after a week. Immediate CTD. I never get CTD's. Dug into things and found it was a driver update from ASUS and an app that auto-installed on my system. Something called A-volute. Uninstalled it and FS came up fine. Hope this helps someone. My suspicions are a lot of CTDs are from clashes with drivers or apps like this.
