Last time I was flying, I wasn't paying attention and crashed. The logbook said the nearest place was 4NJ2. So the next time I loaded up the sim, I searched for that location. The search turns up no such place!

Please can someone help me , I'm going nuts. 28th july began downloading the 5th update. All went well, and then got a powercut nearly half way. Turned the pc windows 10 back on, and ever since it's been checking for updates in installation manager for hours. Can anyone help, I just dont know what to do. I'm not very technical when it comes to a pc, so go easy on me. I deleted the discs and then reinstalled all 10, but still doing the same. It must be something I'm not doing in microsoft store. Any that can help will make my day. Thanks Ian

Does anyone have experienced the same as I did 10 minutes ago? I had started a flight with the DC-6 and then paused the sim for around 2 hours (using esc button), after continuing the flight I had decreased airspeed and noticed that some engines had failed. Then the aircraft was barely controlable and crashed into the sea. Is there a known issue about pausing the sim and disfunctionalities?

How would it be possible to save a Airbus A32NX dev flight in the FS2020 simulator so that the flight plan and other settings entered on the flight computer would be preserved when the download of the same flight is restarted?

Here is Saint-Jean-en-Royans airport created by Claude Roure. The aerodrome of Saint-Jean-en-Royans, located at the foot of the Vercors, is of restricted use. Light aviation and gliding are practiced there. A 667 m grass runway with a delicate approach over the hills in 32 with northerly winds. https://www.simvol.org/en/downloads/airports/saint-jean-royans

Since the last developer's update to this aircraft the Elevator Trim Wheel is frozen; it won't move with the mouse or by the Trim devices on my Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle. Has anyone else had this problem?

Had an interesting thing happen in the sim today. Wanting to fly the DC Designs F-14, I chose Oceana NAS in Virginia as my departure. Zooming in to find a ramp parking space, I saw a little plane icon on a space and decided to chose a parking spot close by. When I hit fly and the aircraft loaded, I turned my head to see another F-14 several parking spots over. As I was going through the before start checklist, the plane disappeared for about a minute then reappeared. I have never had this happen before. Someone else wanted an appropriate setting to try out the F-14. I was hoping that I would have someone to fly with but it was not to be. He/she disappeared a couple of mi…

Anyone get a pop up since SU5 saying some issue (sorry can't remember) with Azure and the ATC voice changes. It sounds like kids talking to one another. Any fix?

One thing that tended to stop my immersion was using a mouse pointer when turning knobs, clicking buttons and the like inside a beautiful 3D cockpit. Hence, one of the reasons I built a cockpit to use my own hands to make adjustments. That got me to thinking, is there any animated hands that can be used instead of a cursor? I'm not talking about the micro-size hands that change from an arrow when turning a knob, but a relatively "life-size" hand (maybe even part of the arm as well), that extends from off screen where your body is seated and angled correctly that looks like your own hand is making the adjustments? Possible? Would simmers be interested in something lik…

Hello - I am having an issue I have never had before. I have now tried five times in a row to open MSFS, and each time it crashes before I get to the main screen. I use the addon linker and disabled all of my addons, and still it crashes. I have rebooted twice and still it crashes. This is very puzzling. Has anyone had this issue and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Pete

So as a software developer myself, I always suspected there was no way Asobo would allow users to stay on an older version of MSFS. Anyways, we don't need to guess why anymore. Matt from Working Title has provided a technical answer on why Microsoft/Asobo cannot allow users to stay on older versions of MSFS, and why users must update to the latest version of MSFS each time an update is released: So for those who want to stay on an older version of MSFS because you think it's more stable, forget it, it will never happen. Instead, if you want a more stable release, the most productive way forward is to push Asobo to implement an "opt in" beta for every player in …

Will I ever fly here? Curiosity says yes, maybe once or twice, but the completionist in me, that wants the whole world in my sim, appreciates detail in an area that would probably otherwise remain the barest of default. Welcome to Kabul
