I have been an Airbus fan for years. For this reason, I have an Airbus RMP device from CockpitSonic. In the old days, I have developed a plug-and-play driver so that the device works seamlessly with the Wilco Airbus Series I have developed with FeelThere. It obviously does not work in MSFS. Today, I have developed an external software that manages the RMP and it works with MSFS, with any aircraft. If you have that hardware device and you are interested in that software, I will be happy to share it. Just contact me. Eric

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, You are cordially invited to a Friday night community bush flight. The host will be GunPilot399. It should be an interesting tour, as GunPilot happens to be a retired Australian bush pilot. (And a half dozen or so of the group are from Aus.) We use discord to post weekly event notifications, flight plans, and to communicate while we fly. However, I understand that many hate discord. Which is no problem, I can sympathize. Good thing is, you don't have to use Discord if you choose to fly along with us. All you have to do, if so inclined, is spawn at YMFD on the Southeast Asia Server at the time posted above. …

When I open Programs & Features in Control Panel, I see three different versions of SimConnect installed. Is this normal? Should I uninstall all but the highest version number? Thanks in advance.

Whenever I update my flight plan and get in the air, I get the option for "fast traveling". However, when I attempt to do this I seem to always start back at the "start up destination". Is there anyway around this?

Hi, I have 2 questions about views: 1. I want to turn around the aircraft to see pushback cars or passengers for example. Is there a way to do this in a quicker way instead of using keys W A S D F R and numpad 2 4 6 8? How to set this in the joystick, so that it does the job with one button with four arrows? 2. I see that if I use the drone camera while flying I lose flight controls and the aircraft goes on its own pattern... For example, I changed from cockpit to drone just to see the outside and I tried to turn left/right, and even tried some stunts looking from the outside. The aircraft simply doesn't obey to any control... Solutions?

There was some consternation in Toronto this evening as a strange arrival flew into the city airport weaving in and out of the local traffic. This is a fun aircraft to fly and is free. Sounds great, but ground handling is ... shall we say.... interesting, as is having no brakes on landing and trimming for level flight is an art 🙂 A pilot would be nice though... with maybe an alternative of having Snoopy with a long streaming scarf? (or am I getting too gamey now <innocent smile>) https://flightsim.to/file/19612/fokker-dr1-triplane Had a great flight up from Niagara airport, across the lake and then a turn in to the Islan…

Someone please help me understand what appears (to me) to be a contradiction. On the one hand, I read in this forum that the PC and Xbox versions of MSFS actually run the identical code. On the other hand, I also read in this forum that the Xbox version is DX12 while the PC version is DX11. So is it the same code, or not?

Hopefully it’s a great add on and looks good. A little pricey but having nice looking and correct taxiway signs is a good thing (default out of the box msfs with this would have been nice)

How can I tell if an addon airport that I bought and use on the PC would be available for use on the XBox? I was looking in the Marketplace for any mention of XBox compatibility but I didnt see anything. Does anyone with an XBox (preferably Series S because thats what I might be getting) know anything about this?

Hi, I am using the Orbx downloader but the problem I have is that it places all the downloaded content into one folder, which you specify when installing the Orbx software. I have all my addons sorted by country, so that when I select a country in Add-on linker, I will only get addons added into the Community folder for that area. Orbx downloads sit in a different folder entirely, and as they can be for every geographic region, depending on what has been purchased, I have to remember to go to the Orbx folder and then pick out the correct sceneries or airports for the region I want. The only other option I can think of, is to copy the areas from the Orb…

If the mods think this is better suited to another forum section my apologies, please move it as as you see fit... I've got several questions regarding ram usage, the ideal spec recommends 32GB of ram. Are people seeing close to that in usage on max settings at 4k in places like New York? How will lots of mods affect ram usage? Once DX12 is supported will more than 32GB make a noticeable difference on a CPU like a 10900K? Do you think 64GB is a better choice long term, especially with VR use? Any input is much appreciated!

It appears to be light jet week in MSFS as hot on the heels on the surprisingly great C22J comes a model of the Bede BD-5J as seen in the movie Octopussy. https://secure.simmarket.com/azurpoly-bede-bd-5j-msfs.phtml It's the first MSFS plane from AzurePoly but they have done several French airports for the sim already LFLY, FFOU & LTFH - anyone have these and able to make any comments ? They are asking 11.50€ + tax for it so slightly more than the C22 but still in the same very affordable bracket so does anyone feel like giving it a go ? (I'm more than happy with the C22 so going to give this one a miss for the moment unless it's something special)

Hi Guys, Apologies for probably wasting most everyone's time on a such a basic newbie question but I can't find anything in 40 pages of search results for Garmin tutorial that meets the start to finish type of understanding I am looking for, you know, a comprehensive user manual like I have for my chart plotter on the boat. Yes there are tutorials for specific aspects but in many cases seem to imply prior knowledge or other fundamental understanding of the instrument to start with. I'm sure it's not that hard, but its just confusing, not knowing where to start. I tried WT https://www.workingtitle.aero/packages/g1000/ but again it seemed to imply you know wha…

I wonder how detailled the Ju-52 will be... I expect at least a level of detail as the one I paid the same ammount for in IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad ( now costs around $6,24 only ), and where some really interesting aspects of the Ju-52 are modeled, such as those described on this excellent tutorial video by "Syn-Requiem" :

I recently got a Stream Deck, installed the Flight Tracker plugin and have been setting up auto pilot for several planes. Most work great, but I am having a problem with the Carenado Mooney and I'm not sure if it's because of a different AP system, something to do with Flight Tracker, pilot (me) error or a bug with the Mooney, in which case I would contact them. For AP in the Mooney, I can set up buttons for AP engage, NAV, HDG and HDG increase/decrease. But I have problems with ALT. I can't get increase/decrease to work, nor get VS to work correctly all the time. The Mooney AP has an "arm" button you need to push after setting the new ALT you want to go to and I won…
