Did anyone noticed and annoyed by the rolling of the horizon during the travel with the drone camera ? It banks right or left. (Sorry if this was disscussed in the forum before)

I wonder if the ATC issuing "Please expedite..." directives whenever I have already levelled at the correct altitude / level, still takes place after WU6 ? I believe it happened due to their new implementation of non-ISA pressure lapse rates, and I think I saw somewhere a mention of this having been corrected in WU6, but wasn't still able to reach my sim PC to install that one 😕

Just posted by MS: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/live-dev-q-a-and-junkers-ju-52-update/450356?fbclid=IwAR3HeZh1GS26SaiW90YQ3W-1BM9H4vPYhsajHh-07xAuSknRkI9J7BFObNQ Hi all, We have two delays to announce tonight. Due to an unexpected Out of Office from one of the members of our Dev Q&A stream, we unfortunately have to postpone the live Dev Q&A to a later date. We will provide more info on this shortly. As announced previously, we are introducing a new series called Local Legends: historic aircraft that coincide with World Updates. Today, World Update VI: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, was released and the plane to go with it, Junkers JU-52, was…

I really do not want to click any additional button during the launch of the sim. As before, we skipped intros, videos, music, etc. to shorten the time of launch. Now this "Safe Mod" check is not for me. I know many simmers think like that, as well. Generally I quit the sim by closing the window which was easy and fast for me. (Never close the sim originally via Main Menu > Quit to Desktop.) And now, my old way of closing the sim seems to be an error or CTD to the MSFS and shows up the "Safe Mod" warning on every start. Safe Mod warning is good but somehow, we would like it, to be ignored or it can be shown for a few seconds or so, and continue with Normal M…

Few months ago I was trying to land on rooftops in Bell 47 just to find out that they are transparent and basically I just flew through them as they were no hard surface to land. Recently, without any mod or add just with default photogrammetry I'm able to land on rooftops in random building. Here are few examples with H145

I never considered purchasing this after some early poor reviews. However I saw a recent review stating it had been patched so I purchased it. It indeed a very nice aircraft! Cruises around 160kts, has a super rate of climb, trims nicely, flies smoothly and has good feel through the controls. In fact I think it feels super realistic in the landing phase. If you have been put off before, maybe consider it again. Available in the MS Marketplace or at Just Flight

Crud, seems that the satellite imagery used to build the Bernese Oberland area of Switzerland (e.g. Wengen, Grindelwald & Lauterbrunnen) was shot in mid Spring, such that all its beautiful lush green scenery and picturesque villages are covered in snow; not to mention the meh rendering of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Yeah, this is a flight sim so I should not worry about that, but still what a huge disappointment (at least for me). What seems extra ironic about using mid Spring is that it neither has good snow for skiing nor the beautiful scenery for tourism, both which are big draws for that area of Switzerland. Oh well, so much for my rant...back to flying.

I just started using this plane less than a week ago. Unfortunately the acclaimed Heavy Divsion mod is not good post SU-5 as the most recent revision for that mod preceeded SU-5 by a week or two. So after initially trying the plane w/ the mod only to find too many broken basics, I decided to give the default 787-10 a test. I'm quite impressed, despite its shortcomings. When I compare against a flight done in the PMDG NGXu truthfully I can say they are shockingly comparable, really. Sure there are many missing details, but a lot of those don't come into play in the NGXu anyway, once you're configured the plane. Especially performance and while CAT III landings aren'…

I have been using an PC Xbox Controller for a few months now and in the past during flight, I would turn it on to pan around scenery and when i turned it on there would be a pause or a crash and sim would close down but most of time pause and controller would do its job. Lately, and this is pre WU6 and tail end of Update5 during flight and I turn it on now it leaves the Flight back to the menu and flashes up a box that asks if i would like to use preset settings or custom ones and I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS BREAKS EVERYTHING IMMERSIVE IN ANY GAME ANY ONE WOULD EVER PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is this just start happening? Thanks in advance, Steve

The co-pilot does not show in this and the Arrow. But I see it in YouTube reviews. This seems to be asked a lot but no cures, has anyone managed to get it working?

We are quite a few here to be amateur of a good mesh. And we judge the mesh looking at ridges and peaks. Guilty as charged, I just did that in the screenshot forum. Be unhappy with morphing and so on and so forth. There is another perspective. I am in a series of flights along the Danube river from its source in Donaueschingen, Germany. I am impressed by the finesse of the WU6 mesh in a non-mountainous environment. We see the river flowing through the shallow valleys it has created over millenia with villages over the shores. A great lesson in physical but also human geography.

With this update I feel like we have finally gotten over the hump with this project. Of course, SU5 was a huge step in the right direction, but we really needed this update to truly deliver on the potential that SU5 was teasing us with. Now that the sim runs great for most, and looks just as good, the team at Asobo can focus on the nagging little issues that are pretty much everywhere. I just don't think we were going to get there until we got to the point we are at today. I am not suggesting the hard work is behind the team, but I believe the resources that have been allocated to get this project in decent shape can now be utilized to fix so many other previously "lower …

ASOBO added, and tuned some of the default aircraft with it, Elasticity tables for the control surfaces, so that it is now possible to impact their deflection rate / travel according to dynamic pressure ( expressed in the form of local IAS ). I believe they just forgot to make the effect have a corresponding visual component because full travel / deflection is still observed visually from external views, or at least it did last time ( pre-WU6 ) I tried it... Not really a major problem, but would benefit from some retouch...

I just want to inform my findings until jet to the Airport EDDS Stuttgart that we get with WU6 here. First, i have Navigraph 806 Installed and over LNM it shows a ILS for both runways, 07 and 25. If i fly ILS RW07 no magenta ILS pointer is seeing in the PFD ( 787-10 ) this can possible vary with different planes..and maybe ? not happen for everyone. Second, ILS 25 is working but the path brings you down shortly before the runway if you let the plane do his work total under AP controll, a good point for that is shut down the AP at about 300-250 feet above ground take over the plane your self to correct that to settle up at the runway. All that maybe not…

I still cannot load any plane into KDEN. Loading freezes about 'half way' and I have to use the Task Manager to close MSFS . So I thought I'd try deleting the Premium component of MSFS via the Content Manager, and then reinstall the Premium component in case the original download "lost a bit in Denver"! I don't have any add-on scenery, and this problem persists even if I empty my Community folder. Is this relatively safe to do? Thx, Al

LOD 3.5/5 Takeoff from KTEB head NE/East NY Clearly seen. Google Earth, I found were I was and droped a pin. 28 Miles It was around 35 that NY started to fade away. Is that tied to LOD 3.5? who knows?

Posted by Jayne on the official forums - good news: Thank you! Our team has identified four bugs with elevator trim and are prioritizing for fixes and release in future updates. They include: Elevator Trim is super sensitive when changed using the mouse wheel Elevator trim cannot be properly adjusted on aircraft that have electric trim switches (a regression) Full range of elevator trim cannot be achieved with Elevator Trim Axis (-100% to 100%) command Warning appears when user tries to map an axis to the Elevator Trim Axis (0 to 100%) command They have been able to get the specific repros needed thanks to your help. Will keep you updated …

In the mess of an upgrade process, I had to uninstall MSFS and then reinstall to get the update. I had previously installed to an SSD folder, E:\MyMSFS\, since it's the same SSD that I have P3D installed on. But now trying to install either from the XBOX APP or the Store the only options to install are to pick a drive, no way to specify a folder. Is there some way to do that? Otherwise, I must uninstall pretty much everything and figure out a way to keep folders separate for my benefit. This process is a horrendous MESS! Please tell me there is a way! Bruce

So I found a new (to me) exciting way to experience CTD's that I should share a heads-up on. Apologies if it's been pointed out before, but I'm a regular reader of this forum and haven't seen it mentioned. Because I am lazy (some would say efficient) I tend to use certain buttons on my controllers for multiple commands that either compliment each other or should not conflict with each other, as opposed to making X number of new controller profiles for every plane. For example, I have the same button mapped to "Toggle Spoiler" as I do for "Toggle Water Rudders" because, let's face it, there aren't any floatplanes yet that need spoilers. I picked up this habit from I…
