Just wondered if we could have a dedicated thread for this new option rather than have pearls of wisdom lost in other threads. How are you finding it?

After the release of the F-15, Stearman ,F-14 Tomcat, P-40B Tomahawk and Nieuport 17, DC Designs shows us the first images of its P-61B Black Widow.this is an old creation for FSX and P3D, now carried on MSFS with a new external model. The cockpit is entirely built for MSFS.

...That Asobo/MS did´nt fix the issue with dissapearing buildings/rooftops at e.g ESSB in Sweden... Buildings (that still looks horrible and blocky at ESSB) are vissible during takeoff, but after a short go-arund and when I return for approach the buildings surrounding ESSB are gone! Buspelle

Hello all, from SU5 (and still with today WU) i have a serious problem with the throttle control on Thrustmaster Airbus T320 joystick and with keyboard too (keys F1-F4). I can't move the throttle lever from "feather" range to the left to the operating range (from REV to POWER), so i can't fly with my favorit plane TBM 930. With every other planes the throttle controls works normaly, but not with TBM 😞 Is there some tips to fix it? Thanks! Pic: https://ctrlv.cz/YPXf

Hi, I have installed the WT G1000 NXI and I have verified that it doesn't work with Logitech Multi Panel (AP). The Panel is not working. Useless. I'm really worried because I have read that it will come by default in the next update. I hope this update inclusion won't add another problem to the ones I already have now in MSFS. Anyone has tried the WT G1000 NXI with Logitech Multi Panel? Thank you.

So I had originally intended to leave the new "Off screen precache" setting on Medium, but obviously had to have a little play with it. Oddly, I found that setting it to Low resulted in absolutely awful, stuttery performance (as a result of very high off-screen precaching). I then tried High and noticed that my performance seemed around the same as it had been on Medium but with smoother performance. I finally tried Ultra and was amazed to see FPS did not drop and the sim was as buttery smooth as I've ever seen it. BTW, this is with a humble i7 4790k 3.8Ghz, and a GTX 1080. So..... better performance in Ultra than in Low for this setting. Anyone else…

Mountains look like that, but not the ground crews and hostesses. All on sale for about 2 more days (MarketPlace and the home URLs of the maker). I have only checked a couple so far but find nothing out of whack with them in WU6. The ones I checked over are marked with an x in front. The 2 middle numbers are USD regular and sale price. (Zurich was $13 now $9). The last number is MarketPlace user rating (Buyers rated Zurich 4.7 on 1 to 5 scale). I haven't seen any scenery more attractive than the Tyrol after WU6 ! Hi, I think this occured with WU6: My home airport EDBM and its surroundings were working great until recently. However, now the ground textures change on the fly while I am gaining altitude. It is as if with higher altitudes (just like 500 feet or so above ground) the game wants to display a different type of texture. These are clearly still photo textures streamed from the Internet, but unfortunately in a completely different color (probably taken in a different time of year). The result is extremly annoying. Hi all, well I decide to sacrifice 15$ and try this SmoothTrack app for head tracking, I must say, I’m extremely impressed with how well it works, I really wasn’t expecting head tracking to be all that good with a 15$ piece of software and no requirement to use a head gear of any sorts, but it actually is! Just trying to dial it in with sensitivities and I’m just about there, maybe a long shot but anyone on here use this and if so, what have you found a good sensitivity setting.

Apparently, the latest update WU6 has again reduced the visibility of the forest. I think Asobon should immediately restore the visibility of the stand to where it was after the previous update SU5. SU5 LOD 2.0 = 10 nm but WU6 LOD 2.0 = 5 nm! It is very important for the simulator landscape that the trees are visible from afar as in reality.

SU6 came with a new graphic setting: "Raymarched reflections".- Want to know what is that for ?

In P3D I have been using Active Sky with ASCA. I realize that this is personal opinion but, what weather engine is recommended for MSFS?

How can you map a control to extend the spoilers only 1 detent and not all the way?

Hello! Can someone point me in the right direction on how to install updated navigraph data in MSFS2020 manually? I don't use their external program (for reasons) and prefer to do it manually. I do this with XPlane and prefer the manual control. However I haven't been able to find step by step instructions on how to do it in MSFS2020. Thanks for any help!

I used the WT CJ4 mod and the WT G3000 mod with the Longitude a lot with no issues prior to WU6 (thanks WT team!!). After making several flights with these mods after WU6, I think I have identified a couple of issues. On the WT CJ4 mod, the autopilot will not always capture the preset altitude on a climb or descent. And after I do finally manage to get it level, the autopilot will not always maintain the set altitude. Sometimes it will very slowly drift higher or lower until I manually correct it. And on ILS approaches, even though I have an ILS set up and the APPR mode armed, the autopilot will not capture the GS like it used to before WU6. The white "GS" annu…

In true MSFS2020 fashion, the update stops the game from starting again and I (once again, like with every other update) need your much appreciated help. The symptoms I have now are this: When I click on the icon, the game says there's a mandatory update and the game has to be updated in the MS Store. Then it closes itself and opens the MS Store. But there when I go to updates, nothing needs to be updated, and if I look up the MIcrosoft Flight Simulator app the blue button just says "Play" with no option to update. What to do? I wish MS would get notice of these issues because this is the 6th update, and the 6th time the update just breaks the game that I can'…

Hi Guys, After a Windows 10 issue I had to reinstall it. My MSFS 2020 folder was located away from the main drive so everything installed is still there. Is there a way to reactivate it so I don't have to do a full reinstall?

Can anyone tell me how to set the speed brake up on a joystick or keyboard for the DC Designs F-14 Tomcat?

Please excuse this simple question but I am new to the Microsoft Store and their Apps. I purchased FS2020 for my Dad and he runs it at home on his PC logged into my MS account. Can I download and install it on the PC at my home, using the same MS Account, and run it at the same time as him? Or do I need to buy another copy of FS2020? Thanks for your help :-)

I have been getting back into BMS Falcon the past few days, figuring that if Asobo broke MSFS with today’s update that I’d have a plan B ready to go. As I dove further into BMS I couldn’t help but compare these two simulators. On the surface they don’t necessarily compete head to head, as one is focused on flying while the other tilts totally towards combat. Still, there’s quite a bit of overlap. For those who don’t know BMS Falcon is a mod of the original Falcon 4.0. It is an F-16 simulator, and a whole lot more. Its dynamic campaign is legendary in the industry. Hello! I'm currently setting up my custom interior camera locations and am wanting to set some in the back cabin of some of the planes, including Mooney and Caavan. However there seems to be an invisible wall inside some of the planes and not the others. Has anyone figured out a way to remove the invisibel wall? I can see a lot of the interiros are beautiful and complete so think just being able to move the camera back would be a popular idea. Thanks!

Hey guys - so I finally got my mouse to work with the drone camera but assigning the yaw to x axis and pitch to y axis. This allows me to use the mouse to look around in drone mode which is super convenient and intuitive. However each flight the rotation speed is reset to 50% which is much to slow. I have to increase it to like 70% for a mroe natural feel. How can I get this setting to save and be persistent between flights? Thanks!
