Hey guys - does anyone know if it's safe to add additional folders in the Packages directory? I want to add a "_mods" folder there to store inactive mods/sceneries/tools/etc. So then I can easily swap into Community folder. Will this mess up the sim? Will it activate anything in there? THanks

Is there any software that allows for easy editing of the engines.cfg? Or are we left to use a text editor? Nothing in the SDK? Karl

I haven't flown the LHC TB21GT Trinidad for awhile, maybe since before SU5. But when I loaded up today, the plane was invisible, both inside and out. . I tried 3 or 4 different liveries, and then re-downloaded (version 4.2.1), but still the same result. Is anyway else seeing this, is it something on my machine, or is the 4.2.1 not the latest version? Thanks - Bob

Dear virtual Pilots, whats the current stat of the Carenado C182? Any bugs open? I like flying with the Piper Warrior, but i want to be a little faster and a high-winged machine is better for sight-seeing. Thanks for your opinions.

Hello! Quick question: Is there a way to permanently change the drone camera ROTATION speed? It currently always seems to default back to 50%

I was a bit sceptical at first as this was launched as a membership for 24e. but i have to say this guy has really delivered. Not only were there approx 12 Airports/ Airfileds at launch but he has also added at least another 6 since. Including Valencia LEVC today . Venice LIPZ a few weeks ago and Genoa LIMZ prior to that. Just one of these Airports is worth it for that price alone.... Have a look.

I know there are utilities to connect to a tablet that provide a lot of information, but what about one for the desktop?

I was curious if anyone has found this? I looked at the the hundreds of offerings on a few sites with no luck. I must admit I was a bit surprised.

The caching setting added to the menu has been a major success I believe, at least for people with high spec machines, but it appears even people with lower spec machines have benefited. Asobo say they like listening to us, and they did respond with this adjustment for us, so I am thinking maybe there could be a graphics adjustment wish list over on the official forum if it is worth it, as some people are still editing the user config file to get the best out of the sim, and even using the Nvidia Control Panel (NCP). The issue with this is that you have to quit the sim and restart to see you adjustment. In game slide…

For those who don't wat to read this long post - TLDR / Conclusions: I found that Terrain LOD / Objects LOD 200/200 setting is the best for most configurations and 400/400 an acceptable compromise for high-end machines & demanding users. Even with high-end machines though, 400/400 may cause framerate to drop below 30 in the presence of PG cities, heavy traffic and complex live weather. I believe this is the reason why Asobo limited these settings at 200 in the UI. I can't seem to get any weather radar to show up on the Bendix radar screen on the Carenado Piper Seneca. Anyone else having this problem? I have real weather enabled on sim and Bendix definitely in the on position. Any suggestions would be welcomed. This is a great aircraft to fly. I have also the premium version of the GTN750 which works a treat.

So i did a complete reinstall just saying that incase its relavent. However on the main map page under departure drop down menu it shows 3 airports that i have hardly ever used , especially since my reinstall. Dies anyone know how to change or reset it ? What is its criteria for being a favorite ? Thanks.,

Is there any way to map Airbus A320's Pack 1 & 2 buttons to TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition's buttons 5 and 6? I cannot find them in the list of available commands... Thanks in advance!

I just realised that the night lighting of the cities seems to be problematic. There is no road lights or building lights. Only addon buildings or sceneries seem to have lights. Is it just me or any of you noticed the same ? Please see the images. Wonder if someone could lead me to a setting that would make the yellow taxiway signs easier to read at night. It's almost as if the bright yellow is overwhelming the black lettering. Almost impossible to read if the aircraft is moving. I am using a lower end graphics card(GTX1050ti). Thanks for the replies in advance.

Hello, thank you for having me on the forum. We have just got MSFS for Xbox S and my 8 year old son and I are working our way through the flight training. The only thing is, the little objectives box that was originally at the top of the screen has suddenly moved down and is right over the dashboard, obscuring the right hand side of the airspeed indicator. So you can’t see how fast you are going. I have tried switching objectives off in the main menu, but it turns out that if you are doing flight training you CAN’T switch them off. Please could someone help? It’s driving us mad. Many thanks

Silly question - when MSFS first came out I remember seeing an up or down arrow when hovering over the A320 autopilot controls, but now the control button just turns blue and it seems to want me to right mouse button click or center wheel click or ??? - but whatever I do I can’t seem to engage these controls? Thank you for any tips...

Has anyone flown this? My observations: there is no nosewheel steering when gear down and water rudder up/down doesn't seem to make a difference one way or the other. Anyone else experience this or have a work around?
