Nvidia driver mod having upped my fps, tonight flying the drop dead gorgeous Waco! I cheat a bit by making the pilot 305 pounds and putting a 25 pound suitcase up front. (You have to do this in the hangar before going to FLY. It can't be done in this plane in the handlebar). And like with warbirds, I use assisted takeoff in the MSFS options. Until MSFS makes realistic tail drag physics I am forced to do that with over powered tail draggers. Carenado put in a larger engine than most Wacos. So it's squirrely on the runway like a warbird. Did I miss something on a new A330 being available in the sim? All of a sudden an Airbus 330 is in the hanger? Also I understand that it is not study level but it is incredibly smooth and ZERO spikes (Red) in the FPS in Developer mode?

after updating to SU9 I lost weather/time selection panel from MSFS top menu, when tried to switch it on from panel selections found selection button is grayed out (inactive/ not selectable). anyone knows how to reactivate it?

Still having a problem with extreme green scenery, especially the roads. Has anyone come up with a fix for this? Thanks

With all the hot release coming out or are out all ready, is there any buzz about a boeing 727 coming out ? Now that we have the MD-80 out, a few years earlier, came out first the Boeing727-100, and a few years later the Boeing 727-200. In FSX I really enjoyed flying the 727, especially the 200 version. I bought this plane actually from Captain Sim.

I flew a flight yesterday, using a Simbrief flightplan as I always do, loaded into MSFS and also to Avliasoft EFB. Flight yesterday was normal. Today I wanted to fly the same flight, and I wanted to start on the runway, and I noticed that MSFS put a departure procedure up when I selected the flight to launch on the active runway. I did not want to fly the procedure, so I selected "direct" and launched the flight. Now I noticed the the flight plan was totally different than the one I flew yesterday. I have already file a bug to zen desk, but wonder if anyone else tried to load at BIRK airport? I have flown 800 miles leg and about few miles out of BIRK MSFS CTD. So I started MSFS again, and then loaded aircraft at BRIK. Again MSFS crashed. Does anyone have similar experience?

I have had MSFS installed since the first public release, from the MS store. It's almost completely a stock install except for some airports and planes from the Marketplace. Nothing in my community folder. I noticed the checklist window was blank, but thought it might be a bug. However, it hasn't changed with any of the updates. This happens on all aircraft, stock and payware. I was getting CTDs a while back and the fix was restoring all of the C++ libraries from Microsoft. This also FIXED the checklist problem. Hello, We are home cockpit builders, we have some custom software that gets erased with every single update and it's tedious, so I just released this tool to disable them with one click: This AIN'T A MOD! So I was cruising along and suddenly my GPU starts to go to 100% usage (it stayed there for the remainder of this episode). In the following minutes FPS deterioriated slowly but steady (down to 5 FPS in the end), while my GPU temps also got lower and lower (30 degrees in the end) - with 100% usage! I forgot to check the GPU clock, but I presume it was massively clocked down for some reason (this is the only technical possibility of it having high usage with low temps). EDIT: By the way, the FPS remained that low in the ESC menu, which I never saw before… I did not do anything else in the background. I was flying around the Sunshine Coast up in Queensland this morning and I sent myself up for a landing and the throttle on my Airbus TCA stick went non responsive. Although I throttled right back to idle my engine just increased speed to maximum. I tried a couple of other planes with the same result. Using the keyboard it was the same. A tad disconcerting. Even with full brakes on my plane seemed not to want to stop. Anyone else had this phenomenon and know how to fix it please?

Been getting this now radomly over a period of about a month, well before SU9, i only fly the TBM and the FBW development version A320, some flights are just fine and then out of nowhere I get this a application error and then its back to the desktop, very very frustrating, the last one happend today just feet from touching down at LEBL after a 2hr flight in the FBW A320. First of all, Asobo develop a game (sim??) that can only be used ONLINE. Then they appear to be totally incapable of organising their server setup - especially in peak times (after an update). My update went fine, but I've had SIX "lost connections" in six consecutive flights now - with the usual mess that entails. Regardless of every other teak or fix that try to improve this pig's ear of a product, it's a waste of time if you can't even "fly" it. Hello all Anyone know how to recover a previous throttle calibration after updating to a newer version of the Dev Build ? I note that the flyPad has a "Load from File" option, but clicking on this seems to have no effect. Just wondering if the previous calibration info is stored in a file that can copied across to the version ? Regards Edit: Location found on FBWs site.

I haven't been on my sim for a number of weeks. To be honest, I'm starting to lose patience. Since SU8 I started to have stutters that I hadn't experienced before, so I thought I'd pass on things for a while. However, yesterday I thought I'd fire up the sim and update to SU9. I started up the computer and found I couldn't launch MSFS. 😠 I mean what the hell is this about? It worked fine about eight weeks ago, and now nothing has changed, and I can't even launch the sim. Anyone seen this error message yet? Just popped up on startup today for me. Last night I ran it just fine, was flying from FT KBOS and had to quit mid flight...went to Main Menu and exited like normal. First startup today made it look like my sim shut down incorrectly last night because it said Normal Mode or Safe Mode. I chose normal and then I get this new error! Oh this sim... for goodness sake.... Hi, I downloaded the DoubleT VTBS from simmarket, unzip, and place the file into the commumity folder. I started a flight from VTBS, but it only shows the default airport. I double checked the content manager it shows installed, but it does not show up in the sim. There is also no 'plug' symbol like any other addon airports in the 'world map'. While all of my other addons in the community folder works perfectly fine. Can anyone help with my issue? I am using steam version. Thanks.

So no Q (yet) on how to start) My intention is to take off from Runway 18L (KDFW) turn around (A tear drop) and do an ILS (18R) 111.9 and come and land. I start of the flight DFW (18L) DFW (18R). Just released from the WT team: a fixed 0.12.1 version of the NXi G1000 (within the marketplace). This fixes several Vnav and vertical mode approach behaviors which I won't get into here. My Kodiak is again fun to land in ILS activities. Dave
